Pull up in the off-road parking spaces and make your way towards the attractive brick-built cottage, where potted plants create a warm welcome before you step inside.

Enter the open-plan living space, thoughtfully arranged for spending quality time together, whether you're returning from a day of sightseeing or enjoying a slower afternoon indoors.

Sink into the sofa or one of the armchairs with your latest read, admire the carefully chosen artwork decorating the walls, or switch on the TV as the evening settles in, while the dining table with bench seating provides a lovely place to share home-cooked meals and make plans for tomorrow.

From here, wander into the stylish kitchen, where rich blue cupboards, wooden worktops, and tasteful decorative touches create an inviting place to cook.

Settle at the breakfast bar with a fresh cup of coffee before preparing anything from a hearty breakfast to a family favourite using the electric oven and hob.

A fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, and washing machine ensure every stay is as effortless as possible, whether you're rinsing off after a coastal adventure or stocking up on local produce.

When sleep calls, choose between two bright and comfortable bedrooms, including a flexible king-size room that can be arranged as twins on request, alongside a welcoming double bedroom complete with its own TV for lingering beneath the covers on relaxed mornings.

Completing the interior is a beautifully finished bathroom, where sleek fittings and elegant gold accents create a lovely space to soak in the bath or enjoy a refreshing shower before another day of exploring.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden offers a peaceful place to begin or end the day.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio as the village slowly wakes, or unwind with a chilled drink in the evening before wandering to the nearby pub for a satisfying meal.

Afterwards, take a gentle stroll to the village duck pond, where the tranquil setting provides a lovely way to end the day.

Lace up your walking boots and set off to discover the Yorkshire Wolds, following rolling hills, peaceful country lanes, and scenic sections of the Yorkshire Wolds Way with beautiful countryside stretching into the distance.

Spend time in Beverley exploring the magnificent Minster, browsing independent shops, and stopping at welcoming cafés, or venture to the coast to discover the sandy beaches of Filey and Hunmanby Gap, stroll the promenade at Bridlington, admire the striking cliffs of Flamborough Head, and watch thousands of seabirds gather at Bempton Cliffs during nesting season.

Continue your adventures with a visit to Burton Agnes Hall and its beautiful gardens and woodland walks, explore the impressive grounds of Sledmere House, enjoy the attractions at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, or spend the afternoon wandering the grand parkland surrounding Castle Howard.

For those with an interest in local heritage, the nearby monument marks the spot where the famous Wold Newton meteorite landed in the late eighteenth century.
