What guests are saying
Quite a lot of work needed to bring this property up to spec.
-half the jets on the hot tub not working and various parts broken off -kitchen very poorly stocked with cupboards filled with bizarre mismatches of crockery and glassware. Cutlery was cheap and nasty. -no wood or fire making provisions as expected -showers have very low pressure and back bedroom mattress was like concrete. -very cheap and nasty pillows and duvets -drawers, cupboards etc all filled with junk. -back ensuite mirror broken -only three bar chairs one of which was broken -door latches broken -kitchen extractor not working Clearly being run into the ground for profit. Needs some love and care. Very disappointed and won't be going back.
Booking was easy, instructions beforehand were great.
House was absolutely beautiful. Few bits of maintenance needed. Biggest issue was running out of hot water in the morning before everyone had showered. It was also quite dark around the hot tub at night
We had a fabulous holiday at Seamer Manor House.
The house is stunning and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The garden and hot tub were great, though it would have been nice if the pergola over the hot tub was waterproof as it rained quite a bit while we were there. The large area for parking was a real bonus. We would definitely return here.
