Daffodil Cottage is situated just outside the quiet village of South Newbald right at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds. It offers easy access to the Wolds Way and cycling routes, just a short walk up the hill there are breathtaking views over the vale of York. If you don't feel like cooking there are 2 pubs within walking distance, both serving excellent food and fine ales. Fine dining is highly recommended at The Star in Sancton, only 2.5 miles away. Daffodil Cottage is an excellent base for exploring the historic City of York, the City of Hull with its museum quarter and The Deep, the market town of Beverley plus the coastal seaside resorts. Stately homes of great interest include Castle Howard, Burton Constable, Burton Agnes and Sledmere and are all within easy reach.
