“Had a lovely holiday at Boundcliffe Farm.”
We were a family group of 7 with ages from 21 to 88. My parents struggled with the stairs, one staircase had no handrail, but we managed with this. My only negative is that the property is listed as having 3 bathrooms but there are only 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet.
The hosts are lovely, they live next door and are there for anything you might need but are not at all intrusive. Before I arrived I contacted Mr Watson to ask if he knew where I could hire a wheelchair for my mother and he borrowed one from a friend for us. This was a great help, thank you.
The cottage is very warm and cosy with everything you could need on holiday. The kitchen is very well stocked and there were lots of cleaning products left, plus washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing powder. There were lots of towels and also spare towels in a cupboard which is handy for a large family. The games room was great and there were numerous board games.
We found the cottage very clean and welcoming.
