Another fabulous week staying at the Perks!

! The location is perfect to walk down to the beach! The car hasn’t moved all week as we’ve spent days walking & beach fun all from base camp! We had a lovely walk left over the cliffs dolphin spotting! The perks is a great family home, well equipped kitchen to cater for 8! Lots of space for socialising, the x4 kids love sharing the big bedroom! The dogs love the enclosed garden! My favourite bit is the view of the sea and castle in daylight and the moon and stars at night!! Looking forward to being back in October!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is a fantastic family house with no pretense.

Plenty of space and a handy downstairs loo and shower. Great garden with lots of space for the kids to play. Fantastic views from the decking and upstairs bedroom windows. Very handy having a drive. The drive is a bit narrow but I managed to back my large car in carefully. The location is perfect for local attractions. So much to do in the area we only used the car once to visit near by Whitby. Booked again for next summer. Many thanks

As always we were very happy with our stay at The Perks, the only beef I have is with the previous occupants who left dog poo in the garden and used sanitary products on the floor around the bin, There was also a faint smell of weed in one of the bedrooms.

I don't know why people behave in this way, we always treat a holiday like a second home and leave it how we found it. Is it really too much trouble to do a final walk around and check for doggy droppings and make sure everything is in the bin that needs to be in the bin.

Like a lot of listings what suits one may not suit another, if you have a small car the drives fine- large SUV backing in very tight, if you have children a great little enclosed garden if you have dogs next doors dog jumping at the fence might be a problem So in summary owners are very communicative, great location for visiting Whitby-Filey- Scarborough and many Yorkshire attractions a couple of minutes walk for a decent pub real ales and food Negatives needs some TLC beds - garden furniture-decking- tvs - cooker.

The BIG issue for us is the dog restrictions and Sykes needs to note and look at introducing like NT a paw system, because dog friendly is very subjective-our deaf dog has never been left alone so at 7 years old lock him downstairs ? We spend £500-£600 a month on our 2 dogs so if listings had a £50-£100 cleaning charge for dog friendly listings it’s a price most dog owners would pay

A lovely comfortable property, well equipt and well located just above the Sea Life Centre.

We found a reasonable route down to the prom by walking down the side of the golf course and there's a short not too steep slope to the miniature train track crossing. Good sized secure garden, only very slight negative is the honeysuckle growing on the gazebo. For a tall person like me walking under it is spiders in the hair time, lol.

The Perks, Scarborough, was perfect dog friendly accommodation for us.

Although we arrived at about 8pm, this was no issue because we had key safe. The garden was very long, well kept and secure for our tiny dog, who will find her way out of anywhere ! The 2 double beds were very comfortable, we used the family room to store our cases etc. The bath upstairs has a lovely curtained power shower over it, and having an upstairs toilet is a bonus. The downstairs toilet has a good walk in shower, and was perfect for us. Kitchen was very well equipped, including a family sized air fryer, but we ate out, or had take aways. The Perks location on the northern outskirts of Scarborough was perfect for us, and Scarborough promenade was nearby and lovely. We had a fab week, and would book The Perks, dog friendly cottage again, if we return to Scarborough. Good text communication from the owners too !

The Perks is a brilliant base for looking around the North coast of Yorkshire and further inland.

We were so lucky with the weather and had a lovely week of sunshine. Plenty of places to visit and places to walk our dog. The property itself, although warm and comfortable, is very, very tired and run down in some rooms...damp patches on bedroom ceilings are not good! It would certainly benefit from some TLC and updating.

We loved our stay at The Perks.

It felt warm and welcoming as soon as we walked in.Everything we needed to make us feel at home was there.Our dogs enjoyed the garden but,we had plenty of nearby walks.The North side of Scarborough was only 15 mins away walking.The Perks is in a lovely area and not too far from other places.We would definitely stay again if visiting this area.

No fault of the owners but the cleaners had really let them down on our visit. Owners are aware and hopefully cleanliness is rectified. Would return

We love coming to The Perks, it is so convenient for us and makes our holiday in Scarborough all the more special.

I have already booked for next year. On a note to future guests, please consider others and put the bins out on the days indicated. Our bins had not been put out by the previous guests, so we had to leave a full general waste bin for the next guests.

Just back from a fantastic week at the Perks!

! My husband and I stayed last year and booked a return visit with our 4 grandchildren who loved it so much (especially sharing the bedroom for 4) that they requested we return next year so we’ve rebooked!!! The location is perfect, opening the curtains every morning to the most amazing view of the sea, castle and Scarborough! The house is a home, comfortable, cosy , well stocked with cooking utensils including an air fryer and lots of games, books, garden and beach items! The dogs love the enclosed lawned garden. The beach is easy to reach and we were lucky enough to hear the Will Smith concert from the bedroom window and see the fireworks!! Apart from driving round to winking willies fish and chips one evening (they do gluten free f&c) the cars stayed on the drive as we spent the whole week walking and beach days. Nice neighbours and great communication from the owners! Also met Stuart (Facebook Scarborough Porpoise) at the sea watch centre and learned lots about the dolphins etc and also was invited to the informal art class at the Beach chalet cafe (Fri 10-12) Made very happy and lasting memories ❤️ Thank you Anne & Richard❤️

We love our summer holidays at the Perks and always have the most amazing time.

The location and the house itself are brilliant, perfect for what we need as a family. The house improves each year we stay, with care taken by the owners to upgrade everything in the house gradually over time. We can’t wait to return again next year.

A lovely house in a perfect location, the view from the bedroom is stunning.

There is a pub nearby that does a good breakfast and the sealife centre and north bay beach are a ten minute walk. Thankyou for a great holiday.

Just arrived back from spending a lovely week here in Scarborough at the Perks , The house is an ideal place with good views.

it's ideal if your travelling around yorkshire . The house was clean and tidy with almost everything you need provided . Our only gripe is the state of the gardens back and front (the gardener did'nt attend while we were there though it stated they would be on the thursday) and looks like they havn't been for awhile plus the decking area needs some attention and a good clean we would definately consider rebooking when we travel back to yorkshire

Beautiful home and garden with stunning sea views everything we needed to have a wonderful peaceful holiday ,our dogs loved playing in the garden we had great weather so spent most of our time in the summer room and the well maintained garden will definitely return here again.

We had a lovely week once again at The Perks,we have stayed in the property several times and have always felt happy there.

The amenities are good the house is warm and well equipped.The enclosed rear garden is fairly large and great for our border collie,with a large patio area for sitting out weather permitting.

Another great stay at The Perks.

We always notice the upgrades year after year and appreciate them. The house was warm and cosy after some lovely long walks with our dogs. We couldn't get the built in dvd player to work, which was a shame, but we had plenty of choice with Netflix. Maybe the mattresses could be on the next upgrade. We'll be back next year!!

We had a lovely week at the perks, very convenient house to all areas, quiet location, just down the bank is the SCARBOROUGH SEA LIFE CENTRE, dog walks on the doorstep, lovely house that reflects a happy family home that was in the past, only fault we found was the mattresses in the king size beds were very uncomfortable so bad backs were had every day.

We had a great stay at the Perks once again, we have been returning to the Perks for several years now and will continue.

We love Scarborough and the Perks has proved an ideal location for us. We love the dog-friendly beaches and the welcoming town, just a short bus ride away, so need to use the car and struggle with parking. We will be back next year.

The Perks was in a great location with a short walk to the beach and attractions in the North Bay.

Bus/ train routes to the South Bay, Whitby, York were easy to get to. The view from the house is breathtaking and the owners providing binoculars were an added bonus! There were other thoughtful things provided such as lots of board games, outdoor games, films and an Xbox. The welcome box with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. I was disappointed to see when I stripped the bed on the last day stains on the duvet, mattress cover and mattress on the bed my son used. This isn’t good and maybe who cleaned the property before we arrived didn’t check this as all it needed was the mattress/ pillow covers and duvet changing and a mattress protector adding to my sons bed. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked, even with an air fryer. Nice enclosed garden with plenty of furniture. It was lovely sitting out there looking at Scarborough Castle. Pretty lights at night. The dog enjoyed the garden and seeing off the odd squirrel. I thought it was reasonable for the owners to ask for dog mess to be picked up. Good communication prior to arrival. The neighbours also introduced themselves and gave some good local tips. Overall it was a nice stay but I do think there are bits of the property that need revamping. Whilst I kept my dog downstairs as asked, the carpets upstairs did have a doggy smell and need a good clean.

We had a nice week in June at The Perks.

It's a no frills kind of place but is very clean, reasonably comfortable and fairly priced. The location is great, very quiet and is 10 minutes walk from the Northmost promenade. What a fantastic view from the bedrooms upstairs, it is uninterrrupted and panoramic right across to the castle. There's also a nice, well kept garden, spoilt with the end section, that is fenced off and full off rubble. There's no garden furniture that we could see, but the decking and furniture overlooks it. (it all could do with a spring clean tbf). The kitchen is in need of a face-lift, the hob is part of the cooker, and is the old solid plate rings, which are nightmare to control. Overall it's a generous ⅘ for us, and we would have no hesitation in returning.

Initial reaction not good due to porch area being dirty and unkempt.

Once inside house clean and in quiet area, beds comfy, both showers good. Outside area at back could also do with some TLC but would still stay again.

Our stay at the Perks was wonderful.

It had a very homely feel to it. It was clean & had all the facilities we needed. The beds were comfortable & the views were spectacular. There was a lovely decked area to sit out on & a beautiful garden. There was a path at the end of the road which led down to Scalby Mills & Sea life center & a bus round the corner into town which was £2. Everything was easily accessible even for my 80 Yr old dad. Would highly recommend.

Another great stay in Scarborough.

We have stayed at The Perks numerous times. Although the property is dated in some areas, we can see the improvements every time we arrive. We have already booked for next year. The house is ideal for our requirements

On arrival there was a strange smell.

This disappeared after we had opened the windows. Initially the house looked clean but on closer inspection it needed a good dust and the paintwork could have done with a clean. There was mold in one of the bedrooms and in the shower room. Also the shower door was only hanging on the top tracks. The wallpaper was coming off in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped, to the point where we had to keep food on the work top and table as there wasn't enough room in the cupboards. There was rusty and dirty utensils and the oven needed cleaning. There is a cot and high chair but no stairgate which would definitely have made life easier with a small child. Outside there was a part of decking which is beginning to rot. The footpath down the garden was uneven causing trip hazards and the garden needs work as the bushes are overgrown. On the plus side the location was very good and the Tunny Catch and The Old Scalby Mill served lovely food. The food and service at scalby Mill was excellent and they couldn't do enough for us. Also the vets at Swanzdale veterinary care center were excellent and we would recommend them in case of an emergency. A information pack would of been useful.

Lovely and big property feels homey have been 3 times and will go again, brilliant outside for dog and not far from beach.

Has all amenities you will need.

Property is in great location with ample parking and quiet area however the property was comfortable but could do with updating especially the cooker .

Please note that the property states dog friendly however they are not allowed to use the garden as there toilet could I suggest maybe a section of the garden as dogs whilst staying at the property do need the toilet .

My family really enjoyed our stay at The Perks.

Its ina great location close to the Sea Life center and North beach, and a short walk from buses that head to South beach. The house was clean with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and an home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place and will be booking again.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the perks several times.

It is a warm friendly environment,ideally situated for the beach and beautiful theme park a short drive away. There are great walks for fellow dog owners and the rear garden well loved by our border collie Poppy. The house itself is well appointed with washing machine and dishwasher and a newly fitted gas fire that was welcomed when one or two evenings were a bit chilly. In the kitchen it was pleasing to see the addition of an air fryer which was very useful. I highly recommend this property,it is exactly as it shows on the website.

Location Location Location!

!! Finally managed to get to stay at this very cosy, comfortable, dog friendly cottage and booked a return visit within 24 hrs of being there!!! Very much feels homely and provides everything you need. Excellent for dogs with secure large garden. We had snow when we were there and made the most of walking directly out of the house, less than 5 mins to promenade and beach and spent lots of time exploring parts of Scarborough we’d not been to before, as well as Bridlington, Robin Hoods Bay and Filey. Can’t wait to go back!!!❤️❤️❤️

Only 3 things that come to mind 1 Curtains needed on the small windows by the front door 2 Curtain needed on the landing window 3 Dog hairs by the last guests in main room and items left in draws by the bed, both issues should have been addressed by the last guests or your cleaners Kind regards Nick and Jo

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious with excellent facilities. Highly recommended.

The toilet up stairs get stuck on the toilet if you try to open the door wide .

Sofa's lovely & comfortable & lots of them comy beds .The fridge & freezer hadn't been cleaned so we did that before we put food in in general it just needs a be of TLC .The back garden/porch was great for dog stuff & wiping their paws when we'd been out . Love the space in the kitchen & lounge .outside lights wasn't all working. I would stay there again .

Lovely house clean but a bit dated located at the bottom of a quiet cul-d-sac just above peasholme park North Bay A short walk down to the Sea Life Centre

This was not our first time at the Perks nor will it be our last.

It is comfortable and well-equipped, and the two back bedrooms and garden have lovely views of the castle. The location is perfect for our needs, out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the South side and within walking distance of the dog-friendly beach. We love it and have recommended it to friends and family.

The house was excellent, and you can't beat the value for money.

A quick, and beautiful walk to the beach. If the weather is too hot or rainy the bus service is a 2 minute walk away and will take you straight into the southside. The only slight issue we had is that the rose Bush was slightly overgrown; causing a slight hazard to small children and dogs. (But with the crazy weather this year, I'm guessing this couldn't be helped) If it wasn't already booked up for next year, we would have definitely booked again!

We loved the property and it was well equipped.

Great having the guitar as we couldn't pack both our guitars so very happy husband.Loved how close it was to the sea front and sea life centre. The down side the house was it was filthy, I think they need another cleaning service, you can't get in late due to their extensive cleaning but cupboards and pots caked in dust,All round the edges of the rooms thick with dust and on the carpet too.Such a shame as it's a little gem.

We have been staying at the Perks for a number of years now and would highly recommend it for family holidays.

The location of the house is perfect for exploring all of Scarborough. As always we noticed improvements have been made to the house this year. It is always very clean and comfortable there, a real home away from home. My children cry every time we have to leave! Thanks to the Perks for a wonderful holiday once again.

Scalby is a lovely quiet area not too far from the local attractions. Loved relaxing in the large, enclosed garden. Thankyou.

The property is very outdated.

It didn't look or smell like it had been cleaned prior to our visit. The lounge carpet was disgusting and full of stains. The smell was quite strong on entry and had to open windows as it smelt very fusty.

Well equipped, clean and a great location.

I think it might be a good idea to remove all the 50's-70's furniture and fixtures and replace with some newer stuff, because it let's the place down a little. I'd stay here again though, we enjoyed it.

This is our first stay at The Perks and we had a lovely time.

It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were easily contactable for any queries which is great too. May well be back others years.

in a nice quiet location a short walk to the beach. Ideal pfor our dogs, large garden. The neighbours either side are very friendly too.The whole house could do with a deep clean, but it's generally in good order. I'm sure we'll be back again.

This house was perfect.

It is very spacious, very clean and everything you could need is provided. The location is perfect, couple of mins walk to sea front, 10 mins walk to North Beach. Around a 40 min walk to South Beach. Great access to the cliff top walk and a pub just a couple of mins away! Perfect! The garden was lovely, and well maintained. We wanted something with a comfy living room area, going in early May we knew the weather might mean some time at the house, so kept in mind we might want to watch movies, play board games etc. The living room was so comfy, lovely sofas. We are a family of 3 and had a large sofa each! Good size table in kitchen for eating and playing games. Beds were comfy and as a family of 3, there was more than enough space as there is room for 8 people to sleep in total. Fantastic place, great location and very well equipped. Highly recommended, we will return.

We enjoyed our 3rd visit to The Perks,the house was warm and welcoming,the alterations to the rear garden and within the house were lovely and the improvements to the covered area in front of the garage were noted.

We would recommend The Perks, it is in a quiet residential area with lovely walks,easy access to the beach and to the town centre. There are 2 good sized supermarkets within a 10 minute drive . The large rear garden is fully enclosed ideal for Poppy our border collie.

We had a great holiday, everything we needed in the property a great night sleep the dogs loved the garden very safe.

The Perks is an ideal property for a comfortable large family holiday with children and pets at anytime of year, location is perfect for easy access to the beach and amenities, the outside space is secure for dogs to frequent while supervised, lots of off street parking, the house is well equipped, the kitchen has a pot and pan for everything, our Christmas dinner is testament to the fact.

Basically it's lovely and comfortable and recommended.

Second stay at The Perks.

A great size house for our party of 4 adults and 2 dogs. Good sized garden for dogs, although it needs some pruning and tidying up. The house is in a great location for beach walks, which is why we go. The beds are a little soft for our tastes and could do with some better mattresses.The downstairs shower not very powerful, Overall a good stay, we are booked to return in May.

When we arrived. Floors was still damp. That wasn’t a problem. It all seemed unclean so we cleaned kitchen and table because we have a new born baby with us. Dog food was still stuck to the floor. So we had to clean floors. There was a bit of human poo on the wall in the upstairs toilet. We had to clean that off. Moved microwave to plug phone in and socket was loose. It all needs a refresh.bits under the settees in conservatory.we don’t mind being out dated but it’s got to be clean and fresh. Not good at all.

Hi property was very dated, also no info left regarding buses in to Scarborough also in property 4 days before we reailised bus is around the corner to Scarborough, , not on the main round, which involved loads of walking to get there,, Also key clock is awful as numbers all faded off and real difficulty to read, would not stay there again,

We enjoyed our stay at the Perks.

The house was clean and comfortable, if a little dated and the garden is fabulous. Our dogs loved it! The location is very good with a five minute walk to the pub and the sea. We would have liked a shaver/toothbrush socket in the bathroom and there were no oven gloves but these are very minor criticisms.

Very spacious property with lots of extras for both grandchildren and adults nice garden but decking could do with a bit of tlc very close to the beach and sea live centre, and water park ,nice pub short walk down the hill and bus to South shore .

Great place to stay, we have been before and since our last visit there has been some new furniture and a coat of paint in some rooms.

It is in a great location within walking distance to Scarborough town and very close to the beach. The rear garden is a real suntrap. It would be great if there was a BBQ that you could use as we have taken our own which does take up space when travelling but other than that a great place to stay. Thanks The Smith family.

Really enjoyed our stay at the perks .

Just a couple of points, the cooker is sloping forward, also the oven doesn’t cook very well unless you put it to the hottest setting.( this could be operator error!) The beds are very soft, some of us would of preferred firmer mattresses. The garden is lovely but needed a good tidy. None of this has stopped us from booking to go back later this year

The property is in a very poor state, kitchen cupboards full of odd chipped crockery oven trays were disgusting and unusable.

Lounge furniture is very old,uncomfortable and dirty. Only good thing is location and comfortable beds

Perks was not covid clean 3 hours was taken from our holiday for extra cleaning.

we arrived at 4.55 pm kitchen floor was still wet no warning sign left. Black grease spots on the floor in front of kitchen units. Food/ drink spilled down the bottom cupboard doors if door handles had been sanitised how was this missed. Opened top cupboard door left of the cooker and biscuit ? crumbs fellout. Oven trays still had bits of food on them which someone else had complained about they were only fit for the bin we bought one to use and left it for the next guest to use..Kitchen table was stained probably food chairs had dust at the back of the seats .remotes not sanitised and bagged which is part of covid cleaning binoculors have a layer of dust on them as most of the window sills .We cleaned the kitchen and sanitised all the handles were not confident this had been done stains easily cleaned off the table and doors.You need to find new cleaners we didn,t bother to phone the owner if cleaners cannot clean properly why fetch them back

We have stayed several times here but this was not good at all.

The house was only minimally cleaned, we found dust and grime everywhere. On check out day we had to leave early, but 2 of our party were catching the train at 2pm so were in no rush to leave. The cleaners still hadn’t shown up at 10.30 when they eventually left, which together with the 2 of them turning up early on check in day and finding no one there therefore getting in early also, answers the question why the place wasn’t cleaned to a decent standard - the cleaners were definitely not doing COVID standard. A shame really as we have enjoyed our holidays here otherwise.

We have stayed in The Perks on numerous occasions now and it never fails to deliver.

We love the house and the location is amazing. Each time we visit we notice that the owners have made little improvements to the house and the lovely garden. On arrival the house was lovely and clean and tidy, and it’s so useful that all the linen and towels are included for us. The kitchen is really well equipped and there are plenty of things to keep the kids entertained - my 2 year old is obsessed with cars and loved playing with his toys on the little road map carpet that is in the children’s room. A home away from home and an excellent base for a big family looking to enjoy all that Scarborough has to offer.

When we arrived the place was extremely below par in cleanliness.

It looked like the cleaners, if they turned up wore blindfolds. We sent an email to the owners the next day because we found all the oven trays were not remotely clean (did not eat in accommodation until Sunday morning). We found sweet wrappers on the floor, crumbs in the cracks of the furniture in the living room. There should be a warning sign tape in between the kitchen and conservatory as there is a step. There are cobwebs in the bathroom and the shower tray was grubby. In general throughout the property was caked in dust on the top surfaces. There was evidence that the kitchen floor had been mopped. The toaster wants throwing in a tip as it was useless. The grill kept cutting out and we had to cook sausages in the oven instead. The dvd collection in the cupboard was half empty (empty cases on the shelves). Apparently the cleaners are Sykes approved. We have used Sykes for 10+ years and we have now booked our next years holiday through somebody else due to this bad experience and it is unlikely we will be back. This review will be going on trust pilot shortly

On arrival cleanliness was very poor, we had to hoover throughout and wash the bedding.

Garden overgrown until penultimate day when gardeners just let themselves in to the rear garden whilst we were at home.

no hot water when we arrived was not covid clean thick layer of dust in sitting room area furniture very shabby grime round the bathroom taps very bad lighting in the kitchen

All the things you might need. Close to sealife at north of town. 10 min walk to beach. Had a great time.

Both of my parents are older and they needed their car to get about due to the location.

For our teenagers and ourselves we would not have needed our car at all. The garden is a delight and fully enclosed for any dog ( if my parents dog didn’t get out - no dog will get out). The heating is excellent. The kitchen has loads of utensils. There’s always parking on the road if you don’t want to use the long drive. We lost a key and the owners could not have been more understanding helping make to upset children feel better.

We have stayed at The Perks before and it was lovely to return to this warm and welcoming home.

It’s a roomy house ideal for a large family with a secure garden at the rear if you take a dog with you. The house is well equipped very clean and well maintained,It’s well situated just 10 minutes from Scarborough town centre by car ,there is a bus service fairly close by. Locally there are several attractions including a small gauge railway running from the sealife centre to Peasholm park a beautiful oriental themed park well worth a visit. The area has lots of lovely walks some leading down to the beach. There are several large superstores in Scarborough town centre the centre itself is great for a days shopping. Looking forward to returning soon

The house was so spacious,clean and very comfortable.

A lovely calm feeling from the moment we entered, everything you could need was provided, we will definately be booking again if we could give more than 10 stars we would, thank you for making our holiday so memorable.

A really comfortable holiday home, although the decor is slightly dated, the kitchen facilities and contents were fantastic - enough crockery, cutlery and cooking pots to satisfy the biggest group and having two bathrooms is a great asset.

Garden is big, plenty of space for dogs or children to play and explore. Certainly enough car parking for three cars along the drive. The location is brilliant, a literal stone throw from the beach (3 1/2 mins walk) so ideal for dogs and children. The 'old Scalby Mill' is a lovely friendly pub same distance away (a bit further home as its up hill) it has a good bar food menu and dogs are allowed. Its a a very short walk to North bay and Peasholme Park. and a nearby bus stop to get to the old town and South Bay, could manage easily for a weekend without a car. However this is also a good base to explore other coastal towns and villages such as Filey, Whitby or Bridlington if you have the time. Certainly well worth a visit.

The house is well appointed for the quieter end of the resort of Scarborough the beach is just five minutes walk, in fact once you have arrived the car can become redundant we hardly used ours, walking the dogs, us and children straight from the front door.

The garden was a little wet as we were here at Christmas but no doubt in the warmer months it would be super to sit out in and relax. The house is certainly not the most swish modern place available, but very warm and clean just what we required. The kitchen is very well equipped and the house has plenty of comfortable seating to relax and chat or watch T.V, the family room bedroom has a little damp over the window which is caused by the exterior crack above the lintel to the front elevation, but our Grandchildren loved it in their dorm room. We had a fabulous family Christmas week.

The views from the bedroom windows was fab and it was a nearer walk to the beach than I thought.

On the downside the garden room roof leaked when it rained and the boiler went out 5 times whilst we were there. We contacted the owner who told us what to do luckily my husband was able to sort it, parts are ordered owner tells us. But there was everything you needed to make a good holiday. The house was very cosy when cold outside and much bigger than we thought. Would go again. Owner very responsive and helpful

the Perks is really lovely .

Its very clean and comfortable with everything you need .the garden is dog proof so two happy dogs .A very short walk to the beach and a lovely little pub just 5 minutes away that does lovely food .we will rebook the perks again

The property made the holiday especially with the inclement weather.

The house is warm and cosy and there is everything you need.

View to the bay and castle is stunning. Quiet area close to all amenities Perfect if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with your dogs.

The accommodation was in walking distance to the beach and pub.

The only problem that we had was having to keep our dogs on leads as there was only the beach for them to run about on (only this time of year).

The location was ideal and the views were stunning.

Quiet neighborhood and very friendly neighbours .Would highly recommend

House was everything as described on sykes website clean tidy ,well kept garden,plenty of extra bedding if needed

Some minor repairs required in the property,shower head attachment in downstairs bathroom broken,window in upstairs bathroom unable to open due to dodgy catch.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. Everything else fine,we did have a very enjoyable holiday.

What a lovely house, big garden for all the family to enjoy.
