Perfect location for us. Quiet and peaceful. Property's garden is beautiful. The gate gives you an opportunity to chat with locals and visitors alike. Inside is also beautiful everything you need is there. The welcome pack is definitely welcomed. Can't wait to come back.

Loved the whole house, didn't feel like a holiday let at all.

A home from home. Everything thing you need. Enclosed garden, fully furnished and not with plastic (quality). Great for our puppy, no fear of him wandering off. Very close to all the facilities and the beach in front of you is dog friendly all year round. Perfect for us all. Would I recommend for others, of course we would. We made sure we had our future bookings , before I posted this.lol.

We had a super time at wavecrest we are in our80s walking difficulty’s and find it very spacious and comfortable it was very peaceful and private loved the different areas to sit and the vo amazing thankyou hope to return

Very clean & comfortable bungalow.

Great location for Hornsea sea front & promenade, & local shops, pubs & amenities. Nice secure garden area, although a bit overgrown. Access to parkland round back of bungalow & within lots of green spaces & paths for short walks with the dog. Bungalow had everything needed for self catering accommodation. We'll stocked with pots, pans , crockery & cutlery. Bed was comfortable & there is plenty of seating in different areas. Welcome pack (wine, cookies, tea & coffee) was as nice touch, as was message from owners. Would definitely book again.

Lovely property in an excellent location with all the facilities you could need.

The property is in the perfect location for walks from the door, the beach and exploring East Ridings Yorkshire.

John and Maxine are great hosts! The property is clean and cosy and our dog loved the enclosed garden with the view of the sea.

It is nice to deal with property owners who put guests comfort and enjoyment at the top of their priorities.

We intend to return next year .

Beautiful and spotless everything you need only thing missing is a washing line or clothes airer .

I am writing this on feedback from parents as I was recovering from suegery so unable to stay sadly.

They did send me a video! Lovely and cosy and perfect location for the beach - especially if you have a dog. Comfy beds, lovely outside area. Close to bus stops, shops etc. They said the TV could be a bit bigger as its in an alcove (they're old and like the TV a lot!) and the pressure in shower could be better but otherwise everything was perfect, lovely welcome pack and great comms from owner. Would recommend. I'd imagine its great in the warm weather. Hornsea is really lovely and very dog friendly weve previously stayed and enjoyed it.

Property owners could not be more helpful and accomadating,making sure everything was ok plus all the welcome things were appreciated bungalow in a nice position to just sit outside and watch the sea and the world go by loved it thank you dave@margaret

Wavecrest is in the perfect location for both the shops and beach.

As regular holiday let users I would like to say Wavecrest was the cleanest let we have been to with everywhere spotless and well appointed with everything you might need.Owners are available but not intrusive should you have any problems and there was a gererous welcome package.

The cottage was beautifully laid out, well appointed, cosy, had a great enclosed garden for the dog and it was very clean.

It was very well positioned, with the back gate leading out onto a great grassy area for playing ball with the dog and only a stones throw from the promenade and beach. The town was a five minute walk away, with dog friendly cafés and pubs. We had a great stay.

What a fabulous location.

Everything we wanted was at the property. The owners contacted us to check everything was okay during our stay and left a very generous welcome pack. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Really loved it here, was a beautiful, clean and very comfortable, positioned in a brilliant location, 10 minute walk into town, wonderful view of the sea, spent a lot of time in dining kitchen looking out to sea.

Secure garden brilliant for our dog,would love to return in warmer months to take advantage of the lovely outdoor area.

A wonderful little cottage in a perfect position can sit in the kitchen having breakfast watching the sea.

It is well equipped with anything you may need and quiet and tranquil yet so close just a few minutes walk to everything. Maxine the host was so kind and helpful and left a most appreciated welcome pack. I have stayed before and have got future dates booked already only downside is we had to come home

Property was nice and clean but lacked kitchen utensils such as oven trays for cooking other than that a nice cottage in good location

Wavecrest is a fantastic place to stay.

It is in a great location close to the beach and town centre. It is very cosy and has everything you need to self cater. There is plenty of outdoor space to sit out in. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This is our third visit and hope to come again next year

This is a fabulous little cottage with everything you need.

The owners make sure everything is ok and if not you can contact them with any problems. We have never had any, we will definitely be back soon.

We’ve just returned from a lovely relaxing week at Wavecrest.

This was our 4th visit to this property and we’ve got 2 more already booked in. Perfect property, perfect location and perfect hosts…… we love it here ❤️

ideal position. Near the sea and a easy walk to the small town center. A modern tesco nearby if required. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Ideal for our small dog . Through the garden gate and plenty of grass to exercise her on. This property and position would takes some beating .

The cottage is all you could wish for in a wonderful location right by the sea.

We loved it so much we booked last and this year and are just about to book again for next year !!!!!

Wave Crest great location immaculate presentation fantastic sea views very comfortable top spec furnishings and appliances lots of little snuggly areas to relax or read very dog friendly with access to an enormous park area at the rear for exercise great on site parking with ample space for our large camper the owners have thought of everything including the seaside decor and superb garden lighting .

The cottage is ideally placed for all the amenities that Hornsea has to offer.

It is a very comfortable and spacious cottage, in particular the lovely lounge area. Our dogs loved being able to go out of the gate and play on the green. The welcome pack was very generous, thank you. If we have one criticism, it would be that the garden is very overgrown and could do with some TLC.

The cottage was in a lovely location overlooking a green, then the sea which was 2 minutes walk across the green.

A short walk into town which had a village bakery, pharmacies, newsagent, other quirky shops, numerous dog friendly cafes and bars and a co-op and one other small supermarket. (Just outside town was a large Tesco and a Hornsea shopping village outlet.) There was a local market on the Saturday in the park behind the shops. The park was great for dog to run in too. You could walk along the promenade both ways but would need to walk along the beach if you wanted to go further each way - it is important to check the tides and access at various seaside villages. Mappleton is the best as it has a slope from beach up to small village where there is an amazing cafe called The old post office. (Skipsea and Atwick not accessible due to coastal erosion, however, there is access at Mr Moos walk from cafe (which serves delicious ice cream) at skipsea. Mappleton beach is wonderful. The other cafes to recommend in Hornsea, which serve great food and are dog friendly, are lyndseys cafe and the green owl. Withernsea is quite nice to visit with a walk along the promenade both ways. Ellis cafe there is wonderful but the castle cafe is only dog friendly outside although served a delicious breakfast. Burton Constable hall and gardens is a great place to visit with a wonderful dog friendly cafe and shop. The cottage was really comfortable and the sun shone in at different times of the day where there was always a comfy seat. The room overlooking the sea was my personal favourite as was my dogs who enjoyed watching other dogs on their daily walks. The welcome pack was appreciated especially after a long journey. Facilities were great (although egg cups and an extra saucepan would be great). Contact was made by the owners on the journey and in the week to check everything was ok which was appreciated.

Beatiful seaside cottage, well presented, comfy and clean, wonderful views and easy 5min walk into Hornsea.

Excellent base for coastal and inland places of interest. Owners left great welcome pack and contacted us to ensure we were happy on arrival and during our stay. Will certainly return.

I booked a lovely seaside escape for my parents, and it turned out to be perfect.

The weather was great, and they got to enjoy a cup of tea while watching the sunrise. The location was ideal, with easy access to local amenities.

Everything you need for a holiday was provided. Owners sent a text on arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. Very close proximity to beach which our dog loved. Highly recommend.

Lovely clean and welcoming bungalow - we enjoyed ourselves here very much but a couple of feedback points: the two large coffee tables could be removed as they don’t serve any useful purpose and made it difficult moving around, esp as we used the sofa bed and it was overcrowded in that room and the lounge.

Less furniture would be better and rooms would feel more spacious. Having said that it would be good to have some kind of dressing table to get ready at - found it difficult to get a mirror and plug to use hairdryer etc. Everything else was great! Thank you

What a gem of a find.

Perfect for a couple and dog. Lovely enclosed garden and a gate that leads onto more green space then the sea. You can see and hear the sea. Great walks from the bungalow never used the car didn't need to. Beautifully decorated amazingly comfortable and cosy and warm . Neighbours lovely too. Nice welcome pack vegan goodies thank you. Perfect seaside get away in a perfect seaside cottage ,couldn’t have wished for a better holiday ,owners are lovely and Hornsea a great place with great people.

Wavecrest is a beautiful bungalow, it was spotlessly clean and a credit to the lovely cleaner.

Nice to have a welcome pack which not all holiday rentals do, we have visited Hornsea many times before and I think this is one of our favourites due to the proximity of the grassed area at the other side of the gate, ideal for the dog and our walk to the beach. Liked the sea view and even got to sit in the outside sun lounge for a couple of hours which we didn't expect to do in November. Will return again next year.

Fabulous, well-equipped cottage in a great location.

Handy for the sea, walks along the prom, dog walks immediately outside, local amenities and all points up and down the coast. The garden shed was brilliant for reading every day and in better weather there are places to sit outdoors in the enclosed garden. Friendly, helpful but unobtrusive owners. I've booked to go again.

What a gem!

Wavecrest is a cosy, comfortable cottage, situated in a quiet spot, providing everything one could need whilst on holiday. The patio areas are well maintained and offer great places to sit to enjoy the views and the sun. I loved sitting in the thoughtfully placed chair by the patio door watching both the sea and the world go by. This is just the place if you want a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Wonderful cottage in a spectacular location right next to the sea.

Cottage has everything that you need for a relaxing break and the fact that they take dogs is a bonus. Our dog loved it and went out for at least three long walks a day. Already booked for next year.

It had everything we needed, and was immaculate throughout. The owners could not have been more accommodating. It's situated in a perfect position in hornsea, close to the beach and local amenities. The view of the sea from the garden is lovely. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you xx

This is a lovely clean modern bungalow.

It is in a lovely seaside location.It has a very nice garden also

The location of this property is amazing.

On one side the start of the Trans Pennine Trail and on the other a field and the beach. We were unlucky with the weather but looking out over the sea in a morning then walking down the Trail with the dog was bliss in spite of the wind and rain. Found some picturesque, secluded beaches up the coast. Hornsea itself is really clean with some lovely little shops and eateries. For anyone without a car, the town centre is an easy walk and you can also reach Tesco via the Trans Pennine Trail through the lovely Community Orchard. Cottage is clean, comfortable and well-equipped for self-catering. The only thing missing was oven gloves but this is a minor point. The outside area is secure for all but the tiniest dogs but due to a few plants such as rhubarb that are toxic to dogs then they would have to be supervised. Delighted with the messages from the owners and the little extras left on arrival. Would highly recommend.

A brilliant location with access to lots of walks without having to drive, a short walk to the park and shops- a really great spot.

The accommodation itself was clean with lots of thoughtful equipment, gas fire in the living space and a much needed utility room for muddy boots! Genuinely dog friendly with an enclosed garden and hose outside. The only drawback was the WiFi was very intermittent meaning we couldn't really watch the smart TV.

This was our first time to this area and the cottage was great.

It had everything you would want. Enjoying a morning cuppa looking out to sea was perfect. We enjoyed everything about Hornsea. A good base also for Beverley and Bridlington. We would definitely return.

John and Maxine were super hosts.

Very attentive. Coffee, tea, biscuits and milk were waiting which saved a lot of hassle. The house was perfectly located for the beach and town and was very quiet. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We spent our Christmas at Wavecrest and it was everything that we had hoped for.

The bungalow was spotlessly clean, very well maintained and was extremely cosy and comfortable. We were greeted with a wonderful welcome pack which included tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and even a bottle of wine. The bungalow is a credit to John and Maxine who were very friendly and helpful with our pre-visit questions. We would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning hopefully in the warmer months to make use of the outdoor space.

The owners are very friendly but not intrusive. Lovely welcome pack on arrival, comfortable bed and furnishings. Sitting looking at the sea mesmerising and within easy reach of all amenities.

The cottage and hosts were fantastic.

The location could not be beat you could see and hear the waves from the cottage. The property had everything you could need. The inside and outside was immaculate and a lovely welcome pack included a bottle of wine was there to greet us on our arrival. The garden was fully enclosed which is what we needed for our cockapoo Harry. We spent lovely mornings sitting outside having our breakfast cuppas. We had a local called the marine which welcomed dogs . The beaches were great , we walked our dog there every day. We will be returning next year

Had a great break at Wave Crest, every thing you could want in a cottage, cannot speak highly enough of it, We shall be going back next year that is for sure.

The property was immaculate.

Everything that you could possibly need to make our stay comfortable was thought off and provided. The location was perfect and easy to walk the area- things were a lot closer than google maps suggested! Would 100% recommend

Had everything we needed inside as well as a lovely secure garden for the dog and a bonus sea view. Excellent location in a quiet area but close to amenities. Liked that the kitchen appliances were all straightforward to use as well. Have already booked again for next year.

This property is a gem it was a bit difficult to find but we asked at police station and it was just across the road Everything you need is supplied and the place has a stunning view of the sea Weather started well but it got worse as we had storm Lee but sitting reading our books watching the waves was a bonus Would definitely return
