This accommodation is ideal for people with pets.

Our overall view of the place is perfect. Very clean and tidy it's a home from home. That's why we have already booked it for 2 weeks next year.

Super apartment, spacious,very clean, everything you need is provided and more,great courtyard to let your dog out, all fenced off.

The extra little items provided by Ben made it an extra treat. The apartment and Ben were great. Would highly recommend 100% Thank you

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a lovely location.

Everything you could possibly need for self catering although we don't cook on holiday everything is there if you want to. Short walk to all attractions in Scarborough and plenty of restaurants and takeaway places. Peasholm park is a few minutes walk away as is the beach, perfect for walking your dog. We had a lovely holiday.

Overall the Flat was in great shape , my only problem was the entrance the the property , this could do with spucing up as looked dirty .

Lovely apartment.

Everything you need. Just a bit damp throughout. It rained and water came in next to the dining table and the left side of the wall at the back door. Would definitely stay again

This was our second stay here in just three months, which already says a lot.

We had a great experience both times. The host reached out to let us know early check-in was possible — something they also kindly offered during our previous stay, though I forgot to mention it then. It was incredibly convenient for us and much appreciated. Overall, still a very positive impression and we would gladly come back again.

Beautiful apartment with everything you need for your stay.

Shame the bathroom is so small but it’s only preference. The bedding was very thick in the warm weather but would definitely be appreciated in colder months. Overall we had a fab stay and would book again. The little welcome pack that was left (crumpets, butter, popcorn, tea, coffee etc) was much appreciated ☺️

I wish i had known that the apartment was down a flight of stairs and not ground floor It would have been useful to know that level access was available from the back door There was no parking out front

My daughter and I absolutely love staying in this holiday apartment, it's the second time of staying here.

It ticks so many boxes for us, the location is great the facilities are excellent and the attention to detail by the owner is second to none. Everything in the apartment is really good quality, it has everything you need for a really relaxing holiday and the cherry on top is that it's dog friendly. Both times we had a welcome text to say the apartment was ready and the owner has put together a really useful guide for local facilities, emergencies and things to do, thank you Ben we appreciate the effort and hope to stay again in the near future. The apartment is lovely and very well equipped. The location is excellent. The apartment is clean and the Welcome pack was a great bonus. Would certainly recommend.

Flat was really lovely bedroom lounge and kitchen fantastic only one problem with the shower kept going really hot then really cold.

Could do with sorting out. Otherwise fantastic lovely location and back door an absolute God send. We are booked again for July really looking forward to it. Mr and Mrs Jackson

Excellent location, everything you need, although we never used any cooking facilities, easy walking distance to everything in scarborough, will be back.

Lovely stay again we like being on one floor very comfortable always think there could be improvements but difficult to see where booked again for later this year

Very stylish and proper home from home with everything you could possibly need. Very quiet and peaceful in a great location. We have already recommended it for next April to friends of ours. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

The property was more than we hoped for.

We were so impressed with the level of equipment provided,from the dog bed to the food mixer,the selection of games to the dvd,s. The thaught displayed by the owner when equipping the accommodation was excellent. The bed is by far the most comfortable bed ever. Everything was as described and more. Sadly we had to leave early as a problem arose meaning we left some food items behind. We messaged the owner who was most understanding. We wish him well. It goes without saying that we will return un the future.

A well maintained well equipped very clean and very suited to those of us who need accomodation without steps or stairs plenty of space and very modern and comfortable we will be back

Before booking check if building work is still ongoing in adjacent property as Monday until Friday building starts at 8am until 7 pm otherwise a lovely flat near park and seafront .

This should be mentioned in the property details as you can then make a decision if this would bother you as it did us .Would return if building work has been completed owner was understanding and fair with us as this is not his fault.

I found the property to be exactly as advertised, Very clean, stylish.

The apartment was lovely.

Fixture and fittings were good and the apartment had everything you needed to cook etc. It was very clean on arrival and included a welcome pack which was a nice surprise.

This little gem of a find.

The retreat is located perfectly in the North bay part of Scarborough. Few minutes walk to the beach. It has everything you need home from home. The bathroom is tiny but adequate. Cute little sitting out area. We will definitely look to book again if we come to Scarborough. Would recommend. Above floor creaked when people walked about. But apart from that all good.

Can’t fault a single thing.

To the very grateful welcome pack (after being stuck on the A66 for over an hour) was brilliant being able to get a cup of tea and gather ourselves. Perfect for the beautiful north beach and peasholme park. Our dog was in heaven. Excellent cafes and bars nearby.

Lovely property in a great location and very well equipped.

Nice touch with the welcome pack. Although the visit was a disaster for us, as my Wife had a very nasty fall on the first morning we were there and spent the first day, all day in A&E at Scarborough Hospital. Unfortunately had to return home the following day as my Wife had really bad injuries to her face and was in a lot of Pain. Spoke to Ben the owner to let him know we were leaving early and kindly advised it may well be prudent to provide emergency numbers in the information guide and to also provide a First Aid Kit. We were very lucky we took ours with us. All in all, despite all this we would love to re-visit at some point.

On arrival through the front door I had some reservations due to the hall and the stairs being very dark.

However, when we entered the appartment it was lovely. Furnished to a high standard, comfortable and plenty of room. The welcome pack was good. The back door was a blessing and we used it all the time. Parking excellent as it is early season but fear in the height of the summer it wouldn't be. A few extra mugs and other crockery would be good as only 3 mugs left but I did buy another white mug and left it there. I know it is for two adults but it would mean we wouldn't have to wash up as much and would use the dishwasher like we do at home. Situated in an area that's close to the North Bay and only 15mins into town. We have been coming to Scarborough since 1985 and will definately be coming back to North Bay Retreat.

The property was lovely clean and had everything you would need for your holiday Lovely modern lighting throughout and no problem connecting to Internet.

The accommodation was excellent.

Using the back entrance door was far easier and perhaps should go in the literature. The apartment was very convenient for the town centre, Peasholme Park and the Sea Front.

Great place to stay, location really good, comfortable & clean with a much appreciated welcome pack.

Using the back entrance, it's just a short walk down the hill to The Hideout, a One Stop shop, Fish & Chips shop & Bella Rosa. Go up the road to the brew pub & down from there takes you to the beach to your right, Peasholm park to your left & outdoor theatre straight across!

Our second visit to this lovely comfortable apartment, very well situated, handy for shopping and beach.

So happy with the stay at North Bay, the flat was wonderful, clean, and comfortable with lovely decor.

The welcome pack was a really nice touch we will definitely stay here again the location is great for coastal walks and a stones throw from Peasholm Park and 20 min walk to the town centre and South Bay over the moon. The people next door did party from10pm until 7am from Saturday night not your fault. Thank you so much Dave and Andrea Anderson

North Bay retreat was a wonderful stay with everything in the property excellent quality and very very cozy.

I felt like I needed a degree to operate the cooker and thermostat but Ben had provided manuals for all appliances so no excuse. It smelled lovely and fresh on entering and very clean which is a must for me. Very good value for money and would definitely return and recommend to others thank you Ben and cleaner. Only negative was there was no dishwasher tablets or wash tablets but not a problem I bought a cloth and washed by hand as I don't have a dishwasher at home.

We found the apartment to be welcoming on entering with the heating and subtle lighting already on. We were very pleased to see you had accommodated for our every need even for our dog with good quality furnishings and fittings, providing all the amenities we would require during our stay even down to the toilet roll

The apartment was perfect.

It is beautiful and every aspect is taking care off. Love the personal touch too. Great location too. My only niggle is that maybe let people know that work is being done next door. The noise goes on from first thing in the morning to late at night some nights. It wouldn’t have made a difference to my booking as I love staying there but I would have changed some plans to stay out until the workmen had finished for the day.

Wow, when you first walk in, it smells so fresh.

Always a good start. Modern feel, stylish decor, well presented. It feels like everything was catered for and thought about, even the text from the owner Ben, on the day of arrival to say we vould get in a couple of hours early. Would definitely stay again and absolutely reccomend to anyone who is not sure.

The property was very clean and well equipped with all basic Essentials - cleaning products ,bin bags, tin foil, t.

bags, hand wash, T.roll, washing up liquid , salt n pepper, all appreciated when holidaying via public transport. The lounge seating was lovely n comfortable with large tv screen for cosy nights in. Shower good, we couldn’t turn temperature up much ,it appeared set, but it was warm enough for us . Bedroom was a good size with a comfy bed and lovely clean fresh white bedding. The welcome pack was a very nice touch. Having a back exit was ideal as steps down to basement a bit steep especially with suitcases. The guest book reflects on people’s lovely stays at NBRetreat which shows the thought and care the owner has put in to the apartment to ensure guests have a lovely holiday Overall we enjoyed our stay, would definitely book again and hopefully come with a new little dog next time. Flat finished to high standard and spotlessly clean.

Kitchen well equipped and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Secure courtyard was safe for the pup and nice for us to sit outside. Ben, the owner obviously takes great pride in the property. Good location very close to the beach, Peasholm Park and several places to dine, shops a short walk and a cinema nearby.

As I'm disabled the ground floor access was ideal the only problem I had any difficulty with was the toilet being so close to the shower glass. Nice modern apartment.

Totally amazed by this property.

Unsure about booking a basement apartment but the standard of the accommodation was so high we were blown away. The owners have put such a lot of thought into everything, quality furnishings and equipment. Nice touch with having Netflix set up on both tv's. Welcome pack much appreciated, bed, bowls and treats for the dog as well. Parking permits an added bonus.

Fantastic apartment in a great location in North Bay right a few hundred yards to Peasholm Park and the beach.

All amenities catered for lovely comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and underfloor heating throughout, would highly recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail in the property.

And very grateful for the use of the back door, I don’t do stairs very well these days. Lovely modern touches like underfloor heating and the ceiling lighting, so stealing that idea. Close to everything we needed but far enough so no great crowds. And the added touch of a Walrus visiting at the same time was awesome.

Beautiful flat, very comfortable and well equipped.

The flat was very fantastic it has a lovely little yard nice big bedroom and the bed was very comfortable both bedroom and living room had a big tv with Amazon Netflix and Freeview the kitchen had everything you need and there were full jars of coffee tea and sugar and coffee pods for machine the welcome pack was fantastic we take our dog and she was pampered too dog bed bowls and treats you get a parking card so make sure you park on road not at the back were it’s say residents only has we were told by one resident that we were no allowed just two doors down is the cafe they do lovely food not far from beach 5 minutes walk only there for 3 nights but fantastic holiday and well worth the money well done Ben you made my anniversary the best
