    “Cowshed cottage is a comfortable cosy cottage.”

    Views are good and seeing the goats,chickens and alpacas out in the field oppposite first thing in the morning was a good start to the day. The bed was very cmfortable. There are lots of places to visit not too far away. You also get free use of swimming pool which good. Coach & Horses in Rillington serves very good food and beer. Jade who runs the lets is very amicable and helpful. My wife,the dog and myself enjoyed the week staying there. Michael and Anne.

Rillington is a small village and civil parish located on the A64 road in North Yorkshire, with easy links to the historical city of York and the bustling coastal town of Scarborough. Rillington was mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Survey and is now home to a Post Office, two pubs, The Coach and Horses and The Fleece, and a church. The rural community was developed many years ago due to the presence of fertile soil and the village is still home to an active farming community. Nearby attractions include the Scampton Walled Garden, a contemporary garden open for visitors throughout the year, and the Wolds Way Lavender, a lavender farm and visitor centre.
