A very pleasant cottage, both comfortable and well situated for all the attractions of Filey and the Yorkshire coast.

Lovely place, very clean.

Super location, we enjoyed our stay very much. Nice to have milk in the fridge, and some biscuits waiting for us.

Lovely property and great location, highly recommend for an escape to the beach.

Parking was a bit of a problem but the property doesn’t have its own parking space and the streets around were all busy at the weekends. Great location though in the centre of town. Really enjoyed our holiday in lovely Filey

We have stayed at Sea Breakers cottage several times and going back in September.

It was nice to see new outdoor furniture and pretty plant pots, the bathroom has had a makeover and new stair carpet. The heating was on low in the morning and evening which was appreciated as it's still a little cold at those times. We love the location as it's close to everything we need, town centre, beach shops pubs etc

Great location for beach and park walks and all the facilities of Filey. This was our 6th visit so that says it all!

ice cottage, everything you need, close to all the amenities and a nice pub round the corner, parking is a bit of a pain, getting near the cottage to unload the car, should be mentioned on website then at least you know, as the cars near it never seemed to move at all

Great place to stay, close to the town centre but quiet.

The only drawback is parking. The house doesn't have it's own parking and over the years it has become harder to find a space. Not the owner's fault but, it does need bearing in mind.

Another lovely stay and yes we will be back again.

Homely and comfortable it has everything you could possibly need. Such a great location. Locals are so friendly. Parking some days is a little challenging but does not put us off. Food locally is fab. Dicky Bees and Monsoon especially. Piebald Inn for pies. Thank you so much.

Posatives Very comfortable property.

Very clean and warm, owners had set heating for our arrival. Tesco only a few hundred away. Property very central to everything Owners text us to say property was ready. Property close to beach and county park. Owners had left milk,cookie's. Property was well supplied with everything toilet rolls cleaning products, Tea towels,bath towels,bedding. Negatives Parking facilities poor. Staircarpet needs replacing, gripper was showing and dangerous had to cover. Living room rug needs replacing,very dirty. Mould in several places, bathroom ceiling was bad.This was particularly bad do to me having fibrosis of lungs.The one rule with this disease is no mold. Living room near window and some wall paper starting to come away in places.

Fantastic cottage, very well equipped kitchen, nice and warm and comfy.

Its position is wonderful, five minutes to the beach, the country park and the town. Loved Filey, my new favourite destination. The water in the shower and bath could have been hotter - a minor quibble really, and I'm sure that can be sorted out.

This is the second time we have stayed here, great location, clean and comfortable.

A lovely cottage. The only problem we have found is the parking, everything else is fine.

We have stayed at Sea Breakers cottage several times because we love the location.

It is only minutes to walk to the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. It is convenient having the grassed area at the front for first and last doggy toilet needs. The furniture and decoration is basic but cottage is well equipped and the outdoor area at the back is clean and tidy and has furniture to sit out if weather allows.

We had a wonderful holiday at this cottage .

Sea Breakers Cottage was warm and cosy - even on the coldest of days.

The owners provided tea/coffee milk and biscuits, which was a lovely touch. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. The walk down to the beach was easy (a little harder coming back up!) and the beach itself was wonderful! Easy access to the country park and cliffs too.

Everything we needed was supplied, it was comfortable and warm. Excellent location, 5 minutes to the beach, town and supermarket.

Lovely little cottage in Filey .

Central location town and beach a few minutes walk. Cottage had everything you need and owner left milk tea and biscuits which was lovely on arrival. Parking you park on nearby streets which in November was not a problem.

a nice touch by the owner was a complementary box of cookies and a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Seabreakers cottage and Filey.

Our stay at Sea Breakers cottage was very enjoyable.

The cottage is clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped. The location is great being just a short walk to the beach, town centre and the country park which is great for walking dogs. I would definitely recommend Sea Breaker Cottage and wouldn't hesitate in returning in the future.

The cottage is small but really well equipped and presented and the location is ideal for the beach and cliffs.

Parking was tricky at the weekend but no problem as long as you don’t mind a few mins walk to the car if coming back at busy times. Filey is a great town for a break.

The cottage is situated in a quiet location in the centre of Filey.

It is a lovely cosy cottage equipped with all you need for your holiday. I would definitely recommend it and hope to return soon

This is a lovely place to stay and so near to everything.

The cottage is very clean and warm . I would definitely stay here again . There is no parking at the property but plenty of street parking when I stayed in March. The only thing I would have liked is a large pouffe perhaps to stretch onto as the sofas are tiny. Would have been nice at night to relax .

This is the first time that we have stayed in this cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The location is excellent and the cottage has everything you need and more.

Excellent location as only short walk to beach, country park, town and lots of eateries so made for a very relaxing break. Would recommend.

A delightful cottage and prepared perfectly for our visit.

The location is great for all amenities and access down to the promenade and beach. Great area for exercising the dog off a leash five minutes walk away at the country park over the bridge. Pubs, restaurants and takeaways close to hand and the big supermarket in easy walking distance. Filey is a really nice resort, but small, so be prepared for parking issues in the town as it is a magnet for day trippers even late into the season on a pleasant day.

location good for the beach but a bit too hilly for Nan!!! Car parking not great.

The property was spotlessly clean and had a good level of equipment.

The kitchen was very well equipped, however, the baking trays need to be thrown away and new ones bought. The owners had left us some milk and some biscuits which was nice. The area in which the property was situated was very quiet indeed, very peaceful. Parking wasn't a problem for us, although may well be a lot busier in peak holiday times. All in all a very nice property and both my wife and I had a nice, relaxing holiday. Many thanks.

Cosy cottage, well equipped and in a great location, with just a few minutes walk to the beach or the National park.

We come here every year at least once, perfect for our Bassett.

Ideal cottage to experience what Filey has to offer.

The only negative- and it is on the description- is no dedicated parking. Whoever saying that for our duration we were able to park within 50 metres easily roadside. The cottage was both comfortable and clean with everything necessary for the stay. The bedding and beds were very good quality as were the supplied towels. Extras such as washing liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing tablets were also supplied- a real nice touch. Quiet but quirky area within 5 min easy walk to the sand and 3 minutes flat walk to the town centre. We will definitely return

Great cottage ,with everything you would need and found it very comfortable we didnt want for anything and could not fault the position, just so handy for town, beach and great waiks .

Parking easy at this time of year, but problematic in high season.

We had a lovely week-long stay here with two young kids and a baby.

The cottage was very well equipped. Milk in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the beach and the country park down the steps to the left of the house. Even for little legs! The only slight draw back was the lack of private parking although we easily found a spot closeby (and it was October half term!).

The cottage is lovely and comfortable.

Everything you need is provided in the kitchen and the welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits is great. The area around the cottage is very quite. Only negative is the parking. Can't even describe it as on street as the row of houses are set in a small cul de sac. So need to find a space as close as you can.

This cosy little cottage is tucked away from traffic and the hustle and bustle of a seaside town and yet is only a 5 minutes walk away from the town centre and it’s amenities, the country park (for those with dogs) and the beach.

More info about what is provided would have been good.

Such as no oven gloves but you did provide doggy bowls. I left a note telling you that the bathroom window is jammed open. Other than that we really enjoyed the accommodation.

A lovely, cosy cottage in the heart of Filey and within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, pub and beach.

The area was very quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean. The seaside towns of Scarborough and Bridlington not far away either, so plenty to do and see. The cottage was dog friendly and our dog got lots of nice walks in the local country park which is beautiful with a small cafe and also walks along the beach. We also got some warm, sunny weather as well as some rain, so that was a bonus. We will definitely visit again.

It also comes with a small amount of outdoor space which is lovely in good weather The only downside is that if you was to stay at busy times parking could be a problem but you can’t take that away from it We would definitely stay again and recommend to othere

The cottage was lovely, comfortable and had extras eg biscuits, cleaning materials, tea and coffee etc.

Plenty of films, games and books if weather was bad but our weather was glorious. Even a fishing net if you forgot your own. Thank you Sykes.

The cottage was exactly as was described in the holiday particulars, it was very clean and very well equipped.

The location was perfect, not right in the town and just a few minutes walk from the town centre and the sea. It was very quiet and I slept very well as did my little Shih Tzu, we had some lovely walks along the promenade and Crescent Gardens which are both very beautiful. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and a lot of them are dog friendly. The little museum opposite Ebenezer Terrace is well worth a visit and also just across the road is a little café where dogs are very welcome where they serve homemade cakes and various other meals. I did not realise until my last day that there is a country park nearby and also a beautiful St Oswalds church which dates back to the 1800s, all these places are within a few minutes walk. So as you can tell I was very pleased with my holiday and Filey is a lovely little town so I would certainly recommend it to my friends and would visit again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks holiday in this cottage which didn't disappoint. Good location in the town, really peaceful as it is set back from the road. Will definately book again.
