A beautiful semi-detached period cottage offering well equipped accommodation, situated in an unspoilt area of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, an ideal base for family holidays or short breaks. This beautiful former mistal (milking barn) has been renovated, decorated and furnished to provide an immaculate, comfortable cottage which is a well-placed base for your holiday on the Yorkshire coast and perfect for those who wish to be set apart from the crowd and enjoy a tranquil and picturesque location.What an outstanding property

Layout

Ground Floor
With the original beams, this charming cottage has an open plan sitting room with wood burning stove-style fire, comfortable sofas, TV/DVD and superb views across glorious countryside. There is a dining area with a table and chairs to seat four - ideal for enjoying meals together with family and friends.

The smart kitchen has an electric double oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, plus a washing machine/dryer. (Plus iron/ironing board.)
First Floor
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and hand wash basin.

On the first floor are two charming, good-size bedrooms with lovely views over open countryside; a double bedroom in lovely fresh shades of green with exposed beams plus a twin bedoom, accessorised with accents of rose.
Outside
To the outside is an enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ - perfect to enjoy al fresco dining on long, warm days.

A family run attraction with lots to see and do, with Lavender Fields – a pleasant nature walk, tea room and unique gift shop.

SCARBOROUGH TO WHITBY RAIL TRAIL.

This former railway line which closed in 1923 is now open to walkers and cyclists.

Known as the ‘Cinder Track’, it takes you through the North Yorks Moors National Park with options to take several detours to visit places such as Cloughton Wyke, the Cleveland Way and Stoupe Beck Sands.

SCARBOROUGH CASTLE.

The 12th century castle conceals over 2,500 years of turbulent history and is well worth a visit when in Scarborough.

Specially constructed viewing platforms offers visitors wonderful views of the coastline and town.

If bird watching is your passion, then the magnificent cliffs of Bempton can showcase Puffins at certain times of the year.
