The lift was out of order a lot and, being on the third floor, it meant quite a walk up the stairs.
The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and had the basics, but some items were missing, which made cooking more difficult than expected. The freezer door was broken and would not stay closed, and the fridge was either too warm or, when turned down, froze our food.
The smoke alarm going off just before midnight wasn't ideal, especially with young children, as the whole building had to be evacuated.
Otherwise, we had a great time away.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The lift in the building works without issue. There is a small key on your set of apartment keys with operates the key on the apartment level (this is just to stop children messing around in the lift unsupervised). Once you use the key, the lift will come up to your apartment level.
The fire alarm system in the property can be triggered if someone burns food or smokes/vapes in the apartments etc. It has to go off as a matter of safety for all of our guests. I would not say it goes off often, it has been triggered once in the last 3 months, I appreciate that this was in the time that you stayed, and I am sorry for its inconvenience.
