Halloween Events on the Yorkshire Coast: 2026 Guide

The autumn edition of Whitby Goth Weekend takes place from 30th October to 1st November 2026, bringing visitors together for live music, alternative shopping, unique costumes and a wonderfully spooky atmosphere throughout the town.

If you’re visiting Scarborough during October, look out for Halloween events at Scarborough North Bay Railway. The Hallowscream Express runs from 28th to 31st October 2026, offering evening train rides with a spooky Halloween theme.

The railway is also running a Pumpkin Trail from 24th October to 1st November, giving families another seasonal activity to enjoy during the half-term break.

Combined with Scarborough’s beaches, amusements and family attractions, it makes a fun addition to an autumn break on the Yorkshire Coast.
