    “Dirty floors and table cloths.”

No bags in bins. Cleaners not completed tasks when we got there and didn't know we would be there. All plants dying as not tended to. Outside furniture not covered even though covers were left on ground. Internet went off so left 2 days early as this was last straw. Milk jug not washed. Sugar bowl caked. Coffee machine dirty. Maintenance people letting the owner down. Fridge stunk of off milk. Empty air fresheners. Old dirty Tissues left at back of headboard. Spider webs and spiders in kitchen ...

Kitchen tap totally unstable in mounting. Disappointed. I can send photos.

About the location

SANDSEND

Whitby 2.5 miles.

Lying on Yorkshire's spectacular Heritage Coastline, Sandsend is the ideal place for a family holiday with its award winning, wide sweeping beaches, rock pools and dramatic cliffs. Indeed this part of the coastline is known locally as the Dinosaur Coast because of the many fossils found here. Children will enjoy damming the little beck where it crosses the beach to form a freshwater lagoon - great (and safe) for paddling and boating! For the more energetic the village sits on the lovely long distance Cleveland Way Trail, which offers great off-road cycling along the disused coastal railway as well as breathtaking clifftop walks. The National Trust now own the nearby headland, Sandsend Ness, where there is a delightful nature trail in the old quarry pits. A special place offering something for everyone!
