A wonderful ground-floor apartment sitting near the coast in Scalby, North Yorkshire. This property can be booked alongside (Beechwood Vista 1098236) to take a larger multigenerational group with a max of 8 people. Enclosed garden, that can become a shared garden if booked alongside Beechwood Vista . 1 Dog allowed ( no other animals) WiFi. Electric fire. Parking for 1 car. Walking routes. Scarborough 3 miles; Whitby 18 miles.

A lovely central property

Has everything you need in the property, well equipped. Lovely to have beverages available on arrival. Was great the bedding and towels were included. Handy having machine, clothes horse and washing line available.Slightly disappointed in bathroom, shower felt a little closed in, perhaps going forward a shower over a full sized bath might be better as assisting my disabled daughter was a little challenging. We used the garden area, is private and is separate to the upstairs apartment's garden. Generally we felt the property was as advertised and the hosts were very accommodating regards access for my daughter's medical equipment. Would recommend a stay here.

This delightful ground-floor apartment of Beechwood View is nestled between the heritage Coast and the vast North York Moors National Park in the quaint village of Scalby, North Yorkshire. Ideal for a small family or a bunch of mates wishing to visit this beautiful section of Yorkshire, Beechwood View is within easy reach of ample attractions. Head up the three low steps and through the porch to stow your walking boots away and hang up your coat, which you won't need in Scarborough's summertime! If you're visiting during the winter, the living/dining room is the ideal place to retreat to, with a stove-effect electric fire as the focal point of the room; kick back and relax while taking in the magnificent country views just outside the window. The neighbouring dining area enjoys the fantastic backdrop the countryside, thanks to the adjacent window, for you to admire during an evening meal. Next door, the well-equipped kitchen is great for any budding chef, with its good selection of appliances on hand You won't have to go far to prepare wonderful dinners or get late-night nibbles because the kitchen is just next door to the living/dining room. In the evening, retire to one of two bedrooms, the first being a lovely double with plenty of wardrobe space. The single bedroom is close by and offers a trundle bed, making it excellent for children or couples. When it's sunny, be sure to make the most of it out on the private patio; it's a lovely area to enjoy alfresco dining, and there's even a laundry line for you to hang up your towels. Take a stroll around the village of Scalby, which is surrounded by charming stone cottages and Victorian buildings; it's a picturesque place with its own pubs, eateries and shops, not to mention a farmer's market held twice a week where you can buy delectable snacks. There are several public pathways to explore, including the delights of Raincliffe Woods, Forge Valley along Scalby Beck, and north on the former railway track to Burniston, Cloughton, and Ravenscar, all of which are ideal for bringing the dog along. Once you arrive at the coast of the resort town of Scarborough, you'll be astounded by the variety of amenities on offer, including SEA LIFE; perfectly appropriate for the seaside theme, the Japanese-style park and gardens of Peasholm Park, and the beautiful Scarborough Castle; infused with history and even more beautiful scenery, just to mention a few of the favourite attractions. Unfortunately we do not allow dogs in Beechwood Vista and not beyond the conservatory if a multi booking. No Smoking allowed.
Please note this property accepts dogs only - no other animals. Dogs not to be left unattended in the property at anytime.

Everything fine and catered for our needs, only comment would be if the apartment upstairs was booked it looks like the garden would be shared, having a dog it wouldn’t work for us as he would be visiting next door and keeping him on the lead would be a pain, luckily upstairs was being decorated and not booked out so wasn’t a problem, so everything fine.

The location with it's open views over fields was lovely. It was just right for us walking the coast path, Cinder Track and exploring the area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable but the bedrooms were rather cramped, particularly if there were 4 people staying. For just the 2 of us it was a lovely base for an enjoyable visit. Thank you.
