Willow Waterside Spa is a stylish lodge situated in the countryside on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park near Thirsk, Yorkshire.
Boasting a contemporary interior, this retreat offers an on-site car park with EV charging, making it an ideal getaway for families or groups of friends seeking a serene escape.
Upon entering this single-storey lodge, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan area, where you can unwind on the inviting seating while watching your favourite shows on the Smart TV, complete with USB connections.
The kitchen area is fully-equipped with an oven, hob, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, and toaster, perfect for preparing home-cooked meals to be enjoyed at the dining seating area.
The lodge boasts three well-presented bedrooms, a double with an elegant en-suite featuring a basin, and WC, and two twin rooms, providing ample space for all guests.
A family bathroom, complete with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC, is also available for your convenience.
For those who require it, a hairdryer and vacuum cleaner can be provided upon request.
Step outside onto the decking, where you can relax on the provided furniture and soak in the hot tub, making the most of this tranquil setting.

We were a party of 5 adults in the Willow Lodge.
We had a fantastic weekend and really enjoyed it. Overall, we gave it 5/5 because we had a great time, it had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable, we loved the hot tub, and there were a lot of good facilities on the park that we didn't get chance to use as we were so busy, e.g. the pool. However, to help others make their best choices, there were a few things that niggled. Firstly, the photographs make it look bigger than it was. I would describe it as much cosier. I would say it is perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 or even 4 children. However, although sold as a 6 berth, it was tight for 5 adults. There were only 4 chairs around the inside and outside tables. There was just room for the small pouffe squeezed at the end of the indoor table, but it would have been impossible for 6. Likewise, the 3rd bedroom was tiny and even 2 children would only just fit. The other negative was parking. There is no parking near the lodge and the nearest car parks were full, so it was a drop-off and drive-around scenario. There is plenty of parking, but be prepared for a short walk from the lodge. A few points to be aware of, but I would definitely visit again and choose a bigger lodge.

In the interests of your safety, we have to carry out maintenance procedures and water checks/changes to our hot tubs after each holiday break. This may result in your hot tub not being at optimum temperature on the first night of your holiday.
