    “We loved our stay at East Cottage.”

    The property was perfect for our half term break and a good location to explore the surrounding area. The highlight was definitely the pool which we had access to directly from the cottage. The property is a great size for 2 adults and 2 children (but has some quite low ceilings to be aware of!) and has a secure outside area, great for our dog. Thankyou

After a day of exploring, kick back in the sitting room as you lounge on the sofa, tuning into the TV in search of your favourite programmes.

RILLINGTON

Malton 4.7 miles; Scarborough 18.5 miles; York 23 miles.

Rillington is a small village and civil parish located on the A64 road in North Yorkshire, with easy links to the historical city of York and the bustling coastal town of Scarborough. Rillington was mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Survey and is now home to a Post Office, two pubs, The Coach and Horses and The Fleece, and a church. The rural community was developed many years ago due to the presence of fertile soil and the village is still home to an active farming community. Nearby attractions include the Scampton Walled Garden, a contemporary garden open for visitors throughout the year, and the Wolds Way Lavender, a lavender farm and visitor centre. Further afield into the city of York, you can discover the incredible York Minster and grand city walls.
