The Mason/Ashcroft Party
Great cottage in an unbeatable location, with views to die for. Whitby great for all generation from 1 to 71. We loved the beach which is great for kids and uncrowded. Whitby Abbey is worth the walk up the hill and the Captain Cook boat trip is fun. We sampled all the simple pleasures - the beach, the pier, the fish and chips, the penny slots and the ice creams. Our favourite pub, The Duke of York, our favourite lunch - The Magpie - get there early! Our favourite meal out was The Marine (for those who like jazz, a real gem).
The Wilks and Petchell Families
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and homely. One of the highlights was enjoying the most stunning sunset from the turret. Loved Whitby Abbey and Robin Hood's Bay. The Captain Cook boat trip proved a fun sea experience for the whole family. And can't beat Whitby's fish and chips!

A truly amazing and special place. Thank you for all your warmth, care and attention. Love the views from all the windows.
Our first visit to this beautiful part of the world. Fell in love with the area - lots of walking and, although it has been foggy and cold, it hasn't put us off! Loved Sandsend - and the goats! - and Runswick Bay a delight. Our time here has been made even more special by staying in this beautiful, comfy house - views from the window are spectacular and we haven't slept so well in a long time -must be all the sea air, exercise and those luxurious beds! We will definitely be back - thank you!
