What guests are saying
We just loved Hawthorn House from the moment we walked through the door.
It's a great location within easy driving distance of beaches and countryside. You can also explore the local area on foot and enjoy the local countryside. The house is very spacious with lovely decor and comfortable beds and two very relaxing sitting rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and the Welcome pack was very welcome! We had a dog with us and the property is very secure for pets. We just loved our time there and as we left I was looking at the diary to see when we could return!
This is a spacious well equipped house in a very quiet location.
There was lots of hot water, and the parking was good on the the road. It is in an excellent location for easy access to all the coastal villages and the moors. The sitting room had comfy seating for 4 people and the TV room had comfy seating for 3 people, which was great for us as there were three of us.
A lovely house, a clean, tidy, home from home.
Everything we needed for a short stay and a lovely welcome basket. Perfectly situated to visit Whitby, (20 minutes by car), Runswick Bay and Staithes (8/10 minutes.) A beautiful quiet village with a very welcoming local pub, we really enjoyed the quiz night on Sunday, landlord and locals so friendly. Thanks for having us.
