Apartment very clean and had everything we needed and perfect location for us as travelling by train.

Also very central for shops/cafe's/pubs/park. Had a very enjoyable stay here and would definitely stay again when next in Whitby.

Station View is lovely.

The place is clean and modern. It has a 'homely' feel to it and on the nights we stayed in, it felt cosy and warm. It is in a great location and is near to the beautiful shops and eateries that Whitby has to offer. All really lovely, thank you.

Fantastic base - well located.

Clean and well presented. Had everything we needed - including some character! Lovely little property. We were two adults, two teenagers and a dog and it was perfect for our short break. Would recommend to others.

The location was perfect, opposite the train station.

Everything was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have TVs in the bedrooms too. The owner was great.

The cottage is well located with everything in Whitby on your doorstep.

The host Chris was lovely and shared lots of information regarding the local area and free parking (not close to the property) but within walking distance. Everything you could need was within the property and it was great that bedding and towels were provided. Chris was helpful sorting out the TV set up and it was good to know he owned the pet shop downstairs incase we needed him for anything. Although the property is ‘pet friendly’ it is worth noting there isn’t a garden or secure area for a dog to go out. This wasn’t a problem for us as we enjoyed a late night walk with our dog. It could be an issue for people on their own or those easily intimidated by the local homeless people and youths that were drinking and very loud in the local bus area opposite the property. The smoke alarm is very sensitive! Twice it went off just from cooking breakfast, even though no sausages were burned! It would be helpful to mention in the listing that the property would not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to all of the stairs. I feel the cottage could do with a deep clean as there were areas that were extremely dusty, especially skirting boards. We had to push the coffee table back and found food under it from previous guests. The oven wasn’t very clean either and the tray in the oven had sauce on it from previous guests. It just needs a really good clean. Also the cleaner left the vacuum full of dirt, dust and hair which was quite off putting. Ideally it should be emptied after every use. On the whole the cottage is great, just needs a little TLC.

Lovely flat very homely and every thing you could possibly need is there ,in a great spot for everything in whitby, we will definitely go back again.

I had a brilliant holiday at Station View Chris the host was very welcoming,friendly and helpful and gave me lots of info on what to do and where to go The accomodation was immaculate in every way I would definitely recommend the property Judy

Coffee machine still wasn't replaced, it was leaking when used last year and this year it was the same.

We had difficulty working out the heater could do with more information on how/when it comes on/off

Was ideal for us as we arrived by train, was just across the road from station, everything near the cottage, cottage was amazing had everything you needed and more,would definitely recommend to family and friends, and hopefully return ourselves Met the owner Chris a few times and he was very helpful

Great apartment in a really good location.

No curtains fitted only vertical blinds. These block almost none of the light coming in so would recommend some sort of eye mask for sleeping. The weather was great whilst we were there. We had to open the windows as it was so warm. Unfortunately the gulls squark all night so would also recommend ear plugs. Other than those issues (which aren’t really within the owners ability to control) we had a great time.

Convenient for everything you need from a seaside holiday

Really enjoyed our stay at the station view the king size bed was lovely and comfortable, but unfortunately my son found the single beds in the 2nd bedroom a bit hard and didn’t sleep well .

We left on Friday morning instead of Saturday but that was for family reasons. Though I did get pooped on by a seagull before I left and that’s never happened before

We realised the positioning was very close to the bus station, but did not appreciate its impact.

It's virtually just over the road. The parked buses invariably left their engines running, so noise an issue, certainly could not have a open window and a conversation at the same time, I expect in summer this issue would be worse. To move around in the property you had to negotiate 2.5 sets of full stairs, this would be an issue for a lot of people. It has no parking, with double yellow lines outside the access, so loading / unloading was an issue. It is very central, with pubs, takeaways, restaurants, coffee shops, bakery at easy reach and close to the harbour, so your in the thick of a busy beautiful seaside resort.

very friendly owner. the town just outside the door. straight of the bus cross the road then you are in your apartment. would be nice to have another smaller table in the lounge. will book again.

Excellent accommodation exceedingly clean and well located for shops pub’s restaurants etc met the owner Chris outside his shop nearby who kindly guided us to the premises and also helpfully even carried our case up to the apartment We can highly recommend this property Maureen,Alan and little Sophie our dog

So easy from the train station or bus route. The flat is all new internally, its clear to see that time and effort has been spent on it, so no issues.

Long weekend away!

We've been coming to Whitby over 20 years now and stayed at this apartment before but the change since we last stayed her is amazing. We found it very comfortable, well equipped, even a coffee machine! We loved our stay and will be back soon.
