    “Received a warm welcome from Andrew and Sue on arrival.”

    The cottage is everything you could ask for, warm clean, comfortable and ideal holiday retreat. Everything you could need was provided including tea, coffee sugar,milk cold water in the fridge and a fantastic breakfast pack. There was also fresh bread and butter and a lovely pack of biscuits. Based in Malton it was an ideal base for accessing all the attractions and places to visit in North Yorkshire. There was also 2 pubs local serving meals and were dog friendly as was the cottage and our ...

Based in Malton it was an ideal base for accessing all the attractions and places to visit in North Yorkshire. There was also 2 pubs local serving meals and were dog friendly as was the cottage and our little Olive received a warm welcome from our host. Would recommend this accommodation 100 per cent to anyone interested and would not hesitate to return there ourselves . Thank you Andrew and Sue

MALTON

York 18 miles; Scarborough 24 miles.

The market town of Malton has been the historic centre of Ryedale since Roman times, and has many interesting buildings including the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. A weekly general market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers’ markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it excellent countryside for walkers and cyclists. The impressive coastline is just 24 miles away, whilst the historic city of York is an 18 mile journey. A perfect base for touring the attractions of North Yorkshire.
