Don't micro pack! but the owners seem to think a dishwasher and clean pots takes priority to clean clothes very odd. The other bit of a disappointment is that there is no mattress on the main bed it was a giant piece of foam and was extremely uncomfortable! I would have expected a proper mattress. I wouldn't choose to stay here again for those reasons.
Your booking was made 13 months prior to the stay and so if the washing machine was a necessity to your stay then you had over 1 year to check whether the facilities suited your requirements ,rather than waiting until you arrived at the cottage. Also a washing machine is not listed on the itinerary on the Sykes listing.
The mattress is a new memory foam mattress which many guests have commented on how comfortable it is.
