Superb cottage to stay in.

Attention to details and comfort is phenomenal. Bread, milk, jam, butter, coffee & tea all there on arrival. The annex or the Donkey room… woah, a great space to retire with a book or to chill after a nice day out. The cottage really has a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed. Plenty of local amenities on its doorstep and easy walking distance to the local beaches.

Really enjoyed our stay at bluebell cottage ,there were a few essentials like bread milk butter jam,greatfully accepted also cleaning materials and washing tablets for washing machine.

The cottages is very cosy with 2 comfy sofas in the small lounge and a large dining table in the well appointed kitchen, on the first floor was a double and single bedrooms plus a large bathroom whilst in the loft space is large bedroom with a Really sumptuous bed,,very comfortable, in the small enclosed rear yard is an out building which has been tastefully transformed in to a summer room with an attached toilet, a great little holiday cottage in the heart of the village close to all the shops and pubs with parking available outside the house, we really enjoyed our stay at bluebell and would look to return there in the future

This is not the first time we have stayed at Bluebell Cottage, and it won't be the last.

It is a very comfortable cottage with all the facilities we need and is ideally located for a holiday base. Cleanliness is always excellent. Thank you so much. We had a lovely time there.

A lovely clean and comfortable cottage, ideal location for walks along the whole peninsula from North Landing to South Landing, and a 10 minute drive to RSPB Bempton cliffs.

Everything you need in the kitchen and nice comfortable furniture to relax in after a day of walking. Lovely and comfortable king size bed and a really nice bathroom. Also a nice touch with the welcome pack of bread, milk and donuts, thank you. Also easy parking right outside cottage front door, and a nice patio area out the back with a quaint garden room with seating and an extra toilet. Flamborough is a really nice quiet village with the basic amenity’s that you will need (pubs, shop, take-away) We had a great stay, many thanks.

Great place to stay

As soon as we arrived we realised why this gem of a cottage has so many 5 star reviews.

Dog friendly accommodation can sometimes be a bit basic but this place manages to be super warm and homely but also very beautifully decorated and furnished. The ‘donkey’ room is a lovely way to get fresh air even when the weather doesn’t allow you to be outside. Kitchen has everything you need, bathroom huge, beds comfortable, location excellent with lots of opportunities for dog walking and dog friendly pubs. No issues parking all week. We will definitely be back.

The best kitchen! Everything worked and plenty of utensils etc. Very comfy beds and a good shower in bathroom. Fabulous garden room and enclosed courtyard garden for sitting out in privacy and doggy safe. Easy parking right outside on street. A lovely welcome pack too! Owner very helpful if there are any queries. Well placed for visits around the area. Would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bluebell Cottage, the cottage was beautifully furnished with comfortable, modern furniture, a very spacious well equipped kitchen with plenty of seating.

We were lucky enough to have lovely warm weather, so were able to sit outside in the lovely courtyard, there's also a snug little conservatory called The Donkey Room to sit and relax in with comfy furniture, a tv and an extra toilet to save going back in to the house

Well equipped, comfortable cottage.

The summer room is an added bonus. Very close to pubs, shops and an amazing fish and chip shop. We have stayed multiple times and will definitely be back.

A very warm and comfortable holiday home.

Quite spacious, very clean and very accessible. Just a short drive from Sewerby and Bridlington and within easy reach of Filey and Scarborough, it's and ideal quiet location for the east coast adventures. The Seabirds pub is just a 4 minute walk away and serves delicious seafood and other fabulous meals.

Bluebell cottage is a beautifully restored fisherman's cottage. Loved every second of our stay. Clean,warm and cosy. And the most comfortable beds. Flamborough head and area stunning ..a walkers delight. Can't wait to re..book!

Central location,great for walking holiday.

Well suited for dog friendly stay ,outside area great for relaxing with added bonus of room with TV that allows full open access . Well equipped, cosy ,warm,very clean,we really enjoyed our stay .

We just loved our stay at the cottage.

Lovely little basket of goodies on arrival and fresh flowers. “Extremely” clean house (the cleanest we’ve stayed in) with comfy sofas and beds, cosy front room and well equipped kitchen with quality essentials. Plenty of towels and throws and even spare toilet rolls. Booklet containing useful information and instructions for everything and good selection of games and jigsaws. Our only negative (which certainly wouldn’t stop us staying there again) is the smell of damp in the kitchen cupboards (we ended up leaving crockery and glassware that we were using on the worktop during our stay). Thank you to the cleaners who keep this house immaculate and for calling us to arrange to return an item we’d left behind. Tip: If you are cooking a full English for a few people, take a large frying pan, although there is one you can only use the oven OR grill at the same time… also take some tongs for turning bacon etc. Flamborough is a great little village - we used the butchers, got our doggies some treats from the pet shop, had a lovely meal at the Rose & Crown and can recommend the coffees from Scrumdidliumptious. The bays and rock pools and walks nearby are a must also. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

The cottage is located in the heart of Flamborough within easy walking distance of a Coop, a couple of pubs & an excellent fish n chip shop.

It's is beautifully furnished and excellently equipped with everything we needed. We particularly loved the attic bedroom and the donkey themed garden room. We really enjoyed our stay & may well book Bluebell Cottage again next summer.

A beautiful cottage - it was comfortable, cosy and clean.

The location could not have been better for visiting the local coastal walks and attractions. We would highly recommend a stay at Bluebell Cottage.

Generally quite clean.

I felt I had to give it a once over myself on entering oland leaving. All in all an adequate stay. Good for local amenities, great bedrooms, bedding and bathroom. Unfortunately, downstairs not for us. Musty damp smells in kitchen cupboards which put us off eating and food preparation. Used all our own crockery and cutlery even though more than enough provided. Just not our cup of tea. The sofa has a smell too, not a place we felt we could chill and relax. These points were highlighted due to poor weather so needed a comfortable sit from early evening. Lots of crumbs in kitchen chair covers and sticky table. Hence the extra cleaning. Unfortunately, not for us but thank you.

Bigger than you would expect from the outside.

There is a pleasant little area outside with table and chairs which gets the sun in the afternoon. Comfortable beds and a lovely big bathroom with bath and separate shower. Very clean and tidy. Handy for the shops and pubs in Flamborough. One bit of feedback I thought after we had left was about having a few more pictures up, a few books or maps, it was a little bare in parts, a few bits might make it more cosy feeling.

We really enjoyed our stay here.

It was a perfect location from which to tour the coastline. The house is beautiful decorated. We loved the donkey themed summer room which gave us quiet additional space. The family kitchen is perfect with a large central table, not only to dine on but to play games. Scrabble and cards were thoughtfully provided along with dog bowls. Little touches like fresh flowers brightened up the room all week and doughnuts, milk, jam and bread were gratefully devoured. The main lounge has a generously sized television, comfy sofas and cushions, and several blankets to cosy up with. The bathroom is huge, with a double shower and free standing bath. We loved our stay here, saw puffins, and had everything one could wish for in a sweet little holiday let. Thankyou - we shall return.

Our third visit, and just as good as the first two

The milk and bread to welcome us was a nice touch.

It wasn't just ordinary bread either, it was Wholemeal, Spelt and Rye bread which is actually our favourite bread. The cottage was spotlessly clean: The bath was luxurious: The beds comfortable, and even though it is on the main road, it was surprisingly quiet. For us, the location was ideal. We had a wonderful holiday and intend to come again next year. We have no hesitation in giving this cottage 5 stars and would highly recommend it.

We have never been disappointed with Sykes’ listings but this one surpasses expectations.

So well located, excellent local amenities and plenty of places to visit. The cottage was so cosy and had everything you needed for a comfortable self catering stay. The master bedroom was spacious, and the king sized bed a luxury. The donkey room an added bonus and a great place to chill after a days walk. Everything was clean and tidy, and the fresh bread, doughnuts and milk on arrival was a lovely touch. Thank you.

One of the best holiday cottages I have stayed in.

Obviously well cared for. Very clean on arrival. Yard was a sun trap - nice to sit in. Parking in front of cottage was easy. Beds and sofas were comfy. Layout of cottage made it easy to keep dogs downstairs. Would recommend.

We spent a week at Bluebell Cottage at the beginning of November with our two dogs for a quiet week away around Bonfire Night.

The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped for our stay. It is well positioned, with plenty of nearby street parking, for everything that Flamborough and the area has to offer. We know the area well and always book a table at The Seabirds for dinner. The other pubs are great too, all dog friendly. Would come again!

The cottage is lovely, and we have stayed before and given it five stars, however this time there was a distinct doggy smell in the lounge and we do not have dogs.

Also the mattress on the bed was extremely hard and lumpy we came home early because of this. The cottage is clean and has all facilities you could wish for and the little sun room is great particularly if you are a larger party and want some time out. Also fresh flowers and a starter gift basket was a lovely touch.

We had a fabulous stay at Bluebell Cottage, there is everything there you need & a little treat for us & the dog from the owner was an extra special touch.

The cottage is very comfortable & clean, it was even better than the pictures online which we thought were lovely anyway!! The cottage is ideally placed within the village. We would definitely visit again.

This is one of those occasions when you’re actually looking forward to being asked for a review of a holiday accommodation.

The cottage was in an ideal position in the village, pub and shops a short walk away. The fish and chip shop the Lighthouse with the seating outside was really enjoyable, we were taken there by relatives that live close by and was highly recommended. For dog owners Danes Dyke was just around the corner 5mins by car or you could walk there straight from the cottage. All the walks are within striking distance from the cottage if you like hiking, South Landing, North Landing and the lighthouse, which has a bar and restaurant which makes it a great destination. The walk into Bridlington from Sewerby Hall Park is lovely, as is the Park itself, well worth a visit. Filey is just a short drive away Scarborough about 35 mins and Whitby just over an hours drive. Even if your not into bird spotting, (which I am not) a trip round to Bempton RSPB cliff tops is so interesting with nesting birds everywhere, would definitely recommend-bring your binoculars! The cottage itself is really lovely well maintained and very tasteful. When you arrive the first impression is what a lovely cottage and that the owner is really interested in making your stay a lovely experience. All the kitchen appliances you need are there including filter coffee machine. And there was a nice welcome basket with some treats and a loaf of artisan bread to get you off to great start! Just perfect thank you!

Small improvements softclosing on kitchen cabinets. chairs coasters to prevent noise against floor. Key safe was a nightmare needs replacing with a more reliable type.

We have just had a great weekend in this lovely cottage.

It’s clean and well equipped and they thought of every little touch to make things as comfortable as possible for us. A lovely welcome basket with tea, coffee, sugar, fresh bread and scones and even some dog treats. Milk, butter and jam in the fridge was much appreciated. There were dog bowls and enough toilet rolls for a whole stay. Soap in all the bathrooms and everything you could need. I couldn’t find the bin bags but there must have been some somewhere. My 5 year grand daughter loved the summer house. ‘WOW’ was her reaction to that and to the lovely attic room with the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom was huge with a big bath as well as a walk in shower. The small bedroom is as the description. Suitable for a child or teenager as there’s not much room to manoeuvre. The king size bed on the second floor was extremely soft and I personally found it uncomfortable but my son was fine in it. Flamborough is a lovely village and the surrounding area is perfect for dog walking. We had a lovely family weekend and will definitely be booking again. Thank you ☺️

Very well furnished, had everything we needed. Great location with pubs, shops and walks from the door. Really like the outside TV room, a great additional space. Scones and welcome basket were a lovely touch.

Great location, beaches within 5 minutes in the car, plenty of excellent pubs within 10 minutes walk and a short drive to Bridlington and Filey. The house was spotless, cosy and very well equipped. The garden room was a bonus when you have teenagers! The welcome pack was lovely for both us and the dog and contained everything needed to have a brew and a treat before unloading. Thank you... Would love to visit again.

Facilities are all that you need for cleanliness and easy tidiness. Just what is expected from a three bedroom property. Very good.

Ideal location the cottage is in the centre of village.

Excellent condition and generally very clean. Welcome pack of scones, jam, bread and milk was lovely after a long journey from Northampton. Everything you need was there, plenty of kitchen crockery etc., couldn't fault the facilities.

This was our second visit this year and it was just as enjoyable as the last time.

Bluebell Cottage is absolutely delightful.

We found a kind and thoughtful welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely surprise. The attention to detail was some of the best we have ever experienced, with both quality fixtures and fittings and enough of everything to ensure a relaxed and comfortable stay. The outside space was great for relaxing with a drink after a day out and the parking outside was trouble free. There is easy walking access to all local amenities with a handy ginnel opposite the house straight through to the high street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bluebell Cottage and would definitely recommend it.

What a wonderful cottage.

Spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a week with a family of 4 & 2 dogs. Welcome basket, flowers, bowls & treats for the dogs were an added bonus. Will definitely stay again when we are next in the area. This was our first holiday with the dogs & they were welcome everywhere in the village

Bluebell cottage was just what we wanted has a family and the two dogs loved the beaches .

Really lovely village and eating out at the near pubs if you been out all day or just enjoy the home comforts and relax.Would book again has we all enjoyed it .

The cottage was lovely and clean and there was a great little welcome hamper.

However I gave 4 stars as the flies drove us up the wall, we could not have windows or doors open, and we had are grandson with up who would have loved to be able to go outside, I am only glad I didn't take my dog. some sort of fly screen on the back door is definitely needed.

Lovely stay at Bluebell Cottage.

Immaculately clean, and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The little welcome basket contained some delicious bread and scones, amongst other little treats. Thank you ☺️ Great location for the stunning cliffs and beaches of Flamborough head, and nearby Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve. Easy driving distance to many East/North Yorkshire beauty spots. Very good fish and chip shop a 2 minute walk from the cottage (Lighthouse Fisheries). Convenient Co-op store 5 minute walk away. One problem for us (but not a criticism) was that out dogs were not very settled using the paved courtyard……they are used to having some grassy area. But, we still enjoyed sitting outside and the little Donkey room was delightful.

This cottage was a delight.

It was surprisingly spacious and was the perfect location for all amenities. It was a home from home with everything you would need in the property. It is well maintained and very clean with a lovely spacious bedroom on the top floor. Have already booked another stay for later in the year.

Fabulous cottage wonderful holiday

We spent a long weekend at this spacious cottage and were really lucky with the weather.

Welcome bread, milk and scones were a lovely touch and the nightlights were a great idea. The outside space and donkey shed were lovely areas which would be a place to relax come summertime. We were able to park easily outside the property and being walking distance to pubs and shops was a bonus. Only issues we had were the kitchen lights didn’t work (owner was made aware) and also there were some red and black hairs we found in the kingsize bed, so we ended up in the master bedroom in the eaves which hosts the boiler. The hum and the light of the boiler took a bit of getting used to.

Parking was no issue. We had a lovely basket of goodies which was a really nice touch. The cottage was very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the bath was lovely after a long walk. Lots of hot water. The cottage was a great base for walking the coastal path. Would recommend to others and would return if we came to Flamborough again. Thank you.

A fantastic property, larger than we expected, quiet, so comfortable, easy to park, very convenient for the village centre.

Home made bread and scones, butter and jam The cottage is beautifully presented, very cosy and clean. A well equipped kitchen. The location is good. Several good walks, along the cliffs, are easily accessible without the need to take the car. And plenty of very hospitable pubs serving excellent food within a five minute walk

What a smashing holiday cottage!

We've had a lovely stay and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for peace & quiet with a few local amenities, including a choice of pubs, & great local countryside walks. The cliffs of Flamborough head are around 30mins walk through pleasant fields and give great views of the nesting areas of many seabirds. This is also the cliff top walk that goes right around the headland and various landings - great for the ramblers. The accommodation is tastefully modern with comfy beds and a cosy feel. The cottage was warm and has excellent wifi with Netflix as an extra bonus my daughter really appreciated. We didn't really take advantage of the little courtyard garden & the 'donkey shed' room - it was February so a bit chilly but I imagine these facilities will be fantastic for a sunny summer's day. The welcome basket was a lovely extra treat including the doggy treats that our 4-legged friend really enjoyed. Thank you. If you are a stargazer this is a great cottage to see some wonderful starry skies - there is very little light pollution and a short walk from the cottage takes you into open countryside to enjoy the stars, weather permitting. As a base for relaxing evenings after busy days enjoying the East Yorkshire coast this cottage has everything you need & I highly recommend - I can't criticise at all.

The cottage was spotlessly clean & immaculate, had everything we needed & the welcome pack was a great gesture.

We have recommended it already! We would’ve appreciated a lock on the bathroom door, but otherwise could not fault the cottage. The only other criticism I would have is the emailed instructions we received had a section stating travelling to the property, which had a different address & postcode which could cause confusion!
