A perfect spot for enjoying a wonderful holiday and just a short walk to the centre of town with its shops, restaurants, cafes and beach, it has sea views from most windows.

Ground Floor
The apartment is a good size with a reception hall which leads to a stylish family bedroom with a king size bed, a single bed, TV and fitted wardrobes plus superb views over the water. A second bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobes, TV plus a Juliet balcony, again with fabulous views of the harbour.

There is a large open plan living area with lounge area with comfortable seating and a TV/DVD and Sky package - we love the armchair by the window where you can sit and gaze out to a wonderful view of the harbour, sea and the Abbey. A dining area is perfect for enjoying meals together and the well-equipped kitchen is decorated with accents of red, including a stylish large SMEG fridge plus oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer.

The bathroom is immaculate and stylish with granite surfaces and underfloor heating – a restful oasis whether enjoying a shower at the beginning of a day’s adventures or to dim the lights, light candles, and sink into bubbles as night falls with a glass of wine and a book! The bathroom has a bath, shower over, WC and hand wash basin.
With pretty communal gardens, a play area and a pontoon at the water’s edge. The centre of Whitby town, with its shops, restaurants and beach, is just a ten minute stroll.

Details to help you plan your holiday prior to your visit.

We think that the Watermark Apartment is suitable for most guests but please enquire about your individual requirements we have a family member with some mobility problems so are able to give you first-hand experience and offer information pertaining to your stay with us.

A specially allocated parking space has been made available for your personal use

On arrival to Whitehall Landing, follow the hill down to the bottom and turn right where you will see three yellow doors for access to Holt Court.
Parking is situated in the undercroft – Right Gate Entrance. Gates are opened with the same key as the main entrance door, bay 15 is located in the 5th space from the left and is numbered accordingly. PLEASE ONLY PARK IN YOUR ALLOCATED SPACE.
Additional car parking is available on the development and is numbered V for Visitor, or any un-numbered bay.

Access to the main building is through a door suitable for a wheelchair user - width is 81cm (32inches)

A small incline 2 “high into the building; ramp available on request but not normally necessary

Lift* and stair access to the apartment which is located on the 2nd floor. (Lift access door is 80cm).

Stairways; 8 steps to first floor, followed by a small landing with a further 8 steps (Handrails are in situ throughout the building)

Access to 2nd floor 8 steps to a large landing and a further 8 steps.

Width of stairways throughout are 110cm (43 inches)

Apartment Entrance.

To open the door please use the yale key, within the apartment everything is on one level with easy freedom of movement around beds and furniture, all doorways have a clearance of 81cm (32inches)

A hand rail is located in the bathroom on the wall to aid access into the bath, and for easy use of the shower which is over the bath (note we do not have a walk in shower)

*Please note that the lift operation is not in our control occasionally it requires servicing /maintenance Time taken for this to be completed is up to the lift company although maintenance is usually completed within the hour.
