“We stayed for Christmas week and the owner had put up some decorations to give the place a festive feel which was lovely.”

Cottage is in a great location, just a short walk to the Abbey and the steep steps down to Church Road take you to town and harbour. The kitchen table and TV are on the small side and the living/kitchen area is very small but we liked it. Tastefully decorated with a well equipped kitchen and really comfortable beds and duvets. Whilst we managed to get the last parking space on The Ropery, it is worth bearing in mind that parking is difficult and limited so unless you have a cottage with a space ...

Whilst we managed to get the last parking space on The Ropery, it is worth bearing in mind that parking is difficult and limited so unless you have a cottage with a space then that’s going to be an issue generally when visiting Whitby. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends.
