The listing information is incorrect and needs updating.

There is no cloakroom as advertised on the lower level: "A handy cloakroom with basin and WC is also on this level." There is only one bathroom; the other is just a WC. Both are upstairs. This was disappointing when our party consisted of seven people, aged from 4 to 83 years. There is no access to the locked outside storage. The kitchen equipment is also poor if you want to self-cater to any degree. There is a large fridge and a good microwave/air fryer, but no basic supplies such as jugs, bowls, whisks, sieves or a colander. The freezer in the conservatory was working overtime in the hot weather and would be better swapped with the practically empty set of drawers in the kitchen that the microwave stands on. Only one thin, old tea towel was provided. The fly controllers are not sufficient; a fly swat would help. Good points: the property was comfortable and clean enough, the new fence at the front makes the garden child- and dog-friendly, the washer/drier and dishwasher were appreciated, the views were fabulous, and the toys for children were appreciated. These comments are meant as useful feedback, not criticism. We had a lovely holiday and the children didn't want to leave. P.S. The beach is great, but the path down is very steep.

Great Position and Wonderful views.

Not a great start as was very disappointed to find no 2nd bathroom and no downstairs cloakroom as advertised by Sykes.It made it so difficult for a party of 6. The property could really do with a thorough clean including some of the equipment, I could give many examples but the coffee machine milk holder and dispenser was a health hazard. Some of the pillowcases were stained and the cushion in one of the lounge chairs was dirty.The telescope was broken.One of the mattresses in the twin room should be swapped as hard and lumpy. The property would benefit with more mirrors.

Location was great but cleanliness was dire.

On arrival we had to dust hoover and clean up rooms and crockery ourselves. Dust dog hairs(in clumps) and debris. The owner was contacted and cleaner came ‘back’ from another job having supposedly done their property first. She blamed a new cleaner but owner said she was the only one. She didn’t want to be there didn’t do much even though we were helping her by hoovering and dusting and she left without telling us whilst we were still cleaning. Having put kitchen utensils in the dishwasher for 3 hours. Rendering them useless to us. Luckily we had disposable ones. She also said certain things were ‘not her job’. Like microwave oven and toaster which we didn’t use as it was obviously not clean. We cleaned the microwave and fridge so we could use them There was also food from previous let. We were told it was a courtesy. We ended up leaving it as it was opened anyway. Overall the location was amazing the area great. But cleaning standards left a lot to be desired. Wouldn’t stay again sorry.
