Beech View

Lovely place to stay.

everything you need is in the cottage.smart tv,dvd player(some dvds there),air fryer, ice machine, combi microwave, toaster and kettle.lots of plates pots and pans.the fridge is big enough but no ice box.(not that it bothered us.very comfortable bed.comfy chairs.large garden and nice hot tub.close to numerous pubs and shops.try the hotel for a drink.we really have no complaints about our stay here.would defo recommend stopping here.

The booking process was extremely smooth and communication with the owner was very easy.

Beech View is small but perfectly formed and very well equipped with lots of thought and clever design it has everything you need, with the added bonus of a large hot tub in a private courtyard garden. Perfect for couples. It’s ideally located for a short stroll into Malton which has lots of eateries and independent shops and easy access to the Train station.

This cozy bijou accommodation was everything I expected and in the middle of December warm and comfortable temperature-wise.

A lot of thought with successful outcomes had gone into the interior and the garden, though not for me because of the time of year, was large and no doubt enjoyable in the summer months. Location was absolutely fantastic with no more than five minutes walk to the hub of Malton and no more than 60 seconds walk to the nearby hotel which was great, good food, interesting decor and very friendly.

Another lovely visit.

..The accomodation was clean, had everything we needed and was warm and welcoming..as usual!. The private hot tub and gorgeous garden is a delight in any weather and very relaxing. The location never dissapoints either...Malton has great shops, great pubs, great food and is right on the doorstep. This time we went on the train to York...fab value and also had a lovely wander around Dalby Forest...beautiful ...and only a short drive away. We love a stay here especially in the winter...and hope to return every winter for as long as we can...Thank you

We found the holiday home very quaint but covering all we required.

We loved the place and gave us room for us to do our holiday things. Recommend to others and we would be happy to come back again

Absolutely fantastic property.

Small but perfect for my needs. It is one room with a pull down bed. There is a toilet and shower and a kitchen area. What makes this place special is the extra effort the owner has gone to in order to make this place like a home from home. There is a small air fryer, and ice machine, full size fridge and a 2 ring hob. The microwave is also able to be used as an oven. There was a small amount of milk in the fridge, coffee and tea, Dish cloths and cleaning products were provided. The village is a few minutes walk where you can find many shops, cafes and pubs. The train station is a 15 minute walk away if you fancied a day further afield. The hot tub was a bonus in the beautiful garden and a designated parking space, will be returning.

What a lovely small compact place to stay.

Had everything we needed for a weekend away.

An excellent retreat in an attractive site with the additional treat of the hot tub!

Easily walkable into Malton and with places to visit nearby. Thank you!

Small but perfectly formed

This is our second stay at Beech View and definitely not our last.

Such a quaint cosy little cottage set in beautiful surroundings and has everything you could need for a short break with the added bonus of a comfortable bed and a hot tub. The cottage is just a short walk from the centre of Malton where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants and the train station which got us to York in under 30 minutes. Will book again soon and recommend for a relaxing getaway.

This was our 5th stay and we will definitely be back.

The minute the gate is shut you are in your own little world, especially with the fabulous hot tub. It is only small but the space is used effectively. It is well maintained and the owners are friendly and act promptly if you need them. Love this place!

What a perfect find this cottage had everything you could possibly need for a stay and extras like an ice machine ninja Very clean compact would definitely stay again the hot tub is a brilliant touch.

The property was lovely and clean, good location, lovely in hot tub watching the wildlife, we will be booking again in the near future regards Steve and Helen

Lovely little property, exactly how described and owners very attentive.

Felt really private and hot tube was prefect added bonus. Very close to Malton shops, bars and restaurants and comes with 1 parking spot. Property had everything you could ask for and more. We had the most relaxing stay and will definitely be returning again soon.

We have stayed here for the last 4 years and will continue to book in our annual pre Christmas break.

Lovely place to go explore Malton, Pickering or even Whitby and Scarborough or York.

The cottage and garden were the perfect little hideaway for out week in North Yorkshire.

The hot tub was fabulous . I only had the tiniest of niggles, I'm 5 2 so found it hard to easily reach the plugs and cupboards in the kitchen area, something my husband was laughing at all week, if there was a step stool somewhere, would have been handy for a shorty like me. If there is already one I'm sorry I missed it . Thank you for a wonderful place to stay ❤️

Having stayed in this little hide away, we are hoping to have many more stays in the future.

It's private and with birds that are friendly come to eat food put out for them. Bed is comfortable and in good condition. I requested a shower slip mat the 1st time and there was one provided in our 2nd visit. Everything we needed for a long or short break. Best jacuzzi we have used too. Mrs pickering is a lovely lady too.

Would like to say thank your for a lovely stay.

We loved everything about Beech View. This was like having a secret garden stay. Absolutely amazing! We will be back again

Really felt it was just a couple of nights for the hot tub stay, bed very comfy but no room to move when it was up, loads of unused drawers but no cupboard for cereal bread or anything that didn’t go in fridge, toilet and shower very tight.

The garden was lovely but the hot tub used most of it up , the hot tub was very good, and the owners were very nice. Wrong place for us I’m afraid due to age and ability

Everything about our stay at Beech View was perfect!

We loved our little home from home, we travelled by train and were well placed to explore the coast and York and then after a hard day's exploring, the hot tub was fantastic and the bed was so comfy!

Lovely little place to stay clean comfortably and with a lovely hot tub really enjoyed how private it was and so close to centre

Absolutely

Exactly as stated cosy cottage which is very compact but it does have everything you need.

The main plus points were the garden which has a big hot tub and is very private. The location is also great with pubs and shops within walking distance as is the train station which you can hop on to York or Scarborough. Only one suggestion maybe a few more pics of inside the cottage as I don't think you realise how small it is until you get there. We were out all days and didn't do much cooking, our preference is it perfect for a short break instead of a week bust if you like compact and cosy it's perfect.

The only downside to our stay is that 2 nights was not enough which was our fault entirely.

From when we arrived and opened up the wooden gate and stepped into the most glorious paradise garden it only continued to delight. The owners have thought of everything, tea/coffee and milk so a nice brew could be had on arrival, even an ice making machine for the all important drinks there after. The bed was extremely comfy, the cottage was warm and bright and immaculate. Best for us though was undoubtedly the hot tub..... Big enough for a football team, it was awesome!!! We would love to go back...... Just need to decide when.

The garden was beautiful!

Hot tub was brilliant and it was in a really good location. It was very compact inside but with it being great weather we didn't mind. Was really clean and the bed was comfy. Would definitely stay again

This is an amazing little cottage!

It has everything you could possibly need. They give you a little bit of milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee, sugar. It has luxuries like it has a ninja air fryer, an ice maker, a smart tv with Netflix on there, an the most important one a hot tub! The place was very private and very clean and I cannot fault it at all! The owners were lovely and welcoming. There is a folder in there will instructions for every appliance in the cottage and everything in there tells you everything you need to know for your stay! I definitely recommend Florios for food which is a 5 minute walk away as the food was incredible and service was excellent! There is so much to do around there and it is so peaceful. We had a power cut on the first night and the neighbours came into the garden after to make sure everything was back in and that we were okay. It was a lovely place to be and we will definitely be going back! 11/10 recommend!

So relaxing, beautiful garden, enjoyed watching the wildlife from the lovely hot tub.

The cottage was so cleverly thought out, amazing how much fitted in a small space but everything what was needed for a great stay.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage.

As described, lovely garden and hot tub. The fold down bed was really comfortable, upon folding down the bed it created a gap between the top of the bed and the wall. Bolster cushions were provided to fill the gap. We found these worked to a degree but not ideal. They were aware of this and asked for suggestions. I thought maybe some firm cut to size foam pieces would have been better. The cottage in general was very clean , however the shower floor appeared not to have been cleaned since last used. Maybe this had just been missed. Overall a beautiful private little cottage in a lovey location, two minute walk to the centre of Malton. Tip for anyone's birthday, sign up to the Talbot hotel birthday offer . If you eat on your actually birthday and can show proof , they give you a free main and desert off the main menu . Lovely hotel and delicious food there too.

Was a beautiful stay.

Perfect little house for a short break to recharge your battery's, they have utilised the space perfect. If your looking for a small break with your partner then I would definitely recommend. Thanks again

This is our 5th visit and it never disappoints.

It is the perfect get away, and the hot tub is brilliant no matter what the weather. We just switch off and recharge. The garden is lovely to relax in too and is so well kept. Can't wait until next year. Thank you!

Another lovely stay.

Beech View is an ideal base from which to enjoy and explore the area. We visited Castle Howard, Flamborough Head, Scarborough and the delights of Malton on the doorstep. Returning to Beech View after a lovely day out is a joy. It is warm, very clean, has every facility you need and the bed is comfortable with lovely fresh bedding that always smells lpvely!. The private garden with hot tub is a delight to sit in and enjpy a relaxing evening. Very friendly hosts and a fuss free check in. Thank you Brian and Libby. We hope to visit again. Bev & Kev

Needs a slip mat in the shower.

It was a bit slippy on the steps and getting into the hot tub. The electric socket next to the light needs securing. Table needs a bit of attention cos a bit loose. Be nice to have a couple of trays.

Absolutely fantastic little hideaway with lots of local facilities as needed.

If you are looking for a cosy little place with a beautiful garden away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then this is the place for you. We have stayed here for the last few years for a winter break and it never fails to give us exactly that.

Such a gorgeous little cottage, with a lovely secret garden and relaxing hot tub.

The bed was extremely comfy and the owners couldn’t have done anything better for us. The place had everything we needed, and Malton had loads of nice places to eat and supermarket was down the road. Just beautiful, would definitely go back

Could not of asked for anything more

This is a superb weekend getaway for a couple.

The residence is a converted barn/summerhouse which is very cosy and had tons of amenities including a small fridge, smart TV, 2 cooking hobs, convection oven microwave and an ice maker! There is a binder on arrival with lots of useful information about all the various machines and how to use them as well as providing tips for your stay and information around bedding/laundry etc. The garden is in a private courtyard with the main attraction being the hot tub - it's wonderful to relax in peace and quiet under the stars in a lovely picturesque way. The village itself is only a 3-5 minute walk downhill and has lots of good places to eat, local shops to explore and some great places to drink (I would recommend the brass castle taphouse). Will definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely week at Beech View.

The garden is beautiful and we used the hot tub daily. We travelled by train, and the station was only a short walk away. Location was ideal for us and there was plenty of places to eat and enjoy a good coffee. We got the train to Scarborough and there is also the coastliner bus. We didn't explore as much as planned as we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the garden, relaxing in the hot tub. The accomodation is compact but it is exactly as described. Wardobe and unit for clothing and there is an enclosed shower and a separate toilet. There is an airfryer, 2 ring hob, microwave, barbecue, cafetiere, toaster, iron and hair dryer. Towels provided plus spares and separate towels for the hot tub and a portable airer for drying outside. The bed was so comfy and we slept really well, open the french doors in the morning and listen to the birds sing. We thoroghly enjoyed our stay, would we return.....absolutely.

I have used Sykes Cottages for about 25yrs in the North Yorkshire moors area this cottage is the only one I've had a complaint with.

the main complaint was with the shower which didn't work very well, also the flexible pipe from the unit to the shower head was absolutely thick with black mould as was the jointing between the tiles and also the woodwork.the towels were in need of replacing some nice fluffy ones would better than the ones supplied. I made my remarks in the visitors book and vacated the premises 24 hrs early. Within 1hr of me leaving I received a text from the owner agreeing their were issues with the shower but because they were booked up back to back they hadn't time and as soon as they got a break they would attend to the issues, to me that isn't acceptable, there is no excuse for poor hygiene standards. The black mould in that shower cubicle has been gathering in there for months not weeks but I gave them a 24 hour break by leaving early, hopefully they will be able to tackle the problem ready for the next holiday maker.

A great property, the most private hot tub we have ever found in a gorgeous ‘secret garden’.

The property is small but is fully equipped with everything you need - we usually stay for a full week so have used the cooking equipment, entertainment etc. (the tv is logged into Netflix, Amazon prime etc, and there are dvds and books available). There is tea and coffee and a small jar of milk on arrival. Absolutely loads to do in and around Malton - some great cafes (would recommend ‘Leoni’s’ and ‘Lutt & Turner’), also The Talbot has a lovely terrace with great views if you get a sunny day! Easy train access to York and Scarborough - both worth a day trip. Also worth a walk out to wharram Percy medieval village with a picnic. Also some fab outdoor activities locally - we did Go Ape at Daley Forest and then hired mountain bikes, there were also lots of hiking routes there. I could go on! This was our second year and we will most likely be back again next year :)

We had a lovely stay.

The location, the lovely setting, the studio itself and the lovely private garden were perfect for our one week break. The studio is small but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners have really tried to think of everything. The bed pulls down from the wall but was very simple to use and very comfy with really nice quality bedding. We slept incredibly well. We cooked in on some days and enjoyed our breakfast and evening meals sitting in the garden. Even when it rained, we could keep the doors open and sit under cover, There are plenty of shops and supermarkets within walking distance and also a variety of places to eat out too. The setting was the main wow' for us. Looking out from the studio into the lovely garden with the lovely view of the hotel and it's grounds in the background was great, especially as the sun started to go down. We used the hot tub on several evenings. It was great, very relaxing. Someone mentioned the small bathroom as a negative. We didn't have an issue. There is a full size/full height shower and a loo with small sink. Both have doors and are private so as long as you are a couple who are used to sharing your spaces, I wouldn't let anything stop you enjoying this lovely place.

Extremely happy with our stay at Beech View.

Lovely and clean and equipped with everything needed for our short stay. Very peaceful, perfect for a quiet getaway. Hot tub was an added bonus. Would stay again and would recommend. Thank you.

Fantastic stay, the hot tub and private garden were the real selling point and the cottage itself had everything we needed.

Super comfy bed made for a lovely relaxing break. The owners clearly put a huge amount of effort into making the place perfect and we’re extremely attentive. Thank you Libby and Bri

Lovely little cottage,second stay.

It is very small but in good weather the garden makes up for that.Malton is a nice town but like others has lost quite a few pub/shops.Owners Brian and Libby very friendly and helpful

What a lovely idyllic little find, the most picture perfect cottage.

Everything you need to relax and unwind. Only a 2 minute walk from the town centre. Can not fault it. Would definitely stay again

Had a great stay the only thing I would say could make it easier is maybe a coffee machine but that’s a small thing x we enjoyed it and would return xx

so lucky had great weather for the 3 days loved the fact the hot tub got the sun all day less than 5 mins walk to the town

Had a lovely stay here, location was great and we thankfully had beautiful weather which made use of the outdoor space even better.

Bed was extremely comfy! And the hot tub was just what we needed after long days of walking If we were ever in the area again I would definitely be back

Booked for a week and only stayed 2 nights.

Not for us, photos of bathroom facilities need to be added to site, I would not have booked had I seen pictures. Chairs not comfortable. I realise it has limited space but everything was an effort. Hot tub was nice.

Another fantastic get away at Beech View.

Only slight hiccup was an issue with the Hot Tub one night, but the owners were prompt in getting it looked into, and working fully again. We really can't fault anything at all except that our stay went too quickly!

Excellent little cottage with everything you need complete with hot tub.

Would definitely like to go back again.

Lovely homely cottage.

Excellent facilities. Very clean and garden also very neat and tidy. Nice to watch the birds on the feeders each day and even the squirrel enjoying his self. Clear access instructions by text.

The property was lovely, well equipped and clean.

We had a lovely relaxing stay.

Such a gorgeous location - lots to do around Malton and easy access via trains and busses.

The garden and hot tub are very private and parking was not an issue. Would absolutely recommend and will likely stay here ourselves again!

Lovely relaxing stay.

Property was clean and had everything we needed and more...Bed very comfortable and sheets smelled lovely! Beautiful garden and the hot tub was to die for! A couple of points that would add to the comfort factor for everyone...In the rain, the hot tub could still be used if it had some kind of cover/shelter overhead and given this is Yorkshire this would be beneficial. Also the reclining chairs may benefit from seat cushions or new seat pads as they have been well used and not as comfortable as they were....especially for us oldies... Apart from that, a lovely stay. Thank you.

My partner and I had a 4 night stay between Xmas and New Year and we absolutely loved it.

The accommodation was easy to access, it was spotlessly clean and exactly as described on the website. The hot tub was a god send after spending our days site seeing and walking in the cold and rain. The facilities within the cottage are just right. There is a hot shower (and it is hot) and an integrated fridge and even an air fryer which you can cook almost anything in as well as a two ringed hob. The cottage is just a short walk from the town centre and local amenities. You get a designated parking space. Overall, it was just what we needed and we would definitely use again if our travels took us back to that area of Yorkshire.

Absolutely perfect.

What a lovely little hideaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Cottage is clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. This isn't the first time we have enjoyed this cottage and it certainly won't be the last. Situated perfectly to enjoy places such as Pickering, Whitby, Scarborough and York. Steeped in history and amble restaurants to sample. Owners couldn't do more to provide you with this excellent retreat.

Lovely couples' retreat.

Very private, and the hot tub was nice and hot. There are lots of great restaurants in town too, which is only a 3 minute walk down the road. I would definitely recommend it!

Great little place very private and hot tub a bonus, we will be back.

This property was lovely!

☺️So close to town!

So glad I found this, was such a cute little cottage.

It had everything you needed from an air fryer to an ice machine. Loved the garden beautifully kept. The hot tub was great, the only criticism I would give is to have a cover so it can be used in all weather? Maybe a retractable cover so it could be used when it rains or if too sunny? But that's just my suggestion.

Great little cottage in an excellent location.

We loved the stay and the ease of arrival. The cottage was Everything you need in one small package, with the added bonus of the hot tub which was definitely an incentive to booking. Will recommend the Beech view to anyone who asks us about it. Would like to think we could stay there again when next in the area.

Fabulous little place.

Very private, quiet and peaceful. Very clean with everything you need. Hot tub is a real bonus! Close to transport and amenities, so best of both worlds. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Garden is wonderful and very well kept, an absolute pleasure to sit in. We will hopefully be able to book again, and look forward to returning.

It is a fabulous little place which makes me relax as soon as the gate closes.

It is so well maintained both inside and out. We have been 3 times now and intend to make it a yearly thing. The bolster cushions for the bed gap are a great idea by the way and work well. Can't wait to come back!

We had a lovely stay at Beech View, a great location in the centre of Malton, minutes walk away from local pubs and shops.

Also a good base to get the train to York for the day. The accommodation was cosy, a good size for two, and we really enjoyed the hot tub and garden. Good off road parking too.

It was a very nice laid out cottage ,with a nice outdoors private garden and hot tub ,all round ideal location for visiting places of interest in and around Malton ,Walk to train station for visits to York and Scarborough and Castle Howard ,

This small cottage is perfectly thought out.

It is well equipped, cosy, comfortable and in a great location. We could walk to the train station and countless restaurants. We loved the gin school. We loved the hot tub in that beautiful garden with its beautiful back drop. It was so relaxing. We can highly recommend a magical stay here.

The cottage and hot tub were a great last minute find, the little garden was lovely and the cottage well furnished and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was a great base for exploring York and the coast.

Went for our anniversary.

Cottage looked fine at first, however, the place had cobwebs everywhere and spiders hanging all over. Had to remove 2 massive spiders. Couldnt reach all the cobwebs. For the money you pay the accomodation should have had a thorough clean and cobwebs etc removed! Nightmare.

We enjoyed our week at beech view and found the surrounding area a tranquil place to relax and recharge our batteries.

The hot tub and garden were great of an evening to spend time in after exploring the area during the day, we would love to return again.

lovely weekend away

Loved everything about it.

Location, comfort, and cleanliness

2nd visit and we love it everything you need is here garden is lovely and 5min walk into Malton and plenty of places to visit .

we went to the royal oak for a meal it was lovely and reasonable priced .saw lots of rabbits and squirrel s In the old lodge ground and called in there once or twice for s drink we will be back hopefully at the end of the year

Wanted a few days away where we wanted to relax and escape the hussle, Beech View was perfect.

It's small and quirky, but in a good way. The owner really went above and beyond where an outside chair broke on the first day, the next morning we woke to find a brand new patio set was in place. Spent most evenings relaxing in the courtyard garden and hot tub, just what was needed

The cottage was in the most perfect setting set back in the grounds of the Old Lodge hotel, it was spotlessly clean there was everything we needed for our short break away from all the bustle of the last year in lockdown, There was a large gate which was key safe secure so no one was able to come and go without you noticing the enclosed secret garden was beautiful and so peaceful just what we needed.

And the Hot Tub was spacious big enough for four, plenty of outdoor seating barbecue and even a putting golf for two in summer with all the flowers in their full glory would make a lovely backdrop for those nights in the Hot Tub with a good book and a glass of wine. Would definitely recommend this little haven and will be going back soon

Wonderful cozy hide away!

Felt totally relaxed and refreshed after our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay at Beech View!

Owners very friendly and helpful, good base for exploring area then relaxing in hot tub

Fantastic break in this quaint little cottage.

What you see is what you get. Garden is well kept and secluded. Hot tub is great. Will definitely be going back, looking for suitable dates at the moment. Highly recommended

Wanted a relaxing Break, Got exactly what we wanted, Although small and compact it has all that you require, Outside space is really nice with a Fantastic Hot Tub, Owners are next door so if you have any issues(which we didn't) they can be contacted easily, Check in is arranged through the owners and is easy and straightforward.

All amenities are within walking distance, Will book again as well as recommending to family and Friends.

We had a wonderful break at Beechview and would like to stay again in the future.

Beechview is small and compact but very comfortable and met all our needs. The garden is lovely and the pictures don’t do it justice, hot tub is fab and a great way to relax after a day out. Overall we had a fantastic stay and look forward to visiting again in the near future!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Beech View.

It is very private and had everything we needed and the hot tub was amazing! Will be returning in the near future

The cottage is small and compact - it has everything it needs and is very cosy.

It was the perfect getaway for a few days. The hot tub is completely private and the perfect place to look at the stars (providing there are no clouds). The bed was really comfortable too!

Fabulous location, accessible by train which made day trips easy.

Love the AstroTurf in the pretty walled garden. Second visit and will be back again. Although reading through the visitor book we may be in for a fight

What an amazing little place.

Had a 4 night Xmas getaway in this little place. Totally loved it. So peaceful and yet a 5 mins walk to the town. Prosecco and chocolates awaited us on our arrival. Great hosts and superb hot tub. Lots to see and do and the seaside is a short car ride. Highly recommend beechview as a perfect place to chill out and enjoy the countryside

Absolutely beautiful place, peaceful and stress free.

Was for my partners 30th birthday and they owners left gifts and a card with was a lovely touch. Would 100% reccomend and definitely book again.

Value for money was amazing, our hosts truly know who their audience are and how to make them happy.

So impressed with the attention to detail, and also with the ease of using the app, making the booking and payments. Everything was professional and simple.

We enjoyed everything, lots of places to visit and not to far away people very friendly all in all a lovely 2 days away

Excellent location for this cosy little cottsge Views of the garden anazing, lovved listening to the birds and chilling in the hot tub Centrslly placed to explore the cade / bars of Malton or further adueld such as Scarborough, which we visited Fab break for our wedding Anniversary Will definitely recommend snd ve back Em & Dave

You made mine and my partners first break away together perfect.

We could not fault Beech View, we was so cosy with everything you need. We Enjoyed relaxing in the Hot Tub. The area is lovely. We also got ok weather for October. Thank You.

a fabulous little hideaway very compact but everything needed is available described in one word .

.perfect ..

The owners were attentive but unobtrusive - every day the garden was swept and watered and the hot tub sorted but not while we were there.

The attention to detail was great, lovely bedding and towels, pots and tubs in the garden, smart tv, books and dvd's in case we got bored; we just needed our own clothes and toiletries. Well done to the owners, another great Sykes cottage for us.

Beech View is a superb holiday cottage.

We feel as if we have had a real break- the property itself is amazing- a tiny hidden cottage in a magical secret garden. The hot tub is an added luxury & the owners are nearby & can be contacted if necessary. Malton is a lovely town and we enjoyed exploring the various cafes, bars & restaurants for which it is renowned. It was very easy to take the train to York for the day & we also had a drive to Whitby. We will definitely be returning to this cottage and will be recommending it to many friends.

The garden is far more beautiful than the pictures show and the owners are laid back and friendly.

Perfect for a long weekend.

The Hot Tub was everything we had hoped for and more, it left us relaxed, pain free (in my case) and therapeutic.

Libby and Brian were excellent hosts and very responsive to any issue we had despite a very recent bereavement. We could not fault it on anything (not that we were looking to). the cottage was well equipped and comfortable, the garden was a mini oasis which added to the pleasure of our visit.

Perfect little get away !

Definitely will be going again!

The weekend break we had in this little hideaway was perfect in every way, very relaxing a beautiful little cottage and the hot -Tub was fantastic a great location, lots to see in North Yorkshire, quick easy to walk to the centre of the village the Hotel that the cottage is in the grounds of was also superb lovely people very attentive to the needs of guest we had a lovely meal at the Old Lodge Hotel Saturday night.

an excellent little find beech View Cottage we will be back....

We were made to feel really welcome and the stay was fantastic.

We would highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely little cottage.

It's only small but they have made great use of the space and everything is clean and comfortable. The little extras they provide make all the difference : tea, coffee, milk, salt + pepper, washing up liquid, tea towel, hand wash, toilet rolls and plenty of towels are all provided. The hot tub was amazing (even in the rain) and was in a lovely garden that would have been nice to sit out in if we had better weather. I can not recommend Beech View Cottage strongly enough and will definitely be going there again soon.

We had the most perfect weekend away and beech view cottage definitely exceeded our expectations.

The garden and hot tub was the highlight. So pretty and secluded... we had lots of prosecco in there! Everything is compact in the cottage, but it’s a well set out space. Light and clean and the bed was so cosy. Everything was in walking distance. Train station only 7 minutes away. We’d recommend The Cross Keys pub for some great home cooked food and a nice atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back in the summer.

Had an amazing weekend at Beech View with its great location for a little day trip to Whitby and a visit to Eden Camp, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed.

With Malton and Old Malton around the corner there is your choice of eateries and pubs. We found The Cross Keys in Malton on the Main Street where the food was superb, and the beer was also delicious with, welcoming friendly staff also. Every evening we were in the hot tub. Privacy was complete and was so nice and relaxing. We saw 3 Barn Owls in the trees - mum dad and baby as they all got together before taking off. Amazing memories! We will definitely be looking to make another visit to Beech View!

Amazing little cottage .

Has everything you need and more . Owners very welcoming and helpful . Couldn't ask for more .

An enjoyable stay.

A great base for visiting surrounding places and attractions. Very well equipped but really compact indoor space however the outdoor space and hot tub were lovely and more than made up for that. Helpful owners. Overall we feel this is good value for money and would stay again.

Beech View was perfect.

We had a lovely couple of days relaxing on the lead up to our wedding. Would definitely return.

My partner and I stayed here for 8 days in December.

It's a lovely little place, Malton is lovely and York is not far away. Would love to go back and visit in the summer. Not really any complaints more personal opinion and possible improvements...the bed was way to soft, really uncomfortable for us, 4 of the drawers in the furniture dont work which we really missed since it was so small, it was really cold the panel heater was cracked and the gas fire had to be on all the time to keep the heat. We absolutely loved everything else. What a fabulous place.

Great wee hideaway for couples of all ages.

This cottage is beautiful!

Secluded garden with little extra touches by the owners that make it stand out.

Fantastic location to visit North Yorkshire from.

Accommodation was lovely, even a jug of milk in the fridge on arrival. Would really recommend to couples looking for a little hideaway.

Brilliant location close to train station.

Hot tub and privacy excellent. Lovely little town really enjoyed our week.

What a little gem this cottage is,small but cosy it has everything you need.

the garden is spectacular in full bloom and attracts butterflies and birds galore.the area is superb with so many places to visit.we had the best time ever.

Beautiful private garden with a great hot tub.

The Cottage was small but had everything we needed, the only thing I would say it could do with thicker curtains the weather was very good and the sun came through the windows at 4 am so it was like trying to sleep outside in bright day light but having said that we had a great fortnight very relaxing. Would recommend it. The garden was just perfect.

Great area for exploring Yorkshire.

Public transportation links are good and great food locally. Nice beer and people. Beech View is a hidden gem and the hot tub made it that little bit more special.
