Quarter Deck is a beautiful two-bedroom, two-bathroom ground floor apartment which can sleep up to four people. The interior has been refurbished to create spacious living accommodation and includes high quality furnishings to give it that extra special feel.

The superb, large sitting room boasts lovely views of Filey Bay; there's a flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi so you can keep in touch with the outside world - if necessary! The kitchen has a dining area, and is ideal for holiday makers having everything you need for your break including a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster and washing machine.

A large double bedroom has views of Glen Gardens and an en-suite shower room with shower, WC and hand wash basin.

There is a second bedroom for two, with a single bed plus a pull-out truckle bed. The smart house bathroom comprises a bath, shower over, WC and hand wash basin with a Yorkshire Rose stained glass window high enough to enjoy but retain your privacy.
Outside is a useful enclosed courtyard, ideal for storing beach equipment, surf boards, bikes, etc.

FILEY BEACH With miles of golden, sandy beach nearby – recently voted the UK’s Best Beach in 2018 – there’s always plenty of room for the little ones to let off some steam and for the adults to walk for miles uninterrupted.

Or try your hand at water sports such as sailing or surfing or just settle down in a deck chair with a good book and enjoy the sunshine.

THE COBLE LANDING Lined with boats and kiosks selling coffee, tea, seaside snacks and even those ever-popular bacon sandwiches, The Coble Landing is a must to enjoy the views before a walk along the spacious promenade, dotted with coastal themed sculptures.

THE FILEY BRIGG You can walk to the tip of this narrow rock peninsular during low tide and maybe see a seal, sunbathing on the rocks.

The cliff top above The Brigg forms part of the Country Park, which is popular with picnickers, birdwatchers and hang-gliders and is the start of The Wolds Way.

FILEY MUSEUM A past winner of Discover Yorkshire Coast’s Small Attraction of the Year award, is housed in a building dating from 1696, and is crammed with fascinating memorabilia, including an extensive photographic archive.

DALBY FOREST Cyclists can enjoy a challenge at Dalby Forest, or perhaps follow some of the Tour De Yorkshire route and tackle the famous Cote De Harwood Dale or just pedal village to village along the idyllic country roads of the nearby Wolds and admire the views made famous by leading artist David Hockney.

BEMPTON CLIFFS Bird Lovers will love the nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs to see the 250,000 guillemots, gannets and puffins who flock there to raise their young between April and August.

It is a haven for birds and animals, including an important colony of great-crested newts and has an interesting Visitor Centre.

STEPHEN JOSEPH THEATRE Scarborough is 20 minutes north of Filey where theatre goers can enjoy the world premieres of Alan Ayckbourn plays plus Scarborough Open Air Theatre attracts many world-class artists – recent concerts have included Britney Spears, The Beach Boys, Little Mix and Tom Jones! RESTAURANTS Filey has a number of restaurants including many renowned fish and chip eateries, good local inns, English, Chinese and India restaurants.

There are charming tea rooms to enjoy the gentle pleasure of taking afternoon tea SHOPPING Boasting splendid Edwardian architecture, Filey is home to many quirky shops – while away an afternoon browsing and collecting souvenirs.

There are many independent shops for groceries and provisions plus a Co-op and a Tesco supermarket.
