Bay Cottage

The bay holiday cottage is immaculate The welcome basket so lovely.

So kind There is everything in the cottage for a families needs Will recommend to family and friends

Lovely cottage.

Clean, modern, great position, parking opposite and nice little touches like the welcome pack and doggie treats. Will defo look to rebook in the future.

Bay Cottage is such a lovely property.

Well maintained and very clean. Its location is perfect, on a quiet street but yet so close to all the amenities on offer at The Bay Holiday Village. A short stroll and you are down on the super dog friendly Filey beach. Everything as been absolutely Spot On!!! Great holiday had by all. Thank you.

Very clean lovely cottage with everything you need provided.

Close to the beach and everything. Lovely feeling in the cottage, comfortable and very dog friendly. Peaceful, and would stay there again. Thank you

The property was clean and comfortable, if we had any criticisms it would be that the bath towels were too small and the bathroom fan was really noisy, otherwise it was pleasant.

We stayed at The Bay cottage from the 08/05/26 for a week, the property is excellent it has everything you need.

It is in an ideal location for visiting Bridlington, Whitby and Scarborough, we have stayed on The Bay Holiday Village 4 times and always enjoy ourselves.

Absolutely gorgeous little cottage, location perfect.

Even some welcome goodies left for us all including the dog! We will definately be back

Property was extremely well equipped and immaculate.

Very homely with a lovely welcome pack. We would not hesitate to rebook this accommodation.

Clean, comfortable, great facilities and good location.

Thoughtful documentation left with suggestions, guides, menus etc. Thank you, we look forward to returning.

Having stayed at the bay for the past 5 years ,this property by far has been the most homely and cleanest, even down to the small little touches of a welcome basket and treats for the dog, Amazing will definitely look at booking in the future Ray Moody

Amazing cottage, like a home from home.

Lovely and clean on arrival, has everything you need for your stay. A really good spot on the site, close to the facilities and a nice walk to the beach. We would definitely come back here and highly recommend bay cottage.

This is our third stay at the lovely Bay Cottage (since 2021) and it is lovely to see the ongoing improvements such as the new bathroom and downstairs WC.

However, there were a few areas which we want to highlight to the owners which did affect our stay and they may not be aware of: 1) the lefthand window in the lounge (as you look out from inside) needs replacing as it no longer seals - this means that there is a cold draught which can be felt in the room when sitting on the sofas. 2) the bed pillows need replacing. They are lumpy and slightly smelly. 3) the waterfall shower head is very clogged up with limescale so does not work properly.

This is a fantastic property, in an excellent location, well equipped and very homely and comfortable and the owner was very approachable and attentive when we had questions or needed support so I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage for someone staying in the Filey area

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage.

It is spotlessly clean, near to the pub, shop and the beach walks are great. This is one of the best places we have stayed in. The welcome basket was much appreciated, so was the dog treats. You should be very proud of your cottage. 10 out of 10.

Really enjoyed our stay in the cottage.

Very comfortable, clean & well equipped. Ideal location for immensities.

Loved our time at bay cottage.

.spotless and had everything for a great stay..great communication from the owner sue and we got to check in early on the Monday so that was ace. 10 out of 10..would definitely recommend if you want a stay in filey..xx

Bay cottage is wonderful.

Absolute quality accommodation and attention to detail. I had family staying in other cottages and whilst there was nothing at all wrong with those, Bay cottage was just superior . One of the best holiday homes we have stayed in anywhere. It’s superbly placed on the site, being literally around the corner from all the facilities. It will be the first place for when booking again.

Bay Cottage was a joy to stay in from the very thoughtful welcome pack to the cleanliness of the property and the general condition and provision of utilities you can see the owners take great pride in their property and care of their guests.

We have stayed in other properties on site but this far exceeds any of them. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bay Cottage and would look to book again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at bay cottage.

There was some really nice touches ie wine, treats for our dog sadly I couldn’t have the shortbread as I’m celiac but the wine went down a treat

Have stayed at Bay cottage before and after our last stay I would not have any hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone, the place is absolutely faultless.

Only sorry to have left it to go home Thank you very much for the use of your lovely home.

A lovely home from home experience.

The cottage was short of nothing. Ideally situated to get about and see the local area. Beach great just be prepared for the uphill walk back! Definitely would stay again if we holiday in Filey in the future.

A lovely cottage in a wonderful location.

Clean and all towels etc provided, TV reception is a bit hit and miss but did not spoil our Holiday. a 10 min walk to the beach kept our elderly Labrador happy. All of the facilities on site our within a couple of minutes walk. Handy for both Bridlington and Scarborough. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful and well kept!

Home from home!

A well maintained and comfortable Bay Cottage.

Home from home, everything you need for a week away.

Close to many beautiful areas on the coast. Already booked next year.

Bay Cottage is beautifully decorated throughout, and has everything provided for a perfect, relaxing stay for every family member, including the dog.

The owners have thought of every comfort and are very helpful. There is also the added attraction of additional facilities available on the complex, and the cottage's location by a fantastic crescent of sandy beach, plus other seaside towns and attractions nearby.

Ideally situated, nice comfortable house to stay in wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

This is quality accommodation.

It is comfortable, clean, well stocked and perfectly located. We are in our early seventies and holiday in England 2/3 times a year. We have not stayed in a property better than this one anywhere (but we have stayed at very many that are nowhere near this standard!)

We have stayed in approx 5 homes in the bay complex now and this was by far the best of them all, and that’s not saying any of them were bad ( far from it).

The house was spotless, and a credit to the owners Sue and Mick, the welcome gifts were fantastic and Blu our dog loved her treats, Thanks. The only reason I have left 5 stars is I can’t leave 6.Thanks George Bernie and Blu

This was our second stay here and settled in immediately to our comfortable surroundings.

The cottage is very well equipped and met all our needs. We would be more than happy to return in the future.

Perfect place and everything we could possibly need for a week away.

Already booked for next year.

The cottage was absolutely immaculate and decorated lovely.

The location was perfect as it was round the corner from the pool and pub and was also close to the beach too. The owner got in touch before we arrived which was really helpful and welcoming and was also on email throughout the week regularly if we needed anything. A really wonderful stay!

Lovely property, will definitely be staying again.

Absolutely loved our stay!

The cottage was spotless, so comfortable, warm, lovely furnishings, plenty of hot water, and so well equipped. Just perfect. Great spot so close to the amenities and beach. Will return and totally recommend (and already done so!). We love The Bay as there’s so much to do in the area.

This cottage was the best cottage we have stayed in.

Absolutely gorgeous decor throughout. Since photos taken, new furniture and flooring. Everything needed for the perfect stay available. Amazing thoughtful welcome pack, including treats for our dog. So cozy and warm and so near all the amenities on site. Parking space opposite the cottage too. Friendly owners getting in touch before and after our visit. First time we have visited The Bay resort. Ideal place to visit nearby resorts and near beach. We definitely will be back and highly recommend this cottage..x

Great little house with quality fixtures and fittings.

On a good site with a lovely beach. Really enjoyed a week here and dogs were made very welcome.

The cottage was so lovely, so clean and comfortable, felt at home as soon as we arrived.

Location ideal for all the beautiful sites in the area. Will definitely be returning next year

The cottage was lovely and very well equipped with everything we needed.

It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The short walk to the beach from our cottage was fantastic for quick walks with the dog or longer walks over to Filey. The park's location off the main road meant that it was always easy and quick to get to other towns and locations in the car. The park definitely lacked an on site shop but I understand that there is one planned for the future.

The bay is fabulous, so clean and tidy we will deffo go back.

The cottage was just like photos however the bathroom has issues, shower pipe has holes in so the water comes out in different directions, the shower head needs replacing as the holes are blocked, and the plug hole is blocked so when you have a shower it’s like you’re having a bath. I have fed this back to the owner directly. The rest of the property was spot on! The single beds are full of springs and not comfy at all however I’m told the larger bed was very comfy. When we arrived the travel cot was all made up, the fresh bed linen and towels all laid out. All facilities in the property worked, TV was fab, kitchen well equipped, heating worked and the property was very warm and cosy.

This is the first time we have stayed at The Bay and were very impressed with our accommodation which was cosy but very spacious.

We felt very safe within the site and everyone was complying with restrictions. The Leisure Centre was well organised as we were able to book a 1 hour slot for the gym/pool.

Perfect location.

A lovely, clean, comfortable and cosy cottage to stay in, highly recommend

Bay Cottage is really lovely; comfortable and well furnished, it had everything we needed and more.

Great location on the site, near to the amenities but still quiet. Only a short walk to the excellent beach which we would have enjoyed more but the weather wasn't too kind on the week we visited so we were very pleased to have a warm cosy cottage to return to! Communication before arrival was great so we knew exactly what to expect. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

In almost every case the "blurb" on a prospective holiday cottage is better than the reality.

NOT the case here! My wife took one look around and said "I could live here". It's a real home from home and the location means it's a pleasant walk along the beach to Filey or short drives to nearby Scarborough or Bridlington. Nice welcome pack by the way.

Beautiful comfortable clean cottage close to all amenities, I would highly recommend to anyone looking to book and would book again.

We arrived to a lovely welcome pack and treats for the dog much appreciated. The Bay is a great location to stay with easy short journeys to Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Whitby. The only disappointment we had is eating in the Bayside Kitchen Dinner we ordered panini’s but had to leave them as they were not nice at all and the menu for the John Paul Pub has changed since the Bay changed from Hoseasons and the food is not as good.

This is our fifth stay at Bay Cottage and once again we have loved every minute.

As well as the great facilities including the pool, gym, arcade and brilliant pub, it is a great base for exploring up and down the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. Scarborough and Bridlington are only 20 minutes away and Whitby only 40 minutes' drive. Filey beach really is fantastic and we have had lots of lovely walks with the dog over the golden sands. The cottage itself is always spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped for our family of four. The welcome basket is such a lovely treat on arrival. The bedroom and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable and the cosy lounge-diner is perfect for our family time spent indoors. We have stayed in other cottages at The Bay but nothing comes close to Bay Cottage for comfort, cleanliness and facilities. We wouldn't stay anywhere else and cannot wait to come back in the autumn. Thank you so much once again.

This is our second year staying at Bay Cottage and once again it hasn't disappointed.

The house is lovely, perfect for a family of four and the area we are in is amazing. We did completely different days out compared to last year and it was fantastic once again. See you again soon x

Once again Filey and Bay Cottage have been superb.

We come to Filey every year and always stay here at Bay Cottage. Trips to Scarborough , Bridlington and Filey with lots of sun and no rain. See you again next year - same time, same place!

Beautiful cottage with everything you would ever need.

We had the most amazing time. I would highly recommend this cottage. Already booked to come back.
