Just returned home from a two week stay at this lovely accommodation, the owners have gone to great lengths to ensure you'll want for nothing, will definitely be booking again.

Our 2nd stay at Carisbrooke and very good both times.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in Scarborough. So many things to do in Yorkshire you'll never be bored. To anyone reading this you will enjoy yourselves.

It was very good great location couldn’t ask for more

Property was excellent, warm and comfy, unfortunately had to go out every day and night because watching tv was impossible due to there being no signal, the worst gripe of all was when we arrived after a 3 hour drive in horrible weather all we wanted to do was sit down and have a nice brew, unfortunately there was no milk,first time that's ever happened, other than that no problems, apart from the weather.

Super clean, well equipped and spacious. We wanted for nothing. This was one of the best holiday let's we have stayed in. The location was perfect for us too.

A lovely apartment that is well equipped and very clean, however we didn't sleep well at all due to the very uncomfortable mattress.

We noticed that this has been remarked upon several times by previous guests in comments in the guest book in the apartment. Unfortunately, because of the bed, we wouldn't want to stay again.

A very lovely light quiet apartment with leafy green views over gardens and a pleasant easy walk into Scarborough.

Good quality, nice and clean and easy parking on the level. Enjoyed having breakfast and dinner at the table in the bay window and watching the world go by. The owner Amanda was very kind and friendly and a pleasure to correspond with. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

It was advertised with off road parking, but it's on street parking.

Apart from that the property was lovely and clean, very comfortable, and spacious, and in perfect location for all the amenities

A second stay at Carisbrooke, which is a cosy, well-equipped and spacious flat, close to all Scarborough's attractions.

The property is well situated and well maintained. The area is very hilly and the view shown on the website is a little optomistic. However it is close to both the town centre and the foreshore.

Space, arrangement, bay windows/ views front and back great.

Comfortable sofas, but unfortunately spoilt by hard and ridgey bed. Also the entrance and stairway very musty smelling. Great location and parking availability good.

The property is superb, immaculately clean and clean tidy, and so comfortable, Amanda and Andy are at the other end of the phone if you ever need them and they are the perfect hosts.

The apartment is perfectly sited for town, beach and all the amenities. We loved it and can't wait to go back there. Thank you Amanda and Andy you are great.

Parking is very straightforward (always plenty of spaces). Enjoyed watching a couple of the dvds - Lots that we hadn't seen to choose from. We will be back.

Very nice apartment about a ten minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the seafront.

Bed was very comfortable, very quiet and well situated for Town, beach, buses and trains. Parking was very good. We were walking the coast and were able to use public transport. Highly recommend and will definitely book again when we are next in the area.

We had a lovely time in Scarborough and this was helped by the fact we had a terrific base in Carisbrooke House.

It is situated a short walk from the beach and attractions which made life easy for us as we didn't need to worry about parking. The apartment was as clean as could be, very well equipped and comfortable, a perfect little bolt hole. The owner replied very promptly to our emails and was kind enough to provide parking discs for the whole time we were there.

Quiet location easy parking using voucher provided by owner.

Easy arrival and departure.flat has everything and more you would need for holiday. Flat is up 2 lots of stairs but no issue for us. Good location for accessing local area and beaches.

Far exceeded expectations.

Good location handy for a short walk into town. Parked up for the week and never used the car. Walked everywhere .lots to do and see. I could live in that apartment. Excellent communication with owner. Marvellous

We enjoyed our holiday and the apartment was very clean and contemporary.

It was comfortable apart from the two sofas, which we found uncomfortable and hard to sit on for any length of time. The lack of WiFi was also a nuisance. The owners Amanda and Andy were very nice and helpful.

We had a fantastic break, the apartment is ideally located close to the beach and town.

flat is perfectly located for walking distance to south beach (spa end) 5mins, town 10 mins, pubs nearby and 5-10mins away you have small stretch of shops , eateries if you want somewhere quieter.

We had a great stay in this lovely apartment, very comfortable, immaculate and a great location.

The flat was great.

It was quiet, comfortable and spacious for the two of us. It was really very well situated being within 10 minutes walk to the sea and not much more to the town center. I would recommend the property and would try and stay there again the next time we go to Scarborough. There was an issue with not enough parking scratch cars when we arrived but one quick phone call to the owner and she sorted it out right there and then. Couldn't ask for more. My issue is with Sykes themselves. I have booked cottages with them several times before over the phone but now they are charging an additional fee for this on top of the already pricey booking fee, they are just getting too greedy in my opinion and not providing as good a service as they did in the past. Sorry Sykes I will have to be very desperate before using you again.

Flat was just what we were looking for and in a very good location and would highly recommend booking this flat and using Skyes Cottages as they were very helpful when I was enquiring about booking my holiday and i would certainly book through them again.

I am hopeless at practicalities, so found the key arrangements baffling On entering, I would have aligned the code numbers on the wrong level if a cleaner had not arrived (we should not have been there, but were able to leave some bags in the event) On leaving, I could not work the code, only realizing after I had locked myself out that after you have input the code, you have to pull the little black handle on the left to open it (by then I had left the keys on the bed in the flat)

Flat 4 apartment was brilliant.

It was lovely and clean well maintained and tastefully decorated. The on site parking with permit and discs in the road was great as parking is very expensive.It is just a 15/20 minute walk into town centre or seafront and situated on a very quiet road.The apartment had a brilliant addition of a dressing room very handy to put away suitcases, clothes etc. Although there is no WiFi this was not a problem as we used mobile data. Had brilliant communication with the owners from the start of the booking and would definitely book again.Thank you Amanda and Andy for sharing your lovely holiday accommodation.

Cosy comfortable apartment, plenty of room for two, ideally placed for town centre and south cliffs.

Flat was beautiful and clean.

They had everything we needed and more. Short distance to the beach and shops, but also in a quiet area, which was fab. Only thing was there was no WiFi, however, it was nice to get away from that aspect and to just relax.

Very comfortable flat in a convenient location.

Well appointed, nice kitchen, shower over the bath is as good as a power shower, storage heaters kept it warm, selection of DVDs for quiet nights in. Quite close to the centre and the beach plus there's a parade of shops just up the road the other way (Sainsbury's Local, Puzza Hut, etc.) Scarborough is a great location for the beaches, Cleveland Way path to Filey, Yorkshire Forest and everything you'd expect from a mid-sized town; shops, cafes, takeaways and so on. Would happily stay there again.

It was a real home from home. So convenient for town and sea.

We have family in Scarborough and having the flat gave us some free time to ourselves very near to the sea front and a nice walk along Peasone Park and road to my son's house.
