“Took the term self catering to the limit.”
The welcome pack was 2 tea bags, 2 tubes of milk, 1/2 jey cloth and an inch of fairy liquid. The plates and cutlery and cooking utensils are adequate ,just. The smoke detector in the bedroom flashed all night and the one in the lounge did not flash at all. When I asked for it to be checked I was told it worked. The first night I did not sleep at all. The seaview is awesome and the people and restaurants in Brid made up for our disappointment.
Thank you for your review, and im sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the apartment.
It is true that we leave you a couple of tea bags as a welcome drink.
The J-cloths that we leave are full sized, along with a green scourer, and tea towel.
It does sound as though your washing up liquid should have been replaced - we would have been happy to do this for you had you brought it to our attention during your stay.
As we explained to you, the fire alarm sensors have a faint flashing light. All modern fire systems do. It has never been a problem for any guest before or since your stay.
Our alarm systems are inspected weekly and are fully serviced every 6 months. The detector in the lounge does flash, and is in full working order.
Being on the sea front overlooking the beach, the balcony can be windy. It is the perfect spot to watch the bright orange sun rise over the sea, and enjoy sunshine all day long, until around 1pm.
