“Beautiful house, perfect location – a wonderful family stay!”

We’ve just returned from a fantastic week away with family, and this house was the perfect setting for it. It’s absolutely beautiful – spacious, stylish, and incredibly well-equipped. We’ve just returned from a fantastic week away with family, and this house was the perfect setting for it. It’s absolutely beautiful – spacious, stylish, and incredibly well-equipped. The location couldn’t be better: just a 15-minute walk to the main high street, with lots of great shops, bars, and places to eat. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and there are lovely parks, gardens, and stunning viewpoints just around the corner. The house itself is very impressive – the entrance hall is grand and welcoming, the living room is cosy with a huge, comfy sofa, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need for a big group. With 7 spacious bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 6 toilets, it really caters well to large families or groups. We were also lucky to have some gorgeous weather, so we really enjoyed the lovely back garden. Just a few small things that could make the stay even more perfect: Rubbish – The outside bins were already partly full when we arrived and weren’t collected during our stay, which made managing a week’s worth of rubbish for 15 people a bit tricky. It might be helpful to have a bit more guidance or an interim solution for waste storage. TVs and remotes – Some of the TVs were a little temperamental, with a few remote issues, but this wasn’t a big deal for us as we were mostly out and about enjoying the area. Parking – While parking isn’t the owner's responsibility, it can be a bit of a challenge in the area. That said, the owners do provide permits and clear instructions, which was really helpful and gave us plenty of options. Hot tub – We didn’t use it much, mainly because it didn’t feel particularly clean on arrival and after a few uses it wasn’t very inviting. Perhaps providing some basic cleaning products and instructions for a mid-week refresh would be a helpful addition – we’ve seen this done in other places and it’s worked really well. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would absolutely return. The house is stunning, the location is unbeatable, and it was the perfect base for a fun and memorable family holiday!

Thank you very much for the feedback shared and so pleased the location was perfect for you and you had a wonderful stay. The location is very special and it’s always great when this is recognised. In terms of the bins, we have weekly collection in place, and the cleaning team did advise that the bins were emptied but we apologise if on this occasion you found them to be partly full. In summer when we have back-to-back lovely clients enjoying the property we do add additional collections when needed and if clients let us know during the stay this is normally arranged within 24 hours. Please do not let this put you off coming to visit again. Also, in terms of the hot tub again if informed during the stay we are happy to do a call out to remedy any issue. Our cleaning team are great and very responsive when issues are raised. Parking we have never been advised of this being an issue with free parking next to the property and permits provided. We do provide a map to help and hope this was not too challenging for you but thank you for the share. We are so pleased you found the house to be stunning, a perfect base and provided you with a wonderful stay. All we ask is that you come and visit us again real soon! Property Owner
