Mr Lambert
I booked this property for my elderly parents. My father is currently awaiting a hip replacement and is walking with difficulty at times. Before confirming the booking i telephoned the office and asked about access. I was told that access was via a short flight of stairs with 2 subsequent stairs down. On entering the property i was immediately faced with a steep flight of stairs, longer than usual, and then 4 steps back down. If i had known this correct information at the time i would have looked at a different property. Upon leaving the accommodation, my parents were not able to locate any extra refuse sacks, or the 'seagull bags' mentioned in the information in which to remove the rubbish. It seems this has been a common issue noted in the comments book by previous guests. I would appreciate a call from someone in your office to discuss further. Many Thanks in advance.
Mr Frost
The apartment was fantastic but you didn’t mention the steep flight of stairs that my 85 yr old mum had to climb I would not have booked this one if I knew inside was spotless very happy also the directions how to enter the apartment where not. clear enough Very confusing but we eventually got in and had a lovely stay
Miss Bradbury
The exact address would be helpful, its listed as Baxtergate, which it's not actually on, only a small detail but would make it easier to find. Also I got told I could park up to unload car, which you can't between certain hours of the day. Other than that everything was excellent.
Mr Cooper
Lovely place, great location. Not difficult to find if you follow the directions provided. Great facilities, although it’s a shame there’s no WiFi. Only one problem - the noise. Due to the central location and being next to a Wetherspoons, noise is to be expected but it was excessively noisy. You can also hear every single footstep or movement from the apartments above/across. You can hear every conversation people are having outside (noise seemed worse in the bunk bed room). TAKE EARPLUGS! Other than the lack of sleep, the apartment is beautiful and extremely comfortable.
Miss Taylor
A lovely accommodation! if I was to pick a fault the noice from the public house next door would put me off ever staying here again it was relentless from from very early to very ready for a good nights sleep when we got home.
Mr Newton
Very nice place. The sofas are small, so no chance of relaxing on them. The cafe below opens at 4:30-5am, real load talking and laughing. That stops, then the fan from the chip shop starts at 10:30, massive vibrations and noise. Not the best. I went on holiday to relax and came back home feeling tired. Massive shame as the apartment is very nice.
Mr Jones
The property is very close to a busy pub. At the weekend it is very noisy. it is such a shame because the property is lovely. The cleaning was not thorough especially since enhanced cleaning was supposed to be in place because of Covid-19.
