The apartment is immaculate, comfortably furnished and well equipped. The sea views from the lounge and bedroom top off what is a really well situated and presented apartment which is a credit to its hosts. Highly recommended for a couple wishing to spend time in the pleasant town of Saltburn and surrounding area.

“The flat was lovely, extremely well looked after and immaculate.”

It was very well equipped with everything utensil you could possibly need for throughout your stay. The only negative from our point of view were the stairs which were a little challenging, however this was no fault of the listings I was aware but didn’t realise how steep they would be, and this did not detract to much from us having a very nice week.

The apartment was spotless as always. Thankyou to Julia for the welcome basket and for being such a wonderful host. It was so comfortable and cosy , and for Oct we were so lucky with the weather it was extremely mild ! A real bonus! ….we love Saltburn and Bluewater is so conveniently situated it’s close to shops and a short walk to the beach. And a lovely view out of the window . It’s easy to get to other places for runs out ….we actually ventured to Seaham this time to the famous glass beach….would highly recommended a visit! We love it at the ship Inn….lovely views out to sea and very friendly staff … We cooked each day in the well equipped kitchen , Julia’s thought of everything to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. There’s no doubt we shall be returning again …..we really love it. And on street free parking is plentiful it’s always easy to find somewhere to park.

Lovely location with sea views. Perfectly situated, short walk to beach or town centre. Lovely walks on beach - we walked to Marske and Redcar. Saltburn has plenty of good places to eat if you don’t fancy cooking.

The owner provided a pleasant welcome pack which is something of a rarity these days. The picture shown on the website is of the modern flats which leads you to believe it is one of those. It is an older property and the address is clearly given as Diamond Street, not Marine Parade. The stairs could be problematic carrying a case up if you are elderly or not physically able. All of this said the owner was very helpful and contacted us to check that we were okay when we had a violent storm that lasted the whole day. The description of where the property is, is accurate you just have to read carefully and have a little local knowledge.

“Had a wonderful stay at Bluewater ….”

This is our second visit! The apartment was spotlessly clean. Julia is such an attentive host and provides everything you could need to make your stay a very comfortable and happy one. Milk in the fridge for your arrival , teabags and coffee etc. some lovely little extras too that are very thoughtful and much appreciated. This is such a lovely place to stay it’s conveniently situated to get to so many places out and about. It’s so comfortable and cosy ! It couldn’t be better placed , practically right on the seafront…. With lovely seaviews out of the windows ….shops within easy walking distance. Easy to park. Lots of free on street parking ! I Really can’t say enough good things about Bluewater we’ve loved being back again …. keep on doing what you’re doing Julia , …. because you do it SO WELL!!!! A WONDERFUL host !!! 10 out of 10 yet again!! Fantastic!! Many thanks indeed!! We shall definitely be returning again! Many thanks to Sykes also for ease of booking and first class customer service as always !

It is a very pretty and unspoilt seaside town, we loved it! The North Yorkshire Moors are easily accessible from Saltburn, we visited some beautiful places and certainly did our 10,000 steps (and more!) each day. We hope to visit again!

The accommodation is comfortable, bright and has a calm atmosphere. You are drawn to the windows with lovely views of the sea. The apartment is well situated close to the shops and amenities of Saltburn. There are some lovely walks from the door. We hope to visit again.

The flat was spotless and comfortable and well equipped. Bed very comfy. Great location. Less than a minute from the cliff top and at the other end of the road was a good supermarket. Great location for exploring the area and parking on the road wasn’t a problem. Stairs up to the flat made us puff initially but by the end of the week we were fitter! Thoroughly recommend.

“We had a fantastic stay at Bluewater view!”

It was spotlessly clean , extremely comfortable , the quality of the furnishings and everything provided was excellent. I cooked every day the kitchen had everything I needed and more …lovely to have the dishwasher ….we don’t have one at home so a real treat…no washing up all week!! . Julia even provided the dishwasher tablets ! The welcome basket was lovely and very much appreciated….milk in fridge on our arrival. Julia was extremely kind and helpful when I contacted her. The location is absolutely perfect easy to park and great for travelling and visit all the near by places lovely sea view too!! ….definitely 10 out of ten can’t say enough good things and shall definitely be recommending to family, friends and colleagues. ( we even recommended to people we met during our holidays!) …we would definitely like to return again . Many many thanks to Julia for really making it a great place to stay!

Could not fault it or the location. Spotlessly clean, spacious with plenty of storage, comfortable bed and very well equipped. The proximity to nearby shops, public transport and take-aways was a big bonus. We had never been to Saltburn-on-Sea before but found it a charming and peaceful place. The views from the flat windows were stunning and we were blessed with great weather. A good location for the delights of North Yorkshire and we would love to visit again.

Blue water View is a gem of a place to stay . Saltburn is beautiful with many places to eat and large Sainsbury’s only 2 minutes walk . Excellent base to explore surrounding beaches and villages . Train station 2 minute walk with frequent links to Newcastle , Middlesbrough and York . Absolutely loved this apartment .

You keep being drawn to the windows to look at the ever-changing sea views… Saltburn is a lovely town with shops, cafes, restaurants and the railway station only a couple of minutes’ walk away. “The perfect property in a great location.”

Wouldn’t alter anything. Very comfortable & everything catered for. It was so spotlessly clean & tidy with that fabulous sea view. Large rooms with plenty of space, very light & airy. A beautiful bedroom & super comfortable bed. Just as the photos show but even better in person. Yes there are 36 stairs up to the property but worth that for the view. We saw some beautiful sunrises & sunsets too along with some seals & dolphins. It is also very quiet there. There was one quite windy early morning and a couple of days of rain but you really couldn’t hear much of the weather at all. The town has plenty of supermarkets & eateries. The cliff train is beautiful, steeped in history & worth the £1.50 ride to help keep it running. All in all, a fantastic property & we had a really lovely week in Saltburn by the Sea. Thank you so much.

“We received the key-code by text and access was straightforward.”

The flat was very clean and decorated in a modern style. Everything that you might need was provided. It's in a great location near the sea front with sea views from the windows. We had to contact the owners about an alarm going off in the entrance hall but they sorted it out very quickly. Parking is on-street and we always managed to park nearby with no problems but we visited in September when the sea was calm. Once the waves get up, so that it's good for surfing, the camper vans appear all along the sea front as if by magic! Highly recommend walking the beach to The Stray Cafe at Redcar, or along the coastal path to Skinningrove. Also Saltburn is only a 40 mins drive away from the heart of the North Yorks Moors.

“Bluewater View is a second floor apartment just a minutes walk from the sea front.”

The apartment is new and gives you everything you need including the sea view. The photos on Sykes website are accurate. It is furnished to a high standard with a comfortable king sized bed, modern fittings include a washing machine, dishwasher and large smart tv and video player. There was a nice basket of goodies on arrival and the apartment was very clean. Our host Julia was just a phone call away and was very helpful if we had a problem. The town center is a 5 minute walk away and includes cafes, restaurants and a large Sainsburys. This is next to the train station and near the bus stop, we used the local buses makes a change from driving. Parking is at premium on a weekend but is okay on weekdays. The only negative is the 38 steps from the front door on the ground floor up to the apartment, there is no lift. We had hot sunny weather most days and enjoyed the holiday. Thank you Julia.
