    “I stayed in the cottage with my two young sons and our dog and we had the most wonderful time.”

    The children absolutely loved it and were so upset to go home. The pool is wonderful and we went in every day. The views are stunning. The grounds are lovely and we were made to feel so welcome and at home. We loved visiting the goats. The cottage was comfortable and spacious with a good layout and there is plenty to do in the area with children and dogs. We visited Woldies and Eden camp and had a day at the seaside too. There’s also flamingo land close by. Thank you so much for an amazing ...

This dog-friendly apartment makes a great base for a family to explore the beauty of North Yorkshire, with the historic city of York and the sandy coast within easy reach.

Head up the internal stairs to begin enjoying your apartment; rustle up an evening meal in the kitchen to enjoy round the table as you plan some excellent holiday fun, or relax on the sofa after a long day of walking.

When the evening draws to a close, head to one of the wonderful bedrooms; a double or a twin, which are complimented by bathroom so guests can soak their muscles.

Outside there is ample off-road parking for guests, a private courtyard which is safely enclosed for your dogs and a great spot for a glass of wine under the stars, whilst guests also have access to a communal lawn and a superb indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi.

RILLINGTON

Malton 4.7 miles; Scarborough 18.5 miles; York 23 miles.

Rillington is a small village and civil parish located on the A64 road in North Yorkshire, with easy links to the historical city of York and the bustling coastal town of Scarborough. Rillington was mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Survey and is now home to a Post Office, two pubs, The Coach and Horses and The Fleece, and a church. The rural community was developed many years ago due to the presence of fertile soil and the village is still home to an active farming community. Nearby attractions include the Scampton Walled Garden, a contemporary garden open for visitors throughout the year, and the Wolds Way Lavender, a lavender farm and visitor centre. Further afield into the city of York, you can discover the incredible York Minster and grand city walls. Heading towards the coast, the seaside towns of Filey and Scarborough offer a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as gorgeous promenades, water sports and golden sandy beaches.
