Stunning, luxury three bedroom lodge with outside space and beautiful decor beautiful Runswick Bay, a stroll from the picturesque beach We love this decor - so elegant and stylish, yet homely and comfortable with a backdrop of pine trees and the advantage of a garden and a wonderful large wrap-round veranda - perfect for al fresco dining!

Our stay at lobster lodge was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 very young children and a dog

It was really clean, had everything we needed and is perfectly positioned close to the beach, cliffs and pubs of Runswick. It felt like a very luxurious cabin, with a generous welcome basket full of treats. Booked to stay again next year! Thanks, Lizzie

Great week in this lovely, well equipped lodge. Located within easy walking distance to beach, pubs and coastal path. Also ideal for exploring the wonderful Yorkshire coastline and quaint seaside villages. Lovely welcome pack on arrival and a tasty mid-week treat of fruit pie from Louise. Thanks.
Mr Adkins
We had a lovely week at Lobster Lodge with the family. The Lodge is very comfortable and clean. The owners are lovely and provided a lovely welcome pack and a delicious tart mid week. The lobsters were delicious which they cooked and dressed for us. I highly recommend this Lodge for everything including it's location. Thank you Terry and Louise. Sue and family
Mrs Walker

Mrs Caie
Fantastic property and stay! The owner goes above and beyond the call of duty and is a pleasure to deal with. We were a group of 5 (mix of 70-80 years old and a couple of young uns in their 40s!) Beds were comfortable. Location is lovely. Short stroll to the beach (although it's extremely steep!), to part of the Cleveland Way and nearby pubs. Also a great "base" for jumping in the car and exploring further afield. Thoroughly recommend!
Miss Turner
Absolutely lovely place to stay. Runswick Bay itself is very quiet but ideally located to explore North Yorkshire. We had a food shop delivered by both Tesco and Sainsburys (both fine). The owner does check in on your arrival to ensure that everything is ok and will recommend things that are of interest to you. The owner does also mow the lawns whilst you are there. The Runswick lodge area is very quiet. Not recommend for people that are looking for lively holiday.
Mrs Parker
What a fabulous week. Louise couldn't have been more welcoming. The lodge is beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean and ideally situated. Needless to say there are great places to see & some lovely places to eat, our favourite being Ellerby Inn (only 1 mile away) and Runswick Bay is the most gorgeous un-spoiled little village, with a great pub/hotel (the Royal). Would not hesitate to recommend.
Mrs Wells
Absolute fabulous holiday. Everything perfect. Booked the lodge again for June. The lodge is very very well equipped with lovely furniture. Couldn’t find a fault. The owners were so kind and Louise made a gorgeous sweet for us mid week. Good welcome pack too. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful lodge. Highly recommended. Fabulous walks nearby with or without a dog and lots of good pubs and places to visit not far away.

Mrs O' Neill
The lodge was in the best position on the site, with all round sunshine and plenty of outdoor space. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The owners, who live locally, were friendly and helpful and provided special touches like a welcome pack and a surprise mid week treat! It is ideal for walkers as it is next to the Cleveland Way and with the beach, Whitby, Sandsend, Staithes and the moors nearby there is plenty to explore. The site is quiet, so a relaxing, time-out holiday is also possible.
Mrs Harrison
The lodge is so comfortable and ideally placed to explore the local area. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and made us feel very welcome. The owners, Terry and Louise, were very helpful with any problems we had during the week. We'll definitely return.
Mr Adams
We had a lovely week at Lobster Lodge. The lodge is stylish and very comfortable. Comfy beds and a powerful shower. The decking area is a real sun trap so we enjoyed coming back from a day out, sitting in the sun with a G&T and enjoying the view of the hills. The location is great too, very quiet but easy access to the beach and coastal path. 4 pubs/restaurants within walking distance as well. Would definitely recommend.
Mrs Holmes
Excellent in every way. Very very clean. A credit to the cleaners and owner.
Mr Davey

Wonderfully appointed accommodation and everything worked! Found some good pubs: Breack House and Little Angel in Whitby the 3 in Staithes. Great Lobster , Captain Cook and Royal George, and the best of all the Stiddy in Lythe. We were lucky with the weather; made good use of the patio. Thanks Terry and Louise for your hospitality
