“A lovely spacious comfortable accommodation, ideal for 2 + 2 well behaved Labradors.”

Kitchen well appointed even with tea and coffee. TV in both Lou ge and bedroom. Internet fantastic, never experienced over 200mbps before !.Bedroom rather cramped especially with very low beams on one side, really had to remember the low beams when getting out of bed in low light !. Garden secure for dogs, additional lawn area through the garden gate for exercising the dogs. Well located for the coast, lots to see, lots of nice Cliff walks and good beaches nearby. Convenient for Bridlington and ...

“Overall Razorbill was lovely, the welcome pack is brilliant but could do with a couple of additions 1, Instructions for microwave and induction hob would help.”

2, There were some cobwebs in the bathroom behind a plant stand. 3, No condiments (salt, pepper, cooking oil and the large frying pan was bent on the bottom), this made contact with the induction hob limited. An extendable opener for the velux windows would have been useful and there is a slight issue with the rear fencing on the right under the hedge (our dogs managed to get through to the neighbouring property as the fence is missing), whilst this didn’t cause any issues for us, it might if there is a ‘reactive’ dog present. The dog welcome pack was amazing and very thoughtful. Overall a great little bolt hole / getaway destination. With the small issues above remedied it will be amazing

“We spent a week in May 2026 in Razorbill.”

The area where the cottages are is really quiet so had lots of time relaxing. The village centre was only a 15 minute walk. The cottage was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The sofa and bed were very comfortable. The cottage was also dog friendly. Danielle was very friendly when she called on us to see if everything was ok. We had a lovely time while on holiday, we have booked again for next year. Highly recommend.

“This was our second stay at The Grange Holiday Cottages, the first in Razorbill.”

Razorbill was very well equipped and very clean on our arrival. We appreciated the welcome teas, coffee, hot chocolate sachets and biscuits plus a doggy welcome box, including a towel and fleece throws, for our two dogs; The bath towels were of an excellent quality being proper bath sheets, thick, soft and fluffy. We found the living area generally very comfortable. We found the sleeping arrangements uncomfortable as the mattress was well worn and the bed very low as the ceiling was steeply sloping on one side. For this reason, we would not book Razorbill again. The accommodation could be improved by providing each property with a secure garden area for the dogs to use, especially in a morning and last thing at night or at least making the grassy area at the back of the properties secure bearing in mind one side borders a road.

Though the property was really nicely presented with a good standard of facilities, the only thing that really would of put the icing on the cake for the stay would have been a safely fenced off garden /communal area for the dog . “The cottage is very clean and comfortable.”

I would recommend that a pole be provided to open the skylight in the living room and bathroom to be able to open the window as the living room did become very warm with no other windows to open. In the kitchen, I would recommend that blinds or privacy screening be put over the patio doors to allow privacy from the communal garden. In the garden area outside the patio doors, a little fence or windbreaker or something similar be placed again for privacy and to prevent other guests dogs entering the area & upsetting dogs staying in the cottage. The location is lovely, just a short walk approx 15mins to the village. The coast and beach is a 5 min drive away.

The cottage is warm & comfortable & doggy friendly- ideally located for lovely cliff walks to secluded bays & other places of interest …. As a dog owner a mop would have been useful on the showery days & as the back lawn area is communal - Ripple started barking when other dogs came sniffing around outside…a blind or curtain to the double patio kitchen doors would have prevented the disturbance to fellow holiday makers…all in all thoroughly enjoyed our stay & on my list for a return visit … thankyou.

“Very comfortable, warm and clean in a quiet location.”

Well equipped. Large garden area for pets but not enclosed. Only one cottage (Puffin) has an enclosed space. Hopefully the owners will enclose the others. Flamborough is in easy walking distance. It has a Co-op, 2 pubs (that are still open). Can highly recommend the High St fisheries fish and chip shop. The Seabirds pub has a nice garden area and it’s dog friendly. One recommendation would be to have some local info on walks etc from the cottage and some instruction manuals on oven, microwave and TV. Enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. Good communication from owners.

“Razorbill is a warm, welcoming and comfortable cottage.”

It’s in a very peaceful location, yet is within walking distance of Flamborough village centre, with all that it has to offer it’s visitors, including beautiful scenery at North and South landing and panoramic views of the sea at the lighthouse. The garden at the cottage was a bonus for our cocker spaniel Saffie, but I would advise that dogs be kept on a lead because of possible ‘escapes!’ We had excellent communication from the hosts, who also left treats for us, and our dog. The property is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We highly recommend and would love to return.

“A great cosy, clean cottage just what was needed to escape the stresses of a demanding job for a few days along with my 2 dogs.”

Much nicer property than the photos portray. The power shower was immense after a day hiking the cliff tops. Complimentary tea/coffee available. Fabulous location, in walking distance to the village & great for getting out in the car exploring the neighbouring towns. I would stay again & my only hope is eventually the beautiful huge communal garden is made secure for our 4-legged friends & maybe a mop in the property to clean up after those muddy paws. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you to the owners :)

We did find the furniture a little uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi was down a couple of times but was soon rectified.We went to use the toaster and it tripped out the electricity,so we used the grill instead.The bedroom was cosy and warm with a nice comfortable bed and nice hot shower and clean bathroom.We would like to thank the owners for chocolates and coffee pods a nice gesture.Would have gave five stars if we didn’t have the above small problems.

“We really enjoyed our stay at Razorbill.”

The property was well appointed and had a good range of quality facilities. We were surprised to find not only an espresso machine, but coffee pods for it. We were welcomed by a pack for both ourselves and the dog. It feels like the owners really had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We had come to the area for the seabirds and were pleased to find a path that took us directly from the property to the cliffs. We had such a lovely time I am loathed to put anything that could be constituted as negative but felt it fair to point out that the sloping ceiling in the bedroom would make it awkward for very tall or not very mobile people. Having said that we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

“When we arrived at the property we thought the decor was really nice but on further inspection the cottage was not clean , cutlery drawer filthy, windows needed cleaning all internal doors and skirting boards dusty.”

Bathroom floor and towel rail dirty. The kitchen sink was dirty and the dish drainer was filthy, underneath the sofa cushions was full of hairs snd crumbs as attached photos show. We actually left the cottage 2 days early because of all of this. We have photo evidence of this.

“A nice cottage in a lovely area not too far from the coast.”

Very clean and comfortable, with great facilities. The only minor concern was we couldn't seem to get the heating going to any great degree (the radiators didn't seem to get very warm). That said, we did visit in the middle of Winter, and I'm sure that a Summer visit would be wonderful.

The pretty village of Flamborough occupies a superb setting, perched on a picturesque peninsula on the East Coast of Yorkshire, 4 miles from Bridlington. Housing traditional fishermen's cottages and a small selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants, Flamborough also has much to offer the rambler, historian and birdwatcher. There are spectacular cliffs, which form an eight mile stretch of Heritage coastline, and at Flamborough Head, stand two historic lighthouses, one of which is the oldest one in Britain, built in 1674. To the north of the village, the magnificent 400 feet high cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of nesting sea birds in England.
