Fisherman's Watch is a clean and warm apartment with lovely views of the sea and not too far from the harbour for someone with good mobility.
There was no welcome folder in the flat with instructions on how to operate the appliances. We worked it all out between us though. Staff onsite on the day of our departure were all warm and friendly, even helping Mum with getting our bags out to the car. Be prepared for lots of heavy fire doors throughout the building. This is understandable, but makes entering and leaving harder work if you're less than able bodied. All in all good accommodation - warm, clean, comfortable and ideally suited for the seafront - particularly for the price we paid. Thank you for a lovely few days.
I stayed here for three nights with my family in September 2026, it was clean and tidy well maintained.
It is a short walking distance from the amenities, lovely views from all the rooms. The communication was excellent from when booking and till the end of our stay, i would stay here again.
The apartment was in a great location with great views.
The lift was out of order a lot and, being on the third floor, it meant quite a walk up the stairs. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and had the basics, but some items were missing, which made cooking more difficult than expected. The freezer door was broken and would not stay closed, and the fridge was either too warm or, when turned down, froze our food. The smoke alarm going off just before midnight wasn't ideal, especially with young children, as the whole building had to be evacuated. Otherwise, we had a great time away.
