The open-plan living area is quaint and well-equipped, featuring a kitchen with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals when you're not sampling the local fare.
Unwind in front of the TV from one of the classic armchairs, or enjoy warm weather in your own private fenced seating area with a refreshing drink, watching ponies graze peacefully in the nearby fields.

Just had a great week at Cowshed cottage.
It contained everything you need. Nice secure garden to let our dog out. Lovely setting looking across to the forest. Very pleasant sat at the table for a meal and looking across at the pet animals. The location is ideal for visiting the beaches as well as York. Next time we go to Yorkshire we will return to Cowshed cottage.
The accommodation was comfortable and clean.
The kitchen has all you need for cooking meals. Dish washer a bonus. The property is central to all attractions. We have dogs and the garden is secure for them to play in. The owners are on hand to assist you with any questions but we had none as everything was catered for. They even went out and brought us a bbq and coals. I would recommend staying here as it’s very peaceful and charming. Our view was like looking over a ranch with all the animals in the field across from us. You can see Dalby forest on the hills and the views are stunning from your patio. Go there you will not be disappointed.
Jade the owner was excellent greeted us when we arrived and was around the time we were there to answers questions and make recommendations on where to visit and eat.
The Cottage was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. The view from the table in the courtyard was beautiful. The weather was too hot! At 28 to 32 on the days and high teens on the night. A lovely venue and will hopefully go back.
