One of two apartments within a detached duplex, with truly stunning panoramic sea views, a beautiful and stylish beach-front holiday apartment is just yards from the award-winning beach - this has to be one of the best locations! Wow, such a lovely property in a perfect location - imagine seeing that view every morning or when sipping pre-dinner drinks as the sun sets - magnificent! The property has been decorated and furnished with great attention to detail to provide a really luxe holiday experience.

Unfortunately my cat was desperately ill so I couldn’t go and it was too late to cancel

My cousin and his wife used the holiday and had a fabulous time. They report that the property is absolutely gorgeous.



This superior apartment located in a detached beach-front duplex is fabulous and offers discerning holidaymakers a wonderful experience - the living area is open plan with floor-to-ceiling windows/doors that open up to let the sea breeze in and the decor has a hint of the Mediterranean.

The property has its own private entrance which opens into the hall from which you enter into the living area which includes a stunning sitting room with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV - catch up on your Netflix list! - decorated and furnished in shades of off-whites and accessorised with sky-blue with white-washed, driftwood-inspired furniture.

The kitchen is well-equipped and includes an electric oven and hob, a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker, wine fridge and a washer/dryer.

The dining area, with table and chairs, is an idyllic spot to enjoy meals together against a backdrop of the view of the beach and sea.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king size (5') bed, bedside tables and a wardrobe; there's also a twin bedroom that has full size 3' single beds, a Smart TV with integrated DVD, bedside table and a chest of drawers.

A superb wet room, tiled in white, provides shower facilities with a WC and twin hand wash basins.


A fabulous balcony provides a perfect spot for sitting and taking in the amazing view of the award-winning beach and out to sea - imagine getting up to watch the sun rise over the bay, coffee in hand, as its rays turn the sea into a brilliant, shimmering blue and the beach a deep gold whilst listening to the waves lap at the shore - what could be more relaxing on a perfect holiday?

Filey is a popular choice and is reminiscent of childhood holidays – an elegant and tranquil seaside town boasting a beautiful, award-winning beach, charming shops and plenty of activities for all the family.

FILEY BEACH With miles of golden, sandy beach nearby – recently voted the UK’s Best Beach in 2018 – there’s always plenty of room for the little ones to let off some steam and for the adults to walk for miles uninterrupted.

Or try your hand at water sports such as sailing or surfing or just settle down in a deck chair with a good book and enjoy the sunshine.

THE COBLE LANDING Lined with boats and kiosks selling coffee, tea, seaside snacks and even those ever-popular bacon sandwiches, The Coble Landing is a must to enjoy the views before a walk along the spacious promenade, dotted with coastal themed sculptures.

THE FILEY BRIGG You can walk to the tip of this narrow rock peninsular during low tide and maybe see a seal, sunbathing on the rocks.

The cliff top above The Brigg forms part of the Country Park, which is popular with picnickers, birdwatchers and hang-gliders and is the start of The Wolds Way.

FILEY MUSEUM A past winner of Discover Yorkshire Coast’s Small Attraction of the Year award, is housed in a building dating from 1696, and is crammed with fascinating memorabilia, including an extensive photographic archive.

DALBY FOREST Cyclists can enjoy a challenge at Dalby Forest, or perhaps follow some of the Tour De Yorkshire route and tackle the famous Cote De Harwood Dale or just pedal village to village along the idyllic country roads of the nearby Wolds and admire the views made famous by leading artist David Hockney.

BEMPTON CLIFFS Bird Lovers will love the nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs to see the 250,000 guillemots, gannets and puffins who flock there to raise their young between April and August.

It is a haven for birds and animals, including an important colony of great-crested newts and has an interesting Visitor Centre.

STEPHEN JOSEPH THEATRE Scarborough is 20 minutes north of Filey where theatre goers can enjoy the world premieres of Alan Ayckbourn plays plus Scarborough Open Air Theatre attracts many world-class artists – recent concerts have included Britney Spears, The Beach Boys, Little Mix and Tom Jones! RESTAURANTS Filey has a number of restaurants including many renowned fish and chip eateries, good local inns, English, Chinese and India restaurants.

There are charming tea rooms to enjoy the gentle pleasure of taking afternoon tea SHOPPING Boasting splendid Edwardian architecture, Filey is home to many quirky shops – while away an afternoon browsing and collecting souvenirs.

There are many independent shops for groceries and provisions plus a Co-op and a Tesco supermarket.
