Lovely house, perfect for what we needed.

Really happy with the extras that you sometimes don't get eg hand wash at every sink.

A comfortable clean cottage in a beautiful location.

We have stayed at The Bay many times, and this is our second time at Seadrift. We love being able to walk on the miles long beach without getting in the car. An easy walk along the beach into Filey seaside town. Great using the included leisure facilities, swimming pool and relaxing sauna.

Great position for us close to the bottom of the Bay, we would definitely book Seadrift again if available.

Lovely accommodation, everything we needed.

The shower is fantastic and really easy to use. Nothing was to much trouble and Kay was a joy to speak to when we needed her help. We enjoyed our stay here so much, we have already re-booked. This property is a central location for various days out. We enjoyed the beach walk into Filey and visited Bempton Cliffs, Sewerby Hall, Hornsea, Flamborough and Bridlington.

Beautiful cottage, very clean and comfortable.

The cottage was well kept,it was home from home ,would book this cottage again .

We have stayed at the The Bay twice before but this cottage was everything and more.

The little things that really are big things when you arrive like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets hand soaps and toilet rolls. Seadrift has plenty of books, games for children WiFi it also has all the TV package. Nice 5 mins walk to pub and bus stop. I will when I return next year rebook. Guess if people are looking at where to stay on The Bay book Seadrift it is amazing

Seadrift was beautiful holiday home for our family of two girls when staying at the Bay in Filey.

We enjoyed the amenities the house offered us, along with the facilities on site from the swimming pool through to the park and pub. It was a great base for us to explore the local area

We had a wonderful stay at sea drift, so much so we have booked to return.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and very comfortable, a real home from home. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was always lovely to return to the cottage after a day out exploring the local area. The owners are very helpful and always on hand should any issues arise.

Seadrift is a beautiful house in which to stay.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. On a very cold week it was super to return to a lovely cosy warm house. Absolutely everything you need for your stay, a superb kitchen and shower room, Netflix was a bonus too. Thanks for a great stay, we will return.

A real home away from home!

We’ve had a lovely stay at Seadrift. I was a little concerned about space as I found out we were expecting a baby after i’d made the booking but I needn’t have worried. All 6 of us (2 adults & 4 children (inc. a toddler & a baby)) fit perfectly. It was lovely and cosy, nice to return to after a day out in the fresh air. Kay & Mark have thought of everything. Their communication was great from arrival information to departure. The whole house was clean and the beds really comfy. I definitely recommend.

First time in this area of Yorkshire, and we enjoyed the week, capped off by seeing the Northern Lights on Thursday.

Coffee and breakfast at Thirty in Filey was good. Only real issue was lack of Electric Chargers (for EV) on site and in Filey. I understand this is being resolved but that would influence our decision in many places we stay.

Lovely house We stayed during a cold week , instructions on how to increase the heating would be beneficial.

It was hard to dry wet / damp clothes even with a maiden. Good size fridge and freezer Very comfortable beds , we all slept very well. Excellent shower. We would definitely book again and tell our friends and family. Thank you Seadrift.

Nice holiday, despite the mainly miserable weather.

What happened to the Indian Summer? The house is very comfortable and the shower is excellent. We didn't do a lot due to my husband's bad back, but went out to sightsee and had a lovely meal at Robin Hood's Bay.

Very nice and comfortable too. Location ideal for Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington & York. Good having free access to the on site swimming pool & games room.

We had a lovely stay at seadrift cottage.

There was everything you would ever need there from a highchair and travel cot to fold up chairs,tea,coffee,milk and biscuits. The only thing it lacked was a drier as you are not aloud to hang washing outside so we had to hang it on the drying rack inside which will make the cottage damp. We will definetly be booking again.

Excellent property in a very pleasant and convenient location - lots to do all around, plus a lot of facilities on site if you care to use them.

Gorgeous property with everything you need.

Great for children as only a short walk to the beach, swimming, park, arcade and shop. The property was spotlessly clean and in a great location to explore the east coast. We will definitely be returning if we come back up this way again.

This is our second visit to Seadrift, under the current ownership.

It was clean and well maintained the first time we visited but if anything it was even better the second time. Refurbishment of the bathroom has been very well done and the decor has been kept to a high standard. The Bay, Filey also has good amenities, which is welcome when the weather is not very good, as is the smart tv, sky, netfix and alexa at the property. Look forward to returning.

Well, what can we say , it was perfect, clean, every thing you want, And when we arrived, milk, tea, coffee, after a long drive, Clean beds, fluffy towels, perfect, Would go again,

A very comfortable and warm property.

The house was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything that you could possibly want. The lounge felt light and airy and was just right for a quiet night in, with a lovely big telly and all the streaming services you need. We had a great stay and would gladly recommend it.

Just had a week in this comfortable cosy cottage, in a good location.

The smart TV was a bonus, bath towels wonderful, bed very comfortable, nice linen and pillows. Would recommend to others and would certainly return.

Lovely cottage on a great site.

Well furnished, clean and everything we needed. The owners were very helpful when we had some issues and responded quickly. I used the postcode to find the property and faced some confusion but the owner has put clear instructions on the site. We were a bit chilly in the evenings but otherwise it was perfect. First time to Filey and we were very impressed.

Had a lovely cose and comfy time at Seadrift, will certainly be back!

What more could you ask for!

Just had a very pleasant and comfortable week in a lovely home from home property 'Seadrift', situated on The Bay holiday park, Filey. The property is clean and tidy plus it is well looked after by the current owners who have lovely furnishings and decoration. Look forward to returning in the future.

This was our second visit.

The house was up to standard and introduced a Sky tv and alexa! We again couldn't leave the key in the key fob and had to post the key through the letterbox.(Thickos!) This holiday was a bit of a last minute as my husband had had an operation on his back. The owner says they are replacing the bath with a shower (constantly improving)! so we'll definitely be back!

We only stayed for 2hrs on a 7 night holiday.

The cottage was miss sold it was not habitable. I contacted the owner and also spoke to Sykes to no avail. Sykes refuse compensation and have shuffled me from pillar to post.This is now being put into the hands of people who deal with miss selling and see how Sykes deal with them. Regards Ray

Perfect holiday cottage.

Had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Very clean and comfortable. Also loved the location. 1 minute was to the shop and leisure facilities. Will definitely return

Plenty of storage and nicely placed as my husband couldn't walk far.

We enjoyed our week long stay at Seadrift.

The prior contact from the owners a few days before was very useful. The cottage was very clean and tidy, we were comfortable there as a family of 4. Having the smart TV already logged in to a few of the apps was appreciated by us and the children. We would definitely stay again if going to Filey. The bay itself has a lovely pool, which is clean and tidy.

Seadrift was spotless on arrival, and the accommodation was very comfortable.

The location was ideal for the type of holiday we were looking for, walking and exploring the Yorkshire coastline.

The accommodation was excellent.

It was just very comfortable and a lovely place to return to after a day out. Namely, our own little house, without worrying about a hotel room. Although we did not use the facilities available on site, it was good to know that they were there. A very nice house, and the whole estate is a lovely relaxing setting which is very nicely done. A perfect location to stay, whether you went out each day or not.

Lovely cottage and location.

Freshly painted. Well equiped kitchen, which is great because we love to cook. Very comfortable beds. Wonderful big towels. Clean and comfortable. Good facilities. We would definitely recommend. Also we love the fact you can walk along the long beach to Filey and not have to get in the car. One small thing, that we noticed, that is common in different cottages, is we have to wash some of the kitchen crockery or pans etc, because the previous people haven't washed them very well, or the drainer. Maybe cleaners could check on this?

Really nice, clean & comfortable cottage.

We were snug & cosy- it had everything we needed other than a decent bread knife. The beds were really comfy. Great location- we had a fab time - a much needed break. We would highly recommend this cottage & would love to stay again.

Seadrift is a real home from home.

It had everything we needed, well decorated, lovely and clean and the beds were really comfy. Also it's not often you find a decent TV in a holiday home, but the TV there is a really nice fire TV which is useful on rainy days when you have kids. The owner, Kay was very helpful and just a text or call away. Will definitely stay again.
