Lovely cottage accommodation - well equipped in first class condition.

Easy to get to North Yorks Moors and the coast. Particularly liked the easy access to the quieter routes across The Wolds, an area we had never explored previously.

We've had an amazing week away in Richmond Cottage, a proper home from home.

Well equipped with everything we needed, very comfy king size bed & spotlessly clean throughout. Central location for everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely little village.

The cottage was just perfect in every way, it was immaculately clean, warm and super cosy. Really comfy bed too. Had everything we needed for our 12 night stay. The important thing for us was that it’s dog friendly too. The owners were lovely and friendly people who couldn’t do enough to help. We would definitely recommend this cottage, we will be going back again soon. If we could give more than 10/10 we certainly would.

A wonderful little cottage clean and tidy with everything in, it owners met us when we arrived so friendly and helpful we have stayed here before and the walks have beautiful views and good for dog walking

Had a lovely week here in this spotless, snug and warm cottage.

Very comfortable and Sid our Spanish Greyhound soon made himself at home. Hilary and Alan were very welcoming and friendly and the welcome pack was a lovely extra touch. Thank you, will come back again

The cottage was a home from home, and more.

Lots of really nice touches to make one not only feel at home but also on holiday (art, farm animals, seaside). A good selection of family games. Videos and magazines, books. Very comfortable bed and settees. Very spacious accommodation. The area was peaceful, quiet. Great place to de-stress and relax. Hilary and Alan were perfect, friendly hosts. We highly recommend Langhill holiday cottages (Richmond being the one we stayed in). The cottages have a horsey twist history!

We've been a few times so that should be an indication of how good the bungalow is and what a caring couple Hillary and Alan are.

Burythorpe is both delightful and tranquil yet close enough to Malton for all your needs, this is a perfect base for exploring North and East Yorkshire.

The cottage really felt like home from home.

It was a lovely, well-equipped place, which was appreciated my friend and I as we tend to cook a fair bit. We have stayed in many self-catering properties and this is one of our favourites. If we return to the NYM, we will definitely stay there again.

Hilary was lovely when we got to speak to her. One of the best cottages we have stayed in and not unreasonably priced either. We had a very comfortable stay and it was good to have a parking space directly by the door, this is not always the case on holiday let’s. Thank you Hilary and Alan.

Excellent accommodation , sparkling clean , every attention to detail and so many small touches to make this an amazing anniversary break away .

Hilary and Alan are superb hosts and extremely helpful . We had our two labradors with us and they were equally made welcome . The local pub is a must visit but save room as the portions are very generous !!! Hoping to visit again next year .

The holiday cottage was comfortable and very well appointed.

The cleanliness and homeliness of the cottage shows that the Owners really care about providing a great stay for the guests. The Owners went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay, were very helpful and were very attentive to our requests.

This is a lovely comfy cottage.

Spotlessly clean and fitted out with everything you could possibly want. The owners live on site if you need anything but we did not have to bother them. The power shower is super and the beds very comfortable. One is a king size and the other is a single in the same room - all on one level which was great for us and the dog. Parking right outside front door in communal courtyard. There is plenty of outside seating and tables if you want to use them. The owners left a lot of little "extras" for us which we really appreciated. Lots of pubs in the area for eating out. Very quiet area away from hustle. Good hotel next door where we walked to for an evening drink with the dog - you could eat there if you wanted.

I can highly recommend Richmond Cottage, it was excellent.

Really comfortable king sized bed and spacious bathroom with powerful shower. Lounge is a good size with two sofas. Great location for visiting Scarborough, Whitby, Pickering, Malton etc.

Just returned from a relaxing 6 night stay at the cottage.

First impressions were very clean and well equipped. Mr and Mrs Chapman the owners were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Obviously take a great pride in there properties. The cottage is ideally situated in a lovely village with a great pub that is well worth a visit as the food is great and the beer is cheap!!!. All in all a great stay with the batteries recharged. Won't stay at the propert again because we never stay at the same place twice, the world is too big a place for that but I would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to friends and family to stay. All in all a very welcoming and homely property.

I have been coming to Langhill Cottages for the past 10 years.

So it must be better than good. Great place to stay, great hosts, great Pub nearby....5 stars.

This holiday cottage was a relaxing getaway for my Sister and I.

We've been twice now and definitely will visit again. The owners could not do enough for their guests. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is in the country but close enough to visit the market town of Malton and the surrounding tourist attractions. We can't recommend it enough !!

Perfect location for attractions. Hilary and Alan were very friendly. Available if required and came and said hello but not intrusive. Cottage was well equipped with an added touch of milk and hospitality tray which was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic time there is lots to do and see and information on days out provided by owners was very helpful. We had a lovely stay at Richmond Cottage, the location was central to many places to visit and the cottage had everything we needed.

There was absolutely nothing to fault at all and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. It was also very spacious for a 1 bedroom cottage.

Clean, quiet, friendly owners, a great pub nearby. Good value . Troodos, Dutch Blues or Richmond.

Great location for visiting a variety of activities.

The sat nav misleads people indicating them to turn left on arrival, by turning left you will end up at the Battlefield Stud.

Langhill Cottages are sign posted on the right side. Enjoyed every minute there and the people in the village are very friendly.Will be returning.

Richmond Cottage was nice and quiet and lovely and warm when we walked in on a coolish day.

Set out just like home and very comfortable, everything you could need. If we ever go back to Yorkshire I would book here again.

Richmond Cottage is a very homely place and extremely clean and comfortable.

The rooms are a good size and no noise from neighbours on either side. Hilary and Alan were very friendly when we met but did not intrude at all. The fresh laid eggs were a bonus, thank you! We had our dog with us but did not find the lack of a garden a problem as the property is set back from the road. We would stay again as we liked the area and would also recommend it. Thank you for thinking of everything and making such a relaxing stay.

Richmond Cottage in Burythorpe was superb in every way, fantastic setting.

beautifully clean and well equipped, pretty and so, so comfortable. Much thought has been given to make it "home from home". Hilary and Alan are so friendly, helpful and really lovely people. My dogs had all of their home comforts, lovely walks in the area and settled immediately in a very spacious lounge. I will highly recommend to all of my family and friends, the best cottage we have ever stayed in and plan to visit in the future. Anne Kitching

A lovely place to stay the owners have made it home from home with lots of extras you don't get elsewhere including A pint of milk in the fridge for your much needed cuppa when you arrive.

We were made very welcome by the owners with nothing being too much trouble .
