The property

This spectacular property, Craigmore, enjoys a privileged vantage point overlooking the sea and the seaside community of Sandsend in North Yorkshire.

Craigmore offers a fantastic spot to call home while on holiday along Yorkshire's stunning Heritage Coastline, with unparalleled vistas and sought-after off-road parking.

Head inside to find a kitchen that is well-equipped for home cooking and a separate dining area that is ideal for mealtimes.

Following a hearty meal, start the dishwasher before relaxing in the lounge, which has plenty of sitting and impressive views that will make you want to go out and explore.

A terrace located at the top of the multi-level garden provides outdoor seating so you can enjoy dinner with a view.

When the night rolls in, discover the king-size room with zip/link beds, a double with dual aspect windows and elevated views, and a beautiful single, all upstairs.

Start your morning routine in either of the two bathrooms or shower room before going about your day.

Why not go out for dinner at the Fish Cottage followed by a drink at the Hart Inn, both of which are situated just a moments stroll away?

A well-stocked store selling groceries, deli items, fresh bread, dairy products, and newspapers is also nearby.

On a warm day, pack up your beach essentials and stroll down to the award-winning beach, where you can kick back on the golden sands while the little ones build sandcastles and go rock-pooling.

Alternatively, lace up your walking boots and join the stunning Cleveland Way National Trail, which winds through beautiful landscape and scenery.

Whitby is three miles away, where you may spend time exploring the Whitby Sea Front, learning about the past at Whitby Abbey, or practising your swing at the Whitby Golf Club.

A little farther on is the hustle and bustle of Scarborough, which is home to the well-known Scarborough Castle, the Italian Gardens, and Peasholm Park, all of which are charming locations to explore while taking it easy by the sea.

Craigmore enjoys a superb situation along the North Yorkshire coast.

About the location

SANDSEND

Whitby 2.5 miles.

Lying on Yorkshire's spectacular Heritage Coastline, Sandsend is the ideal place for a family holiday with its award winning, wide sweeping beaches, rock pools and dramatic cliffs. Indeed this part of the coastline is known locally as the Dinosaur Coast because of the many fossils found here. Children will enjoy damming the little beck where it crosses the beach to form a freshwater lagoon - great (and safe) for paddling and boating! For the more energetic the village sits on the lovely long distance Cleveland Way Trail, which offers great off-road cycling along the disused coastal railway as well as breathtaking clifftop walks. The National Trust now own the nearby headland, Sandsend Ness, where there is a delightful nature trail in the old quarry pits. A special place offering something for everyone!

Please note: Please advise us, before your stay, if you wish for the super-king-size bed to be left as it is, or unzipped to make a twin.
Note: Property will not be decorated for Christmas
