“We absolutely loved our stay at Christlow, we were expecting a washer as it was in the picture but not description, we didn't need it anyway, the weather was fantastic for winter.”
We walk a lot the washer was just for those hikes where you're saturated. Had great walks as there are plenty without the need to jump in the car. The place was lovely & clean, comfortable bed, lots of towels, gorgeous large bathroom with piping hot water for a soak after a hike. The heating was spot on so hot turned it down or up depending on the temperature outside. The log fire was so cosy, so warm & starter logs, sticks, etc to start. We cooked a roast Duck& all the trimmings on NYD, the oven was great plenty of shelves & easy to use. Lots & lots of storage for walking boots, ruck sacks, coats etc. Upstairs again plenty of storage, thought gone into ladies who want to dry their hair a dressing table with a mirror & hairdryer if you didn't want to take your own, you'd be surprised if I told how many stays where I haven't been able to dry my hair as no plug point near or mirror, we take an extension cable for that reason but not needed at Christlow, we did say they've thought of everything. The sofa and cuddle chair, so comfortable, love a wooden floor, so hygienic, and the location was central for everything. Great value for money.
