Manor Heath Apartment 1

The only gripe is apartment no 1 the one we stayed in’s parking space didn’t have a ev charging socket but fortunately the council car park adjacent to the apartment had plenty of charging points at the same cost.

It’s free parking between 6pm and 9am. The apartment is really nice and the location for the north bay amenities, beach and bus to the south bay every 10 minutes made for a pleasant stay in Scarborough. Also Peasholm Park is literally across the road from the apartments, and it’s definitely worth visiting.

This is our second stay in the apartment and I would certainly recommend it.

It is very clean, modern and well equipped; it is also in a great location close to Peasholm Park and the North Bay. Finally, it has its own parking spot - a real bonus in Scarborough!

Information was good and both apartments were clean and comfy. We had a fabulous time and will definitely use again

Brilliant location with off street parking.

Super clean and well decorated but let down by kitchen equipment- no sharp knife (just 1 bread knife), frying pan suitable only for 1 egg at a time, only 2 full size forks, only 1 large wine glass - and a broken cork screw!

The building was well maintained in a lovely setting opposite Peasholme Park and a short stroll to a dog friendly beach.

The flat itself was beautiful, light and airy and good quality fittings. We would love to go back and highly recommend it. Close to shops and cafes, also the outdoor theatre, shops and city centre.

Fantastic apartment only one problem, mattresses on beds are either old or not the best of quality for comfort.

A clean and tidy, well decorated apartment with plenty of towls, bedding and washing up items.

It a spacious and lived up to its online description giving us everything we asked for in terms of parking, proximity to the beach and dog friendliness. On top of this, even though on a busy'ish road and opposite a popular park it remained quiet at night. Great location for exploring Scarborough and wider North Yorks amazing coastline and countryside (be sure to visit Witby and sample the local fish and chips, Mr Chips is highly recommended

The apartment is lovely, the location is great.

what let it down were the tired lumpy mattresses. If these were replaced the place would be perfect.

We enjoyed out stay, apartment had everything we needed, we enjoyed the wine left by the owners, would recommend & return.

Lovely apartment close to North Bay and all amenities.

5 minute walk to Open top bus that will take you to South Bay. One small thing is that because you are on the ground floor people can see through the windows, would be a good idea to have blinds or voile on the lounge and main bedroom for privacy. Also black out curtains as it gets light very early in the summer. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay at apartment 1 Manor Heath.

It was in a perfect position for activities. The only thing we found was the mattresses in the bunk bedroom were very uncomfortable as all the springs could be felt lying down. I folded the spare duvet and my daughter lay on top of it to get a good nights sleep. Everything else was clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay.

Only minutes walk to The Open Air Theatre, and close to bus stop. Fab place with everything you need. Will definitely stay again

We had a lovely stay at the flat.

It's in a great location, both within Scarborough, and more generally to visit the Yorkshire coast and moors. The parking was great - though the entrance is quite tight if you have a large car. The flat was nicely laid out and well equipped (though we couldn't find a little kitchen knife) and the owners responded very quickly when we asked for a thinner duvet. We would recommend and would be happy to return.

We have stayed at Manor Heath several times and never been disappointed.

The apartment was clean and comfortable with sufficient equipment to make meals if required. We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to return .

A really nice ground floor flat, ideal for me with some disabilities.

In a lovely location, within easy reach for walking on beach and in Peasholm Park. My dog and I enjoyed every day. The little train to sealife,and costal bus ment we didn't have to use car and find parking. Italian garden are worth a visit. Far on south shore,via bus on shore,and vanicular tram up cliff from next to Spa. Only fault I found shower over bath was very difficult to turn, I ended up using bath. Shower in en-suite is so powerful it was not comfortable to use. Great stay,one of sykses good stays. Will consider going back there.

The apartment is in a really nice location And over all we had a great time The only issues we had was the noise from above us and the Adult bunk beds were not very comfortable apart from that it was very nice

Apartment One is on the ground floor and was absolutely perfect for our needs as my wife is somewhat unsteady on her feet.

On our arrival on a grey February day, as we entered the apartment it was immediately noticeable that it was lovely and warm with an efficient heating system.It is well appointed and spotlessly clean and felt like a home from home which is an enormous complement. The location is also perfect for the local park and North Bay with plenty of open space to exercise your dog if you bring one. The fact that you have an allotted parking space at the rear of the property is also a great bonus. All in all one of the most relaxing and comfortable properties I have stayed at in recent times.

Absolutely love it. Location is excellent for all North Bay amenities. My dog loved it as its near to the beach. My dad loved it as its not a far walk from anywhere & is near the bus to South Bay. Clean, comfortable. All home comforts. Would suit us better if we could stay Sat-Sat instead if Fri-Fri. But thankyou.

We have stayed at manor heath 3 times now in different apartments and each one has been lovely, everything needed for a great holiday.

Great location close enough to the beach and a nice walk to Scarborough town either sea front or through the housing areas. Will defo be back again

The property was comfortable.

The apartment was in a very good location. The kitchen provided a good standard for cooking. The sofas were very comfortable and relaxing.

Welcome pack, wine, coffee, tea and sugar, much appreciated Well positioned for the beach, park and buses. One stop shop and Tesco express near by. We found the North Shore and the position of the apartment, brilliant for the dog. Couldn’t of stopped anywhere better.

Property was generally as it said on the tin, but the settee’s aren’t very comfortable.

There wasn’t any cleaning products at all just one washing up liquid so unable to keep bathrooms as clean as we wanted, given the price of property wasn’t prepared to go out and buy any.

The heated towel rail in bath only heats up at the bottom ,needs bleeding.

The bathroom door is slightly warped at the bottom. The setters in the lounge need seat cushions reupholstering. Wardrobe door in main bedroom sticking difficult to open

Stayed at Manor Heath several times over the last few years, feels like a home from home. Always very clean and well appointed, love the location and will definitely stay again!

MIGHT BE WORTH ADVISING THE OWNER OF A LEAK OR OVERFLOW FROM THE GUTTERING WHICH CAUSES SPLASHING ON THE CONCRETE OUTSIDE OF THE BEDROOMS ( APARTMENT ONE )

We had an issue with clean but stained bed linen, however this was dealt with and changed for us, so my only comment to the owners would be to invest in some more linen or a better laundry service.

However the apartment was in a good location north beach end it was modern clean tidy, had all the basic kitchen requirements and ideal for the two of us.Thank you

Superb accommodation.

Very comfortable and clean. So convenient for beach, Peasholme Park, Alpamare Water Park and Sea Life Centre.

We are both disabled with mobility issues.

The checkout time of 0900 was too early for us so we left a day early on the Thursday at our leisure. We found seating the table in the bay window awkward. Apart from that we thought it was just asdescribed and we thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend and return.

Microwave needs replacing Only one very thin toilet roll in both bedrooms Everything else was fine and we had a lovely time.

Would benefit from having seating, even just a bench in the front garden as it’s a lovely spot.

The apartment was lovely and in a great location.

However, we found a lot of rubbish under the sofa (our dog was sniffing so we had a look) and mould behind the curtain in the main bedroom - neither we would have expected given the rating.

Only one washing machine between six flats but otherwise very central and comfortable.

Beautiful accommodation and excellent location.

This really is a Home from home. We have visited Scarborough every year for thirty years and this is by far the most exceptional holiday let we have stayed in. Tue kitchen provided everything a working kitchen requires including a complimentary bottle of wine! If I had to give constructive feedback it would be that the bedrooms may benefit from a small TV ( for the teenagers and parents) and the sofas are a tad too small. My children are very tall and chilling on the sofa was not an option so it was the floor or the bedroom, this said I stil plan to rerun next year and would highly recommend this to all age groups.

Apartments are clean and comfortable, ideaaly situated for Peasholm Park and Scarborough's North Bay.No reason as to why we won't be returning in the future.

Everything was as expected.

We had to change to this property at the last minute, but we were not disappointed with the change. Perhaps the car park allocations could be changed. All spaces were allocated adequately but our space was right next to apartment 6 , which meant they didn't have privacy when we parked right next to their windows. Just swapping spaces 6 and 1 would alleviate this little lack of privacy. We would recommend this property, it was modern, well equipped, quiet and felt very private.

This was our second visit to apartment 1 , it’s home from home, can’t fault it and only 5 minute walk to the stunning beach and a lovely walk along the seafront, thank you for a wonderful holiday.

This apartment is absolutely amazing, location is fantastic.

Parking is great. Facilities are great, the little touches of milk, tea, coffee and wine we’re lovely. But a hair dryer would have been useful. Also Wi-fi at times was intermittent. But did not effect us too much. Would recommend to anyone, we will be looking to book for next year.

The apartment was very clean, warm, and beautifully decorated and furnished.

We were delighted with the accommodation in Scarborough, great location, spacious, clean, modern with everything we needed for a lovely enjoyable break.

Loved the copper highlights! Will definitely go back. Thank you so much. My only advice: there was nowhere to hang coats when we returned from a cold, windy beach, so some hooks in the hallway or hangers in the wardrobe (we forgot to take any!) would be great. All in all, really lovely!

Wonderful apartment.

Plenty of floor space for a family of 4. Very clean and the furnishings are lovely. Great location too.

This apartment is very high spec and beautifully furnished, absolutely loved it , you have thought of every little detail and the wine was a nice touch.

It's also in a perfect location opposite Peasholm park which is stunning and 4 minutes walk to the beach, excellent walks, would highly recommend, thank you for a memorable holiday, hope to return sometime in the future.

The flat was in an ideal position so that both North and South Bays could be enjoyed to the full.

We especially enjoyed our strolls through Peasholm Park from first thing in the morning until late evening, whenever in fact, we might be venturing out or returning to the flat. Cosy, spotlessly clean and comfortable it was a lovely 'home' for the week.

The location is perfect and the decor throughout the apartment was amazing!

There were areas where there could be improvement....ie extractor hood ....light shade in main bedroom.....making sure to empty bin in main bathroom ...also point out where the bathroom and shower room extractor fan switches are...but overall we were totally happy with the apartment just needs a little attention in certain areas.

Five minutes walk to the North bay and across the road from Peasholm park. If it had a stronger Wi-Fi signal it would be perfect.

This was a great flat right in the centre of Scarborough and a great base to explore North Yorkshire.

Very comfortable and lots of extra touches made this a great place. The only thing that let it down was the WiFI which was very poor and I couldn’t connect any of my devices to and in the end I ended up paying for a BT Fon pass just to get a good conmection. Other than that a well furnished flat which was very comfortable.

Clearly well thought out and furnished with love. It was so cosy too. We felt as comfortable as if we were at home.
