“Hi, we had an enjoyable stay however the boiler was an issue.”

We had to reset the boiler several times a day , sometimes the hot water ran out whilst mid shower also . It looked to be an ongoing issue as there was a note on the door , however this needs sorting. Apart from that it was a nice home from home. The settee dipped in the middle making it uncomfortable and this was pointed out to the cleaner . The settee dipped in the middle making it uncomfortable and this was pointed out to the cleaner . I also think the term lodge is a bit misleading as it is Infact a caravan and not a lodge , but is surrounded by lodges of composite plastic type . The site was clean but lacked dog poo bins which I was told by a resident they are addressing. There was very noisy building work at the back two out of the three days we were there which started at 8.30 am which we weren’t made aware of and spoiled any chance of a lay in. I hope these points are took on board . However overall 7/10

hi glad you enjoyed your stay apart from the few issues you had. The boiler works like a combi boiler which can run out of hot water if left on for a length of time it may also be cold until the hot water gets down the pipes. Sometimes you may need to press the restart button if the boiler has switched off which is a 5 second job the notice is there to help people not because there's an issue.Whether you stayed in a Lodge or a caravan you need to take up with the manufacturer who sold this holiday home as a lodge. The building work was an emergency and I believe the site manager apologised for the inconvenience. The normal bins are able to accommodate dog poo so there is somewhere to dispose of it correctly. The sofa/bed settee was a readjusted by the cleaner due to the mechanism slipping underneath. Thanks for your feedback we endeavour to ensure people enjoy there holiday. Property Owner

How reviews work
