Perched in the village of Briggswath near Sleights in North Yorkshire, is this lovely two-bedroom cottage, Ramblers Cottage.

Enjoying a fantastic location just moment’s away from the rolling hills and moors of the North York Moors National Park, and the beautiful sands of Whitby Beach, Ramblers Cottage is an excellent dwelling for couples or a family of four who are looking for the perfect blend of coast and country.

Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, where you can look forward to rustling up tasty home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, which features a handy washing machine for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh.

Settle down at the dining table for four to tuck-in to a delicious meal, as you make plans for the days ahead.

After a hearty meal, retire to the plush sofa to curl up with your favourite tipple and select a much-loved show from the TV, as the woodburning stove crackles nearby.

Climb the stairs to the first floor, where you can indulge in a refreshing rinse in the shower, before choosing from one of two well-appointed bedrooms, a double and a twin, to catch your rest in.

Sleights is ideal for both a coastal and country holiday. Just 4 miles from the picturesque Yorkshire coastline, it is also on the edge of the dramatic North Yorkshire moors country, littered with attractive villages and scenery, which is very popular with walkers and cyclists. Though quiet, Sleights boasts a pub, a fish and chip shop, an antique shop, a butcher's, a bakery, a hairdressers, a Post Office within a Spar shop. The North Yorkshire Steam Railway terminus is a few minutes’ drive with steam trains coming through Sleights, together with regular public transport to and from the nearby port of Whitby. Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire.
