Hornsea Cottage is a lovely two-bedroom cottage located in Catwick, close to Leven, in Yorkshire's East Riding.

Hornsea Cottage is a terrific alternative for couples or a family of five, as it is dog-friendly and has easy access to the local amenities and beautiful coast.

On-street parking is available, and the back garden at Hornsea Cottage has an external utility, gravel, and bistro table and chairs for enjoying the day's last of the sunshine with a glass of wine.

Be welcomed into the living/dining room, with plush seating, a crackling woodburning stove and a TV, perfect for evenings relaxing with loved ones.

Proceed into the well-equipped kitchen, where you can whip up hearty meals to be enjoyed at the dining table or alfresco in the garden.

After exploring, there's a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower on the ground floor where you can wash away the day’s adventures.

Up the narrow staircase on the first floor, you'll find two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double with a TV and the other a triple bunk, both with a view of the countryside.

Leven provides all your necessities with a convenience store, a welcoming pub and restaurant, the New Inn, and a fish and chip shop.

Hornsea offers a greater variety of services and attractions, such as the Bugtopia Hornsea Zoo, Hornsea Mere, and the Hornsea Museum, as well as other options such as Hall Garth Park for a picnic, Hornsea Beach for a dip, and the Marine for a substantial pub meal.

Visit Beverley, known for its beautiful minister, its historic guild hall, its popular golf course, and its weekly market (held every Saturday).

Hull is a thriving city with a wide variety of attractions, including the Deep aquarium, the Streetlife Museum, the Hull New Theatre, and other places to dine and shop.

Hornsea 7 miles; Beverley 8 miles; Hull 13 miles; Bridlington 16 miles; York 38 miles.

Leven is a rural village situated approximately seven miles from Hornsea and eight miles from Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The village is home to two pubs as well as an amateur football bowling and cricket team. A short drive will take you to the historic market town of Beverley, with its Gothic Minster and bustling twice weekly market. Beverley is full of history and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from - don't forget to enjoy a day out at Beverley Races! The Deep submarium in Hull (2017 City of Culture), the fascinating city of York, the North York Moors and the East Coast seaside towns of Hornsea, Bridlington and Scarborough are all within an hour’s drive. Leven is a well-located holiday base for exploring the surrounding area.
