“The house was very well situated for visiting York centre, in an attractive local area with local shops, pubs and restaurants and a good park and play area nearby.”

The house was quirky and cozy, even with the many stairs. The only negative experience, which somehow spoiled our visit, was when we were leaving the property. We were taking the last few items out of the house maybe 2 - 3 minutes after 10 am (check out time). Our cases were already outside on the path. We were met by one of the owners of the house who was clearly annoyed that we were still on the property after 10 am. In fact we felt very much in the way and we were not asked at all about our stay, which we felt was inappropriate considering that we were paying costumers. No even "a safe journey" was uttered as we left. Our very short delay in leaving the property was perhaps due to the fact that we were travelling with two small children!
