Layout

GROUND FLOOR

Enter this stunning Georgian house, which has been renovated and furnished to a very high standard, via the rear entrance and a small courtyard – ideal for storing bikes or beach equipment – into a glorious listed building that has been decorated in neutral Farrow and Ball shades.

The entrance hall leads to a TV room/snug with comfortable seating and a large Smart TV – ideal to access your Netflix account and catch up with movies or box sets! – perfect for teenagers to have their own space or for a group of adults, a separate area to sit and read.

The drawing room has beautiful proportions and boasts an open fire – lovely to light, along with the candles and enjoy a cosy night in – plus a chandelier, large television, book library for guests’ use, comfortable seating and views from the elegant, tall sash windows.

The corridor leads to one of the front doors – there’s two – which has an external stone, spiral staircase descending down to the front garden below – which is a sun trap – with mature shrubs and beautiful trees including a gorgeous beech which the sun shines dapple light through its fox red leaves.   A table, chairs and bench provide a lovely spot for relaxing, catching the sun or maybe later in the day, enjoying pre-dinner drinks?

LOWER GROUND FLOOR

Next to the kitchen is a small games room with a football table – always a favourite! – plus there’s a useful WC/cloaks on this floor too.

The corridor, with original tiled floor, leads to the second front door and into the enclosed garden, from which stone steps lead down to the road, accessed via a tall wrought-iron gate.
