This immaculate cottage is a must for families and offers many wonderful facilities – a fabulous hot tub and enclosed garden with BBQ, a drying room for swimming costumes or walking gear and a gorgeous farm shop with wonderful Yorkshire produce and gifts – or just sit and enjoy a cream tea! And if you don’t feel like cooking, the local inn serves excellent food.

Such a charming cottage!

The hot tub was amazing and we loved the pretty shop – you can have bacon rolls brought to your cottage for breakfast!

Ground Floor

Enter this lovely cottage into a stone-flagged hallway, which leads to an open plan living room with comfortable seating, a wood burning stove-style electric fire and Smart TV/Blu-Ray DVD player, so you can access your Netflix account!

The dining area is ideal to enjoy meals in comfort, whether planning the day at breakfast or relaxing over dinner discussing the day’s adventures!

The smart and spacious kitchen is very well-equipped; it has a beech wood work surface, a deep Belfast sink, fridge, freezer, electric oven and hob, drinks fridge, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher.

There is a downstairs cloak room/WC.

First Floor

A lovely double bedroom, with 4’6’’ bed and a further Smart TV – snuggle up and watch moves in bed! – has views over the beautiful countryside towards the sea.  There is a twin bedroom with two full size 3’ single beds plus an immaculate bathroom with a bath, shower cubicle, WC and hand wash basin.

The cottage has an enclosed courtyard garden, planted with shrubs and flowers, a stone-built BBQ and seating, to enjoy a morning cuppa as the sun comes up, or cook and eat supper outside under the stars!

There is use of a superb hot tub – perfect for relaxing at the end of the day – with views over rolling countryside towards the sea and Scarborough Castle. A grassed picnic area, bordered by trees, has tables and chairs and views over the neighbouring pastures.

There’s a very useful facility of a drying room with private lockers for airing swimming costumes and beach towels plus a dog shower for washing salt and sand off your pet’s coat. Why not bring your bike? There is a bike storage and maintenance facility, whether you’re dreaming of the Tour de Yorkshire or just fancy a gentle pedal locally!

We absolutely love the wonderful shop selling quality local produce, from cheeses and bread, to deli and savoury snacks, as well as lovely gifts and a cafe to enjoy scones with cream – or bacon sandwiches for breakfast that can be delivered to your cottage!

The nearby inn is excellent and serves very good food if you don’t want to cook – but it’s recommend that you book as it’s popular!
